Responsibilities include overseeing the overall running of Citadel in London, regular monitoring, reporting, budgeting, and supporting four Citadel Co-ordinators in overcoming any local barriers and developing strong local partnerships.

Citadel is a volunteer-led project preventing homelessness by helping people find or sustain their tenancies and establish a home. Volunteers, once recruited, trained and DBS checked are matched with those referred for support. Co-ordinators and volunteers work closely with those referred to establish what matters to them and how best they can support them.

They are searching for a Development Manager (Individual Giving) to join their team.As Development Manager (Individual Giving) the post holder will manage the strategic development of Individual Giving, identifying opportunities to drive growth in this area. The post-holder will oversee the delivery of the organisation's Regular Giving programmes and will also manage relationships with high-level donors to identify and securing major gifts.
Responsibilities in the role:
- Drive acquisition, retention and growth of Individual Giving at all levels with a particular view to growing unrestricted income from this stream.
- Develop and deliver inspiring Regular Giving appeals, understanding the key motivations of our supporters and in line with the strategic objectives of the organisation.
- Lead on the delivery of all aspects of the Patron programme, in particular stewardship of Patrons and supporting the Head of Development in a strategic review of the programme.
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- Significant experience in Individual Giving fundraising.
- Track record of success working with regular giving and Patrons (mid-level giving) programmes
- Experience of proactively managing a portfolio of prospects and donors through moves management.
- High level of proficiency working with standard business software including MS Office packages, and good experience of using CRMs in a fundraising context.

We are looking for an experienced individual giving fundraiser to join the Development and Corporate Partnerships Department based in London. You will raise money for a range of projects and programmes, as well as manage a number of unrestricted income streams including our lottery. You will be a proactive fundraiser who can confidently communicate our impact and plans to our members across the UK and work as part of the wider team. You will be happy to travel to our gardens and shows as needed, working closely with colleagues across the RHS.
Building on your strong experience and knowledge of individual giving programmes, your role will be to help us expand our income and activity plan. This is an exciting time join the RHS as we move ahead with a number of new transformational programmes and seek to increase our fundraising income for a variety of new projects including our scientific research, sustainability projects and new programmes throughout the UK.

Brightside is on a mission to help young people make confident and informed decisions about their future. For over 20 years, we’ve used technology to connect young people facing barriers with inspiring mentors. We deliver online mentoring programmes in collaboration with schools, universities, businesses and charities to provide young people with access to networks, online career information and high-quality mentoring.
Role overview
The Partnership Manager will oversee and deliver account management across our mentoring partnership portfolio. This role involves managing the partner experience across a range of sectors, including higher education, the third sector, schools and corporate partnerships. The post-holder will be responsible for onboarding new partners, supporting them in developing their yearly mentoring plans, engaging in regular communications to ensure we’re on track with our deliverables, and renewing contracts annually. Success in this role will be measured by key performance indicators such as partner satisfaction, partner engagement and meeting renewal income targets.
Key responsibilities
- Onboard new partners and welcoming them to Brightside
- Complete annual mentoring project plans with all partners
- Provide account management for partners to ensure a positive experience
- Coordinate our partner engagement work (such as our partner forums and the partner satisfaction survey)
- Meet regularly with partners to monitor project deliverables and ensure we meet and surpass expectations
- Lead critical partnership meetings, including planning meetings, mid-point reviews and end of contract reviews
- Lead contracting and renewal discussions with partners to achieve renewal income targets
- Manage partner contracts and invoicing
- Lead the recruitment function for our London based mentoring project, working with schools to promote the opportunity to young people
- Create and monitor renewals strategies for each partner
- Identify opportunities for upsells across the portfolio
- Work with partners to identify their critical success factors, and work with the delivery team to realise these
- Maintain our stakeholder register, to ensure we have the right relationships across the portfolio and the Brightside team
- Collaborate with the Senior Programme Manager to manage our approach to risk across the portfolio
- Act as an escalation point for challenges that may arise in projects
- Support the Fundraising team by meeting with prospective partners to generate new business
