About you

This role is based with our Wales & Southwest team, and we are looking for someone with particular experience and developed networks across this region. Our successful Enterprise Manager may previously have worked in roles such as Partnerships Manager, Development Manager, Fundraising Manager, Partnerships & Fundraising Manager, and will ideally have good knowledge and confidence in identifying and successfully bidding for project funding via government departments, regional agencies, statutory funders, and charitable trusts. Prior experience of statutory funded active travel schemes is desirable.

Technical:

• A proven track record of developing and writing successful funding bids.
• Knowledge of funding environments, including lottery distributors, key statutory funders, trusts and foundations, charitable trusts.
• Experience of strategic relationship, partnership development and management.
• Innovation and creativity, to develop projects from concept to delivery and to match trust priorities with funding.
• Budget and project management experience with the ability to manage financial risk.
• Experience of financial reporting

General:

• Ability to influence, persuade and negotiation skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills – strong presenter.

Key Tasks

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all high value fundraising activity, including proposals, applications, and donor interactions, and be able to regularly report this activity back to the Head of Philanthropy.

• Manage a portfolio of low-mid level prospects and existing donors, developing clear strategies to cultivate relationships and secure continued philanthropic support of £1,000 to £10,000. Ensure all donors in the assigned portfolio are provided stewardship and take responsibility for contacts and annual work plan.

• Develop and deliver a programme of cultivation, stewardship and recognition low-mid level donors and prospects, proactively seeking opportunities to improve the chances of securing repeat gifts through bespoke communications and consistent stewardship.

• Support the Head of Philanthropy and wider High Value Team with stewardship and cultivation of donors and key contacts. These activities may include virtual events, stewardship events, proposal development, annual reporting, and direct marketing appeals.

• Ensure the upkeep of a database and filing system for all existing and prospective donors within High Value Giving liaising with the Finance and Administrative team to ensure reconciliation with financial record.

• Work closely with the Philanthropy team and other colleagues to maximise all opportunities and support a dynamic, successful, and professional team

• Ensure that data security is maintained and that legal and regulatory requirements are fully complied with.

• Undertake other tasks, when necessary, to achieve the team’s and the organisation’s overall objectives.

 General

• Managing a complex workload with competing demands and deadlines. The role holder will agree objectives and overall priorities with the Head of Philanthropy but is expected to manage unexpected/unplanned work within overall timeframes.

• The post holder is required to work closely and collaboratively with colleagues within the Fundraising Team to ensure the successful delivery of fundraising activities.

• The post holder will require excellent communication and interpersonal skills as you will need to communicate effectively and sensitively, building strong relationships with existing and potential donors.

As our Senior Marketing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in our fundraising strategy. For the other 6 months of the year, you will lead marketing and fundraising projects across Public Income and Engagement to drive us towards Save the Children's goal of raising £60 million by 2030.

You will also lead on the development of multi-channel marketing plans, with a focus on audience, to drive ambitious brand awareness, supporter action, income and loyalty targets including email, display, paid social, direct mail, TV, radio and out of home, across a range of engagement opportunities and propositions (legacies, regular giving, emergencies and mass participation)

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a multi-disciplinary team to attract and engage supporters to drive participation and income generation for Christmas Jumper Day.
• Lead the development of multi-channel marketing plans, with a focus on audience and insight.
• Lead the team's relationship with the media buying agency to buy and optimize media.
• Cultivate collaborative relationships with key partners such as marketing agencies, production companies, and fulfilment agencies, motivating and inspiring them to deliver their best for Save the Children.
• Inspire internal partners and colleagues to focus on raising money around the Christmas Jumper Day campaign.
• Manage team budgets and reporting.
• Support the Deputy Director of Public Income and Engagement to lead fundraising and marketing projects outside the Christmas Jumper Day campaign period.

Key Requirements:

• Significant experience in marketing, including developing complex and integrated multi-channel marketing plans, data analysis, and audience planning.
• Outstanding project management skills with a proven ability to plan and manage activity that delivers complex projects on time and to budget.
• Extensive experience in effectively managing external partners, including working with media agencies, creative agencies, and fulfilment agencies.
• Experience in developing marketing assets to drive engagement and action.
• Experience in developing engaging supporter journeys across channels.
• Ability to provide technical leadership for the organization in delivering marketing across various media types.

Ways of Working:

This new role will work across varied charity management projects to help set up a new UK office for a fast growing medical INGO that has already treated over 13 million patients across Africa!

It will include leading on a broad range of projects that support the set up and management of the UK registered office and will require working autonomously while being part of an experienced and supportive team. Role Context

ALIMA UK is in its start-up phase and is made up of a small team. This period is exciting at times unpredictable.  We need someone reliable who enjoys and has a proven track record of leading and delivering on operational projects for a business or charity while working with senior stakeholders. RESPONSIBILITIES

ORGANISATIONAL DEVELOPMENT

• Experience working for a UK-based charity in an administrative, executive support, finance, fundraising or project management role

We are looking for a Projects and Partnerships Manager to join the team in this exciting role, working with a network of youth charities, where no two days are the same.

About the Role

The role requires a well-structured and highly organised approach, to ensure delivery and reporting is of the highest quality and a creative and proactive approach, to navigate challenges and hold others to account, when needed. The project management aspect of the role requires someone who is an excellent communicator with responsibility to oversee Service Level Agreements (agreed outputs, outcomes and communications) between the organisation and Youth Zones, and their relationships with funders.. About You

• Proven experience leading and motivating teams, ideally having managed volunteers, or a retail team previously
