About the Opportunity
We are looking for an inspiring and strategic leader to join our People Directorate Leadership team as the Head of Involvement at Alzheimer’s Society. This pivotal role will focus on deepening our understanding of the lived experiences of those affected by dementia and driving the development and delivery of our Involvement Strategic Plan. You will empower people affected by dementia, co-producing initiatives, and sharing their invaluable experiences, ensuring inclusion and equity in all aspects of our work. 
 
As Head of Involvement, you’ll lead a dynamic team, collaborating across the organisation and with external partners to influence the wider dementia sector. This is a unique opportunity to make a tangible impact, shaping policies and practices that directly affect the lives of people living with dementia and their carers. You will have the chance to be a thought leader, promoting and raising the profile of involvement activities that truly make a difference.

What You’ll Focus On

- Leadership, Culture Transformation & Strategy: Lead the development and execution of Alzheimer’s Society’s Involvement Strategic Plan, ensuring meaningful, impactful, and inclusive involvement of people affected by dementia.
- Inclusion & Diversity: Champion equity, diversity, and inclusion, creating opportunities to amplify the voices of underrepresented communities and people affected by Dementia.
- Team Leadership: Provide day-to-day leadership to the Involvement team, building a high-performing culture prioritising wellbeing, learning, and accountability.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Foster and maintain trusted, high-impact relationships with stakeholders across health, social care, and the third sector.
- Collaboration & Influence: Collaborate across directorates and with external partners, ensuring that involvement is embedded in all organisational and strategic initiatives.
- Impact Measurement: Use data and insights to clearly articulate the impact of involvement on operations, strategic direction, and culture change.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Impact and Evaluation expert to join our growing team. The role involves managing a portfolio of VCSE clients and providing comprehensive support to their monitoring, evaluation and learning (MEL) needs. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of MEL methodologies, data collection techniques, data analysis, report writing, stakeholder engagement, and a passion for improving social outcomes through evidence-based evaluation.

Charity Fundraising Ltd provides a comprehensive range of fundraising, strategic consultancy and evaluation services to Charities and other not-for-profit organisations. Established in 2000, Project and Programme Evaluation and MEL support has grown to become a core component of our service offer. We work with lots of amazing charities, both local and national, small and large, across the UK, covering themes such as: Homelessness; addiction; youth; community; disability; mental health; minoritised groups; medical conditions; heritage; environment and more.

Main Duties:

About the role

We’re looking for a Fundraising Engagement Manager with great personality and team ethic to join our Regional Fundraising team.

This is a role of variety, opportunity and innovation, and we are looking for someone who embraces change and constantly strives to achieve more.

You will maximise income for Young Live vs Cancer by coaching our supporters to reach their goals, whilst seeking out new fundraising opportunities for your geographical area. This role sits within the ‘Regional Engagement’ team and we need someone with natural customer service skills who wants to deliver a legendary experience to all of their supporters. Your team of supporters will range from volunteers and individuals, to groups and local corporates.

The West Midlands and North Wales regions are areas filled with some of our most committed supporters, but there is still so much opportunity to grow corporate support across the counties. Our Social Workers support families from Birmingham hospitals and out in the community in North Wales, so building relationships with these teams are a must.

Role Overview

This role contributes to the delivery of the key objectives of the Marketing and Communications team:

• To increase awareness of Global Fund for Children’s work (the number of people who ‘see’ and ‘think’ about our work).
• To increase the number of opted-in email subscribers.
• To convert supporters from people who ‘do’ (follow us on social media, sign up to the mailing list) to people who ‘care’ (fundraise, donate, take an action, share and create user-generated content).

You will be responsible for creating high quality, engaging and original content for various channels, including reels, carousels and posts for Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn. You will be keen to develop and establish new communities on other channels as the social media landscape changes.  Translating the work of our grassroots partners and GFC staff into powerful social media narratives, you will produce content that is aligned with our mission and ensure that we are maximising the potential of our digital channels to grow our supporter base and build a growing global movement.

You will collaborate with graphic designers, videographers, various digital agencies and colleagues around the world on a daily basis in undertaking your role coordinating campaigns and our daily social media schedule.

You should have a passion for staying up to date with industry trends and innovations, a track record of creating content aligned with cultural moments and a knowledge of how popular culture can drive social change. You will be skilled in producing viral content and driving actions and donations through social media.

To that end, you will also play a role in building relationships with our growing network of Global Ambassadors who use their networks and influence to raise the profile of our work and inspire their communities to take action. You will also provide support in managing relationships with our Global Ambassadors and other key influencers to maximise content opportunities and community building.

You will be focused on results and data. You will understand our key audiences and community building objectives and play a key role in growing the brand and profile of GFC and GFC leaders. Position Responsibilities

Social Media Management and Digital Content Creation

• Support the execution of an integrated strategy for our social media channels including leading on content planning and creation, posting and analysis.
• Staying on top of trends and learning from analytics to create compelling and engaging content that meets agreed KPIs.
• Develop and produce high-quality multimedia content for various platforms, including social media, websites and email campaigns.
• Edit raw footage into finished videos using industry-standard software, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines.
• Support on digital ads delivery.
• Support in managing relationships with digital agencies.
• Support other teams across GFC to use social media as a method to engage and communicate with key audiences and stakeholders. 
• Work with colleagues on managing third party specialists (freelancer or agency) to maximise our website maintenance and development, digital projects, paid advertising to ensure good return on investment and that objectives are met on time and on budget.

Email Marketing

•  Act as social media content lead for major campaigns and fundraising activities
• Recommend and execute social media strategies to achieve fundraising and campaign objectives and KPIs. 
• Support the delivery of the Marketing and Communications team email marketing programme to meet agreed open and click-through rate KPIs.
• Support the team to build, design and send acquisition and retention emails using the email distribution system (Pardot).
• Support the review and analysis of email marketing results, report and evaluate overall and specific campaign success.

Global Ambassador and Influencer outreach and support

• Lead on delivering the Global Ambassador engagement strategy and influencer engagement activities.
•  Support the cultivation of existing and new influencers and Global Ambassadors. Work across teams to coordinate asks/outreach and ensure relationship managers are briefed and supported to deliver cultivation plans.
• Work with colleagues across the organisation to identify new potential celebrity supporters and influencers, develop one-pagers and coordinate sign-off process and develop recruitment plans to bring them on board.

Project management

• Lead and co-lead specific digital campaigns and projects throughout the year.
• Manage and catalogue digital assets (photos, case studies and videos) and upload them to digital asset management system.
•  Along with your colleagues, make sure that ‘Safer Communication’ and safeguarding are at the heart of all our asset collection and creation. Undertake your work in line with the safeguarding policy and best practice for marketing and communications work.

Terms and Conditions

Salary: This role is open to candidates from any location. If the candidate is based in the UK, the salary will be c. £50,000

Terms: Full-time contract, home-based with attendance from time to time at the UK office in central London when necessary or requested to deliver work plans. 

Weekly hours: 35 hours per week

Flexible Working Location: This position is open to candidates from any location, but you must be able to collaborate easily, on a daily basis, with key colleagues (currently UK, Spain, Kenya) in the Marketing and Communications team.

Holidays: 30 days annual leave and eight public holidays. The basic annual leave allowance increases to 35 days after four years continuous employment.

Aims:

• Ensure every Emergency Department and Critical Care unit has a suitable bereavement suite
• Ensure that bereavement boxes are available at each of these hospitals
• Ensure that immediate bereavement support is available for all affected by the sudden death of a child or young person
• Provide a professional counselling service and other therapies for those affected by the sudden death of a child or young person
• Provide support to individuals who witness the sudden death of a child or young person
• Provide support and training to professionals from any sector who may be affected by the sudden death of a child or young person
• To advocate and campaign on behalf of suddenly bereaved families

2wish Cymru and 2wish:

2wish has been established since 2012 and has grown from strength to strength. During this time, we have worked tirelessly to embed our service and ensure that the offer of support is made at the point of death.

We offer an immediate, consistent, high-quality and compassionate service to all individuals affected by the sudden and unexpected death of a child or young person aged 25 and under in Wales. We work in partnership with professionals who refer into the charity on behalf of the families, so they don’t have to trawl through the internet for an organisation who may, or may not, be able to support. We provide immediate, and ongoing, support and are here for as long as our families need us.

This is a pivotal moment to join our team as we strengthen and grow our fundraising presence across Wales and now England. We’re seeking a strategic, visionary Head of Fundraising who can lead and inspire a high-performing team, drive sustainable income growth across multiple streams, and embed a culture of ambition within the team. Main duties:

Leadership and Management

• Act as line manager to the Fundraising Managers and Business Development and Partnerships Manager.

Each day you will travel to different venues, set up an attractive fundraising stand, and spend the day actively engaging with members of the public, spreading awareness about our conservation efforts and inspiring individuals to become lifelong members. 

Don't worry if you're not a wildlife expert yet – you will be provided with comprehensive training to equip you with all the knowledge you need. Plus, you'll enjoy the added perk of a company van, with fuel and parking costs paid for.

What's even better? You'll have the flexibility to choose a contract between 3 to 5 days per week, and enjoy the stability of a set salary, rather than working on commission. About You

What we need from you:

• A passion for conservation (no prior knowledge required);
• Resilience
• Ability to work to targets;
• A driver's licence valid for use in the UK;
• Happy to work 3 out of 4 weekends;
• Happy to travel (on average) an hour away from home each day;
• Willingness to work outdoors and independently;
• Fundraising/Sales and Customer Service experience (desirable).

Whether you're from a hospitality, customer service, sales, or volunteering background, we're more interested in your negotiating/storytelling skills and enthusiasm than your previous experience.
