We’re on the lookout for a Senior Internal Communications & Engagement Officer who can hit the ground running in our fast-paced team for a 12 month fixed term contract. This role is all about supporting and coordinating the delivery of engaging and timely communications for both our colleagues and members. You’ll be responsible for managing a variety of content across multiple channels, from the staff intranet to email publications. This is an opportunity to truly make an impact by ensuring our internal messages are clear, on-brand, and reach the right audience.

You’ll be working closely with our Internal Communications and Engagement team to gather, write, and edit content that resonates with both staff and members. You'll also have the chance to get involved in producing posters and digital screens, all while ensuring a seamless experience for our internal audiences.
A key part of your role will involve measuring the effectiveness of our communications efforts. You'll be tasked with gathering feedback and providing reports to help refine our approach and ensure that our channels are always working to their full potential. Plus, you’ll help manage our internal communications inboxes, responding to queries and requests from across the organisation with a keen eye for detail and a proactive attitude. If you enjoy a bit of variety, this role will certainly keep you busy with different ad hoc projects and support for internal events as well.
Our ideal candidate is someone with a background in internal communications, ideally with experience in intranet or web publishing systems. If you’ve worked in the charity sector, that’s a bonus. The Head of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) is a key senior member of the finance team and will help shape the strategic management and direction of the team. They will support the Director of Finance and Operations, Senior Leadership Team, Trustees and budget holders to understand and interpret IIED’s finances and play a key role in the long term strategic financial planning process.

The key duties of the Head of Financial Planning & Analysis are as follows:
- Lead on strategic financial reporting to provide a clear picture of the organization’s short- and long-term financial position

- Substantial relevant finance management experience in the not-for-profit sector
- Experience in mapping and analysing processes and identifying and implementing process improvement
- Excellent communication skills and be able to influence at all levels within the organisation

Clinical research is an essential element in ensuring new treatments are rapidly and safely translated to clinical use to transform the lives of people with cystic fibrosis. Nine years ago, the Trust set up an ambitious programme of work to broaden the reach of trials to all people with cystic fibrosis in the UK, the Clinical Trials Accelerator Platform (CTAP). CTAP is a national cystic fibrosis clinical trials network which has created the infrastructure (network of CTAP centres) and funded additional research capacity (trial coordinators) to support NHS Cystic Fibrosis centres to grow their clinical trial portfolio. This in turn has increased the number of clinical trial opportunities for the UK CF community, and improved access to the newest therapies for people living with cystic fibrosis.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Regional Network Coordinator to join the CTAP coordinating team as maternity cover. The postholder will oversee the coordination of the four CTAP regional clinical trial networks which sit within the main CTAP programme. This role will play an important role in overseeing the smooth running of the CTAP regional networks in addition to providing support and guidance relating to the referral of patients for clinical trial participation.
To be the right candidate, you will:
- Have experience of working within the area of clinical trials in some capacity for the NHS, a university, research funder or a commercial sponsor
- Have an in-depth understanding of the clinical research landscape, particularly in the context of a national/disease-specific clinical trials network
- Understand the relevant regulations surrounding clinical trials in the UK

We operate the National Gambling Helpline, provide treatment for anyone who is harmed by gambling, create awareness about safer gambling and treatment, and encourage an effective approach to safer gambling within the gambling industry.
The role
This is a great time to join GamCare as we are growing the reach of our services. We are looking for Gambling Support Practitioners with qualifications or experience in health or social care, and an empathic style to enable people to change their behaviour through skilled intervention.
Crucially, you will ensure that psychosocial, and recovery support interventions are delivered as part of a cohesive recovery plan while working collaboratively with external and partner organisations to achieve positive outcomes for service users.
There will be lots of opportunity to participate in service promotion, networking activities and events to support the visibility of the service, as well as developing relationships with local services and communities to strengthen pathways into the service.
We are looking for an individual to work full-time which will currently include 4 days 9-5pm and 1 day 12-8pm per week (fixed), Monday to Friday.
About you
You should have significant experience in individual client work in the field of addictions, mental health or a social care setting with adults or young people. You should be flexible in using a range of low and high-intensity interventions and modalities including cognitive behavioural tools.
You will be expected to be able to work from home thereby having the space for a confidential setting whilst also being able to travel within the region to attend events and offer localised in person support as required.

Ensure compliance with food hygiene and health & safety regulations, including regular equipment checks and adherence to COSHH and HACCP guidelines. Maintain accurate records for audits and inspections, coordinate meal times with care staff, support kitchen assistants when needed, and report any operational or dietary concerns to the Home Manager.
