As the Supporter Engagement Officer, you’ll create opportunities for our amazing supporters to connect with and drive our work through various means of individual giving. You'll create engaging communucations, ensuring that our donors feel valued and understand the impact they're having on babies and their families, and you'll develop key appeals and individual giving activity to drive growth in these income streams.
You will:
- Manage the development of individual giving income streams, including legacy giving, regular giving, one-off gifts, in memory giving and new products
- Co-ordinate key engagement activity, such as the annual supporter Thankathon and Impact Report
- Oversee administration and stewardship of individual giving income
- Manage the promotion, sale and distribution of Lullaby Trust merchandise
This role can be offered as a hybrid role (with approximately one day per week in our London office) or fully remote, with occasional visits to the office for meetings or staff days as necessary; the two salary ranges above reflect this. The 21 hours could be worked across 3-5 days per week.

The Role

What to expect in a fundraising role?
The Fundraising Officer role is a fast-paced and rewarding role where no two weeks will look the same.
A typical day will have different meetings, priorities and team projects. Corporate and University partnerships often involve supporting several different areas of a business or university with varying content, ideas and stewardship, including hosting supporters at our learning centres. Each fundraising area meets regularly to discuss challenges, new ideas and improvements, and the broader fundraising team meets monthly to reflect on progress to date and plan for the rest of the year ahead.

Target is to raise in excess of £300,000 per annum from UK and International Trusts, Foundations, other Institutional Donors and individuals in 2025-6 and increase by £40,000 a year thereafter.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities
This position will focus on sourcing and developing potential national and international funders who provide single and multi-year grants in excess of £10,000 including those who do not accept unsolicited grants.
Duties include:
- Develop and manage opportunity pipelines of prospective funders, planning introductions.
- Write compelling, concise, well-presented, tailored approaches and grant applications in Word and Canva.
- Liaise with the Operations team, to gather the relevant information for grant applications (e.g. data, case studies, imagery etc).
- Ensure systems are kept up to date with all details of grant application documents, progress and outcomes and any other interactions with funders.
- Work with partners in Tanzania to offer them support and guidance
- Draft programme reports for projects for which you have raised funds.
- Contribute with other team members to the organisational budgeting process, by producing a detailed breakdown of opportunities and likelihood of success.
- Contribute to production of key external documents which may impact Trust and Foundation fundraising e.g. Annual Report & Accounts, Impact Report.

The role
The Senior Fundraising Officer is responsible for managing our portfolio of events and liaising with our community fundraisers to maximise their fundraising, as well as managing our individual supporters and managing fundraising admin across multiple areas. About the Role
We are seeking to recruit a creative and ambitious Fundraising and Communications Officer.
As our reach and impact has increased significantly in recent years, so has our income, and this new role has been created in response to that demand. This is an exciting opportunity for a fundraiser who wants to widen, or consolidate, their knowledge and experience of fundraising, in an international context, as well as gain communications experience.
We are a very small team so the role will cover a breadth of funding streams, with a particular focus on Trusts and Foundations, High Value Donors, and Events, both special and community. Key Responsibilities
- Steward, retain and grow the support of our existing donor portfolio: KHULA has an existing portfolio of donors including trusts, foundations, corporates, major donors, individual and regular givers, the majority of whom are based in the UK or South Africa. Alongside the Director of Fundraising and Communications, the post holder will be responsible for managing these relationships, including bespoke reporting for trusts and major donors and taking responsibility for their own portfolio of donors.
- Donor prospecting and new business: researching and generating new donor leads as well as acting on opportunities provided by our Board and others, converting prospects into supporters of our programmes.
- External communications: working alongside the Director of Fundraising and Communications, assisting in the creation of our quarterly e-newsletter and the Annual Report, managing our social media channels, in addition to other ad hoc external communications.

We are looking for a new Stories and Media Coordinator to join our Fundraising and Communications team, to help ensure that people with lived experience of the immigration system are the driving force of our dynamic communications work, whilst also building the organisation’s profile and amplifying our systems-change work.
You will play an integral role in the Fundraising and Communications team in an ambitious organisation.

About the role
As CUF works towards a new strategy and refreshed mission, vision and values, fundraised income is crucial for supporting its programmes and core operations. Job Description

The Direct Marketing Manager, Retention, is a newly developed role at the DEC, responsible for shaping and delivering new and existing supporter journeys for DEC individual, community and legacy donors, and leading a programme of improvement across all major contact points between the DEC and the public.
The Direct Marketing Manager, Retention will:
- Contribute to and develop DEC direct marketing strategies, including the refreshing, implementation and analysis of the DEC’s segmentation, to maximise future income and continually improve the retention of individual supporters for future emergency appeals,
- Lead on the production of retention and reporting back materials for individual and community supporters,
- Manage the development and maintenance of specific supporter journeys,
- Develop and oversee the materials and supporter positioning for a light touch and mainly reactive legacy marketing programme for the DEC.
Key responsibilities include:
Strategy and Planning
- Develop and implement the direct marketing retention strategy, ensuring that past learnings are built upon, and new ideas are tested.
- Develop and implement specific audience journeys for segments across both the life cycle of a DEC appeal and between appeals.
- Ensure timely and relevant communications to all direct marketing, community, and legacy audiences on the impact of their donations.
- Build an improved supporter journey strategy for new, repeat, and lapsed donors.
- Lead, design, and monitor the collection of audience insight during appeals.
Fundraising
- Develop the DEC’s donor journeys for individuals and community supporters, monitoring the development of segments and the engagement of repeat donors.
- Provide analysis during and following an appeal of performance to measure and report performance against key indicators and develop recommendations for improving impact in the next appeal.
- Support the stewardship of community fundraisers and groups in conjunction with the Supporter Services team.
Networking and building relationships
- Develop excellent working relationships with the DEC’s suppliers including creative agencies, media agencies, SMS and email suppliers, and the print/mailing house.
- Work with permanent and temporary staff at the DEC during appeals to maximise the success of the appeal.
