The Director of Corporate Partnerships will lead the development of strategic corporate partnerships with key organisations in priority sectors, generating significant income for Kew, influencing and supporting the implementation of nature positive strategies across the business sector and helping to facilitate business voices in influencing key audiences. With your team you will be responsible for building a pipeline of potential partnerships at a variety of levels, including an effective corporate membership scheme, corporate sponsorship and long term project funding.
You will work to lead change across Kew to embrace the full potential of corporate partnerships navigating the organisational and logistical challenges required to deliver long-term transformation. You will be a member of the Development Directorate leadership team and work closely with the Kew Director, Trustees and Development Council to maximise the potential of high-level networks. You will build Kew’s external profile with potential corporate partners, proactively implementing a business development plan and working with key stakeholders such as marketing and comms, science and horticulture to facilitate this. You will carefully steward and grow Kew’s existing corporate partners, foster long term loyal connections.

This role will start at a key time in strategy development and long term planning, as they enter the final phase of their incredibly successful Up Against Time Appeal to replace their two helicopters.
As they enter the final phase of the appeal, having raised £11.5m of their £15m target (with a number of further pledges confirmed) this role will focus on developing the long term Trusts fundraising strategy. As Deputy Head of Philanthropy you will be tasked with considering the opportunities presented by the new 15 year organisational strategy, and contributing to the wider Philanthropy, Partnerships and Events team plans to ensure they have a strong footing as they look to the long term and next 15 years of London's Air Ambulance Charity.
As Deputy Head of Philanthropy you will not only lead on strategy development but also build and develop the Trusts pipeline, leading and developing the Trusts and Prospect Research teams to improve internal processes and influence/respond to upcoming fundraising opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Trusts and Prospect Research teams and programmes through a year of maternity cover, ensuring both areas are in a strong position on the return of the substantive postholder.
- Act as LAAC's Trust and Lead Gift (£500k+) fundraising expert, leading the Trusts and Prospect Research teams to be ambitious and consider the long term funding opportunities for the charity.
- Lead the team through the transition from the Up Against Time Appeal to focus on the new 15 year organisational strategy and opportunities it presents to develop the pipeline for new projects.
- Take ownership of the Trusts, Foundations and Statutory pipeline, leading income generation from these sources with a personal focus on £100k+ opportunities, while informing the organisation's approach to restricted fundraising opportunities.
- Support the development of direct reports and wider Philanthropy, Partnerships and Events team.
Person Specification:
- Strong sector knowledge and technical expertise of Trust fundraising, with experience of securing £100k+ support from trusts, foundations and/or statutory sources.
- Demonstrable experience of developing and fundraising for restricted projects, monitoring income and expenditure budgets.
- Effective pipeline development skills and the ability to support a Prospect Research function to identify new opportunities.

About the role
This is an exciting new post in the Communications Team at Glass Door. Reporting to the Head of Communications, this role will support the delivery of a new paid & organic digital marketing strategy, working closely & collaboratively with both the Comms & Fundraising Teams, as well as co-lead on the delivery of a new website.

About the Role
As a critical member of the strategic leadership team (SLT) for Emmaus UK, the Director of Partnerships and Federation Development will take lead responsibility for ensuring the provision of high-quality support, advice, capacity building and grant-making for federation members in the UK.
The postholder will play a key role in the development of national strategic partnerships and will collaborate with federation members to ensure that federation strategic priorities are delivered and that our colleagues across the federation are able to do their very best work supporting people to overcome homelessness and poverty.
The role will also ensure effective programme and project management of directorate projects and work to embed cross-directorate working and co-operation.
