About the role

This is a great opportunity to lead on the day-to-day delivery of the Breast Cancer Now’s in memory giving programme and play a key role in bringing our 5-year strategy to life.

The role blends relationship-building, administration and project management.

You’ll:

-Foster long‑term, multi‑faceted relationships with people giving in memory, and deliver compassionate, personalised stewardship, so all supporters feel valued.

You’ll work with colleagues across the organisation and help identify opportunities to engage supporters in meaningful ways.

-Maintain the database up to date and drawing on data insights, you’ll help monitor performance, identify trends, opportunities for developments and support improvements to the programme.

-Gain exposure to a broad range of fundraising disciplines such as one‑off donations, regular gifts and community fundraising, and work with both internal and external stakeholders on a range of different projects.

You’re a confident communicator with a natural ability to build strong, meaningful relationships—whether it’s through a warm phone call, a thoughtful email, or an in-person conversation. You understand how to engage and retain supporters by delivering high-quality stewardship and take pride in going above and beyond. You’re highly organised and detail-oriented and thrive in an environment where you’re managing a variety of tasks and multiple deadlines.

Your written communication is both sensitive and compelling, particularly when connecting with individuals who may be sharing personal, and sometimes emotional, experiences.

Connect: North Korea is a fast-growing charity supporting North Korean escapees to build new lives after experiences of systemic discrimination, poverty, and trauma.

Our organisational income has grown consistently year on year since we registered in 2018. We now have a series of multi-year grants in place ensuring that 42% of our income for 2026 is already secured. We are looking to recruit a dynamic Head of Fundraising to lead and deliver income generation as we scale our work in the UK and globally.

This is a rare opportunity to work closely with the CEO and across programme teams to map out our annual fundraising plan, craft compelling cases for support, develop funder relationships, with an aim to securing our funding base year on year. 

Position: Head of Fundraising

Responsible to: Chief Executive Officer

Based at: Our offices in New Malden KT3 with some remote/home working. We will be as flexible as possible to accommodate the right candidate.

Contract: Permanent. Part-time (3 days a week). Flexible hours/days possible.

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 FTE + 5% eligible pension 

Benefits: 28 days holidays exclusive of public holidays pro-rata. We also offer 2 additional days on top of this – 1 recharge day where the whole charity closes and 1 day in the week of a staff member’s birthday.

Role objective

Lead our efforts to grow and diversify CNK’s income across individual giving, trusts and foundations, corporate partnerships, and community fundraising. Diversity our income base by increasing our unrestricted income, ensure organisational sustainability by securing multi-year grants and growing individual and corporate donations and grow our annual income by identifying and building relationships with new donor

• Lead and coordinate all CNK fundraising activity from Trusts and Foundations, corporates and individual supporters;
• Build relationships with major donors, corporates, charitable Trusts and Foundations and other institutional funders;
• Ensure all fundraising meets the Code of Fundraising Practice, safeguarding standards, GDPR compliant and CNK’s values; and
• Report quarterly on fundraising progress to Chief Executive and Board of Trustees

Main responsibilities

In line with our income generation strategy:

· Lead on the strategic planning and implementation of income generation activities to help build sustainability of The Carers’ Centre and its services for 19,600 unpaid carers across Bath and North East Somerset.

· Develop and implement a stewardship programme for donors and funders building support and securing new income for The Carers’ Centre.

· Work collaboratively with colleagues to help deliver The Carers’ Centre vision for carers.

Income generation

· Design and deliver a diverse income generation plan to support philanthropy and fundraising in line with The Carers’ Centre Strategic Plan.

· Co-produce annual philanthropy and fundraising targets and take the lead responsibility to instigate and co-ordinate the activity that will achieve them.

· Build long-lasting relationships with key local philanthropists, donors, and funders.

· Work proactively with colleagues to research, identify and scope a portfolio of compelling projects and proposals that will appeal to donors and funders.

· Work closely with communication colleagues to develop appropriate communications campaigns and activities for different supporter groups.

· Contribute towards the charity’s communications and marketing strategy ensuring fundraising is embedded.

· Develop, maintain, and implement relevant policies and procedures in line with our growth plans.

Line management

· Provide effective line management and support to direct reports to help them maximise their potential and effectiveness.

· Ensure line reports consider their own health and wellbeing.

Reporting to the Senior Supporter Care Manager, you will deliver excellent customer care to supporters and potential supporters of Operation Smile UK. As an integral part of the Supporter Care team, you will successfully support the Individual Giving programme and wider fundraising activities, providing support to ever-increasing income and supporter stewardship for the delivery of increasing levels of unrestricted income for Operation Smile UK.

Key Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for existing supporters and new supporters who respond to our fundraising activities by phone, email, letter or in person, letter, or email delivering outstanding supporter care
• Liaise with supporters in timely communication via email, phone, and mail, with excellent customer care
• Prioritise answering incoming phone calls and escalate any difficult situations/complaints to the Senior Supporter Care Manager
• Support processing incoming phone and postal donations
• Assist with banking and processing incoming/outgoing post
• Be responsible for thanking our supporters, including by letter, email and phone, dispatch of information and fundraising materials
• Enter and maintain accurate records on our Database
• Maintain and assist with all types of donation processing, administration and Database record amendments/records being kept up to date. This will include Gift Aid status and contact consent requests
• Assist with cancelling and amending all types of regular gifts and sending out appropriate letters
• Manage the removal process and consent process
• Assist with sending out problem payment letters
• Following up cancelled regular payments as part of the winback process
• Assist with handling material requests and recording actions on the Database
• Assist with any third-party agency supporter care requests
• Maintain sensitive information and records with appropriate confidentiality

About the Role

This exciting Fundraising and Engagement Officer role will be part of the Fundraising and Engagement team to ensure that the delivery of Mind BLMK’s current and future offer of fundraising and engagement are effectively delivered. As the Fundraising and Engagement Officer you will be responsible for supporting the growth of income across individual, major donors alongside community and corporate fundraising.

In this role you will be responsible for implementing and administrating fundraising and engagement activities, supporting inspiring campaigns, optimising stewardship and attending fundraising events.

As the Fundraising and Engagement Officer you will work closely with the fundraising and engagement team in the planning and development of fundraising initiatives. You will monitor and maintain donor and fundraising data in accordance with the organisations policies and procedures. You will be involved in the planning, implementation of PR, communications, media posting, newsletter, AGM and any other appropriate organisational priorities.

The Role

This new role of Fundraising Manager is a key part of the ongoing work to implement the Cathedral’s strategic plan. Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, the role will be vital in securing sustainable funds to support the Cathedral’s ambitious plans for growth. Main responsibilities include:

• Creating and implementing a comprehensive fundraising strategy
• Leading and developing the existing Patrons Programme
• Developing a pipeline to secure grant funding from trusts and foundations

The Person

We are looking for someone with a proven track record in developing and implementing successful fundraising strategies that deliver financial growth. You should be experienced in working to targets and managing budgets and possess a sound knowledge of fundraising regulations and legislation and GDPR.

We are looking for someone with exceptional communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with a variety of stakeholders. You should also be able to write compelling communications, including applications and proposals.

Previous line management experience is desirable, but most importantly, you should be collaborative, ambitious, and resilient, ready to drive projects forward. This is a diverse role with huge potential to build on historic success and shape the future of Ripon Cathedral!

It will be the first Youth Zone in Yorkshire, part of the phenomenal OnSide network of national Youth Zones changing lives across the UK.

About the Role

Working closely with the Chief Executive and senior leadership team, you'll lead the development and delivery of a bold, creative and high-performing fundraising and communications strategy to generate £1.4m annually.

You'll grow and nurture a portfolio of committed individuals and local businesses (founder patrons). You'll also build new income streams across trusts and foundations, corporate partnerships, and major donor giving.

At the same time, you'll oversee all things brand, PR and communications, with a talented Communications Manager in place to help you raise awareness and build strong community relationships ahead of launch and beyond.

This is a leadership role with legacy. You'll inspire Barnsley's business community, philanthropists and champions to believe in and back the potential of their town's young people.

About You

This role would suit a relationship-led fundraising leader who brings energy, creativity and ambition to their work. You'll be a strategic thinker, a compelling communicator, and a natural connector of people and ideas.

• A proven track record of personally securing five-figure+ gifts from corporates or major donors or equivalent from the commercial sector.

We are looking for an experienced and adaptable Fundraising Manager to join the team at Winning Scotland, helping to drive sustainable income growth at an exciting time for the charity.

Location: Home-based/Scotland with 5 days per month in the Edinburgh office

The Role

As Fundraising Manager, you’ll play a central role in helping Winning Scotland deliver sustainable growth by identifying and securing new income across trusts and foundations, corporate partnerships, statutory and government funding, and public sector contracts.

Working closely with programme leads and the senior leadership team, you’ll research, prioritise, and secure funding opportunities to support the charity’s ambitious growth plans over the next 2–3 years. You’ll also develop strong relationships with funders, write compelling funding applications, and provide excellent stewardship and reporting.

You’ll focus on growing income from institutional and corporate sources, while senior leaders continue to manage high-value individual donor relationships, allowing you to concentrate on developing strong pipelines and managing effective bids.

About You

You’ll be a skilled and motivated fundraiser with a solid understanding of the Scottish and wider UK funding landscape.

You’ll have:

• A proven track record of securing income from trusts, foundations, corporates and/or statutory sources
• Strong bid-writing and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex programme work into persuasive proposals
• Excellent relationship management and stewardship abilities
• The capacity to work independently, manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

Ideally, you will also bring:

• Experience of strategic, high-value fundraising in a small or growing charity
• An understanding of issues affecting young people and youth-focused sectors
• Experience using design tools (e.g. Canva) to create professional proposals and reports
• Knowledge of international funding sources such as the US and Europe

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Governance

• Work with the Board of Trustees to set and deliver the charity’s vision, mission, and strategic priorities.
• Provide clear, evidence-based advice and recommendations to the Board, ensuring effective governance and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Position the charity as a recognised leader in tackling inequality and poverty in the borough, particularly the North Kensington area.
• Maintain financial oversight taking a strategic approach to managing Dalgarno Trust’s finances in a sustainable way – ensuring adequate reserves are maintained.
• Ensure effective short, medium, and long-term financial planning is in place throughout the different levels of the organisation. Provide effective scrutiny by working with Dalgarno Trust’s accountants and finance personnel.

Income Generation & Fundraising

• Lead a sustainable income generation strategy, including accessing trust and foundation fundraising, corporate sponsorships, statutory grants, and social enterprise opportunities.
• Build and maintain relationships with funders and donors to maximise opportunities for growth and diversification of income.
• Ensure effective financial management, monitoring, and reporting of a c.£750k annual budget.

Partnerships & Place-Leadership

• Develop and maintain partnerships with voluntary, public, and private sector organisations to aid joint delivery of services.
• Represent the Dalgarno Trust in local strategic forums, influencing public policy and service design to reflect community needs.
