The Role

As Community and Trusts Fundraiser, you will be at the heart of our community fundraising efforts while also taking ownership of your fundraising portfolio, focusing on maximising income from Community groups, Individuals, Trusts and Foundations (both UK and international). You'll build and manage your own portfolio of donors, create fundraising initiatives and try new approaches that inspire and encourage community fundraising. You will provide exceptional stewardship to secure ongoing support. Collaboration and adaptability across this small, yet impactful organisation is key, as is a passion for creating positive change.

Your Responsibilities:

· Develop and deliver engaging fundraising campaigns and activities for community groups and individuals.

· Create and manage a calendar of fundraising events and opportunities that engage and inspire participation from community groups

• Build and manage a portfolio of community supporters, trusts and foundations to maximise income and awareness.
• Develop a robust pipeline of funding applications, securing grants from trusts and foundations.
• Develop and nurture relationships with existing and prospective funders, delivering outstanding stewardship. 
• Organise and support community fundraising events, both in-person and online, co-ordinating event logistics, from kit delivery to stock management and ensuring everything runs smoothly and the success of the event is maximised.
• Write impactful persuasive proposals and donor updates that showcase our work.
• Maintain accurate donor records and ensure timely reporting to funders in line with donation conditions while driving unrestricted and restricted income opportunities.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop social media content that engages supporters.
• Work closely with Head of Fundraising to achieve key fundraising objectives.
• Uphold and embed Village Water values and behaviour expectations in your work.
• Ensure communications are in line with the Fundraising Regulator guidelines.
• Act as an ambassador for Village Water, representing the charity at networking events.

Overview

At Operation Smile UK, we work with global colleagues to improve the lives of those living with cleft conditions around the world – by providing surgery and comprehensive care services to patients and strengthening health care systems in the countries where we work. Operation Smile UK’s Partnerships Team works to maximise high-potential income channels such as corporate partnerships, major donors and trusts and foundations. The Partnerships and Philanthropy Officer will play a key role in the team securing critical income from global and national corporate partners and from our network of committed community fundraisers.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Corporate Fundraising

· Take the lead on managing a portfolio of small and medium corporate partners - taking responsibility for all aspects of these partnerships, including communication, staff activities, events, reporting, income collection and acknowledgements

· Provide support to the Senior P&P Manager in activities relating to OSUK’s global corporate partners through managing employee-led activities across the portfolio.

· To manage and develop new initiatives for employee engagement and community participants

· Support on new business acquisition, specifically in creating new avenues for income generation through existing partnerships.

· Responsible for managing inbound enquiries relating to corporate partnerships

· Lead on producing corporate-related social media and communications content

· Maintain orderly upkeep of all relevant records and databases

Community Fundraising

· Lead on the handling of all inbound community fundraising correspondence, including donations received, merchandise and speaking requests

· Develop a strong understanding of fundraising platforms such as Just Giving and Enthuse, maintaining their upkeep and reconciliation with Operation Smile's financial and reporting systems

Additional Responsibilities

· Expand your understanding of Operation Smile’s programmatic work globally, of cleft lip and palate conditions, health system strengthening and the global surgery sector

· Support other areas of the Partnership Team’s work, including events.

Background and purpose

We are the only UK-wide charity for everyone affected by a genetic and acquired bleeding disorder. 

At the Haemophilia Society (THS) we want to empower everyone affected by a bleeding disorder to live life to the full, whatever your stage in life.

One in 2,000 men, women and children in the UK have a diagnosed bleeding disorder, which are a group of conditions, including haemophilia and von Willebrand disorder, that result when the blood cannot clot properly. 

As many as a third of bleeding disorder diagnoses have no known family history and can be the result of a random gene mutation. This means a bleeding disorder diagnosis can come completely out of the blue.

THS brings together people with bleeding disorders and their families to share experiences and understand more about how to live well with a bleeding disorder. Together, we can all make a difference.

About the role

We’re incredibly lucky to have a generous and dedicated community who are always looking for new ways to support our work. We are looking for a passionate fundraiser who can take ownership of our community fundraising and empower our members and supporters in their fundraising ventures. You’ll act as the face of THS for people looking to raise money in a variety of wonderful ways – ensuring they have what they need to be as successful as possible. This will include managing a number of key events such as the London Marathon, Ride London and Swim Serpentine. 

This role would be ideal for someone with 2-3 years’ experience and looking to take the next step in their fundraising career. Community Fundraising

Community Alcohol Partnerships (CAP) is looking to engage the services of a results-oriented consultant with great people skills to set up CAP projects in high harm areas.

About Us

CAP sets up and supports local partnerships that aim to reduce alcohol harm in children and young people, improve their health and well-being and enhance their communities. Our mission is to create an alcohol-free childhood for all children and young people.

Role Overview

The successful applicant will have a track record of building effective partnerships, the people and communication skills to involve and engage a wide range of local stakeholders and the leadership and project management skills to support projects through each phase of their lifecycle including baseline evaluation, action plan delivery, post intervention evaluation and maintenance/sustainment. After a short familiarisation period the successful applicant will be expected to oversee fast-track development of new CAPs in priority areas and take responsibility for all aspects of their management with minimal supervision.

A key requisite of the role will be the ability to forge effective public/private sector partnerships between statutory agencies, schools, youth charities and retailers following the CAP model and evaluation framework. The successful applicant may come from a police, public health, education, local authority or other relevant background.

Key Responsibilities

· Proactively identify opportunities for new CAPs and facilitate set up of new CAPs in priority areas.

· Ensure that all new CAP projects carry out appropriate and timely interventions and evaluate all activity in line with the CAP evaluation toolkit – including a baseline and post intervention evaluation.

· Raise the profile of CAPs in the North East of England and ensure that their impact is recognised by key stakeholders.

Specific duties to include the following:

o Represent CAP at all operational meetings.

o Ensure that Retail of Alcohol Standards Group (RASG) member companies play a full delivery role in each CAP where they operate as businesses.

o Liaise as appropriate with strategic leads within local enforcement authorities and other partner organisations to initiate and complete agreed actions.

o Encourage all projects to achieve positive local media coverage including via social media and regional news/broadcast media.

o Ensure that all projects carry out as a minimum a baseline (pre-CAP) evaluation and post intervention evaluation following the CAP evaluation framework and project management survey tools.

o Produce a monthly progress report on all schemes and pipeline activity.

o Attend and participate in regular CAP update meetings on Microsoft teams (x12 pa).

o Assist with event planning and profile-raising opportunities such as MP visits to CAP projects.

Skills, attributes and experience

• Essential to the role will be the ability to persuade key stakeholders at local and national level of the need to address underage drinking problems and to facilitate effective and dynamic local partnerships involving any/all of the following sectors: local authorities, education, child protection, social services, public health, police, retailers and licensing.

• Great people skills with the ability to build consensus and motivate partners to play a role in timely delivery of an agreed action plan.

Remuneration: Consultancy fee of £320 per day depending on experience. Work will depend on ability to generate interest in setting up new CAPs but we anticipate as a guideline engaging a minimum of 3 days of consultancy per week. All reasonable and agreed travel expenses will be paid in line with invoice arrangements.

Churches Conservation Trust (CCT) is the national charity caring for historic churches at risk. To oversee the Sports and Community events team, developing and diversifying each department, maintaining a high standard of relationship fundraising, managing and setting team’s yearly budgets with the Head of Public Fundraising.

Sports and Community Fundraising
1. Oversee the team to deliver the Sports and Community fundraising strategy.
2. Oversee the delivery of the Sports events portfolio.
3. Maintain, develop and diversify to maximise ROI.
4. Oversee the relationship management of high value fundraisers.
5. Research into audience insights and analysis and implement change where required.
6. Collaborate with other fundraising revenue streams to enhance supporter
experience.
7. Maintain a high standard of relationship fundraising across the departments.
8. Manage relationships effectively with key stakeholders.
9. Monitor KPIs and objectives and ensure these are reported on regularly, identifying
problems and agreeing remedial steps.
10. Prepare and deliver presentations when necessary to a variety of audiences.
11. Work collaboratively across departments.
12. Develop new or update guidelines or procedures where needed.
13. Keep up to date records of sports events on our database (Salesforce).
14. Interrogate the database looing for efficiencies or patterns that could improve the
supporters experience and/or support fundraising.
15. Monitor current fundraising environment and trends to identify new fundraising.

This role will lead an ambitious team that is empowered to innovate and refresh the community fundraising strategy, making a lasting impact across challenge events, in-memory giving and third-party fundraising. They will also form part of a dedicated leadership team to build visibility and engagement across the Royal Brompton and Harefield Hospitals, as well as deepening relationships amongst an established base of high-value community supporters.  

What you’ll do:

• Lead and grow the charity’s community fundraising programme, overseeing an established team of 4 to ensure exceptional supporter experience.
• Develop and implement a multi-year fundraising strategy with clear KPIs, collaborating with the Director of Fundraising & Marketing, Head of Philanthropy & Partnerships and Head of Marketing & Communications to deliver sustained income growth across the Charity. 

• Drive innovation across challenge events, in-memory giving and supporter care, horizon-scanning for new trends, opportunities and propositions to maximise ROI.

• Collaborate with senior colleagues to build visibility and support across the Charity’s partner hospitals.
• Strengthen stewardship and supporter journeys for high-value community supporters, working with philanthropy colleagues to deepen relationships.

What we’re looking for:

• A proven track record of delivering and growing successful community & public fundraising programmes, with a track record of developing new fundraising products to drive income growth.
• Experience of leading, motivating and developing fundraising teams.
• Strong background in strategy development, budgeting and income forecasting.
• Excellent relationship-building and communication skills across diverse audiences.
• Skilled at developing compelling supporter journeys and excellent stewardship.
• A strong track record of delivery across challenge events, third-party fundraising and in-memory giving.
• Confident in problem-solving, decision-making and balancing short and long-term goals.

About The Role

SAVE Britain’s Heritage is looking for a proactive and collaborative Heritage Engagement Manager to strengthen our support for communities campaigning to save historic buildings. 

You’ll take the lead in developing and managing SAVE’s public-facing resources — including the Buildings at Risk Register, ACT NOW! Toolkit and Building of the Month — ensuring they are accessible, impactful and widely used. A key part of the role is working directly with community campaigners, volunteers and students, providing advice and support to help them run effective campaigns, and sharing success stories across SAVE’s networks. 

Working closely with our small team — and alongside our Casework Officer — you’ll help ensure SAVE’s campaigning tools are closely aligned with our strategic aims, from audience development and sector leadership to new partnership opportunities. You’ll also coordinate the annual launch of the Buildings at Risk list, deliver regional engagement activities, and build partnerships with universities and professional networks to foster collaborative initiatives. 

We’re looking for someone with knowledge of planning, conservation and the built environment, proven experience supporting or enabling community groups, and strong communication and project management skills. Experience of partnership development, volunteer coordination are also valuable.
