The Role
We're seeking a passionate and strategic Programme Manager to join our entrepreneurial team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a creative, fluid environment and is excited about building programmes from the ground up and developing meaningful relationships with a growing network of partner schools as we scale our impact. This is a London-based role, primarily working at the charity’s headquarters in West London.

Role starts from September 2025. 

What You'll Own

• Building relationships with existing school partners and identifying and onboarding new school partners
• Designing and leading innovative volunteering programmes
• Monitoring and collating impact from the charity’s programmes and refining the charity’s impact data collection

Key Responsibilities

Programme Delivery

• Promoting the charity’s work with new school and community partners and onboarding new schools
• Preparing proposals and designing and organising volunteering programmes with partner schools.
• Leading the programme delivery across a range of activities, including trips, clubs, giving back days and one-off events an projects
• Recording event data on the charity’s CRM
• Ensuring the safety and compliance of all TimeGivers’ activities including conducting risk assessments and  ensuring adequate staffing levels

Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning

• Compiling termly/ end of year school impact reports
• Collating impact from all school partners
• Liaising with external impact consultants as required, refining the charity’s metrics, impact data and collection

Finance and Fundraising

• Preparation and ownership of event/programme budgets
• Issuing donation requests and receipts to the charity’s partners.
• Recording and monitoring expenditure for all programme activities, liaising with the charity’s finance team when required
• Liaising with the Fundraising team and assisting with programme related grant applications

The services offer brief evidence-based individual and group interventions to address moderate wellbeing needs largely using CBT-based treatment, trauma informed and Mentalization approaches. What you’ll do 
As a Wellbeing Practitioner you will work in partnership with schools, children and families to assess and respond to the psychological needs of children experiencing social, emotional, mental health or behavioural difficulties through undertaking assessments and providing interventions. The post-holders will also: contribute to workshops, support to school staff in the identification of mental health needs of children and accessing appropriate resources; and actively contribute to outcome monitoring and service improvement. You will build relationships with peer/senior members of staff, service users, partners, other services, schools, commissioners, as well as other external agencies with families being the main point of contact. You will also deliver consultation, training, and workshop to non-mental health staff, such as teachers and social workers with other clinicians in the service.

What you’ll bring 
You will have a qualification in psychology or other discipline related to mental health to deliver evidence-based interventions for children and young people.

Essential skills and experience:

• Experience of working therapeutically, implementing interventions and using routine outcome measures in therapy with children and you people in community or school settings including Looked After Children and young people;
• Experience of working cross-culturally as well as thinking about cultural issues in relation to clinical practice;
• Experience of maintaining appropriate records and have good awareness of confidentiality and current childcare and safeguarding legislation, policy and practice;
• Ability to form good working relationships in a multi-disciplinary setting and work independently where necessary;
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively about complex issues both verbally and in writing with different stakeholders;
• Ability to manage own workload and prioritise conflicting deadlines;
• Commitment to engage with and use clinical supervision and line management supervision.

Surviving Economic Abuse (SEA) is the only UK charity dedicated to raising awareness of economic abuse and transforming responses to it.

Since our founding in 2017, we’ve proudly campaigned successfully for the recognition of economic abuse in UK law and influenced wide-ranging systemic change to transform responses to it. This is a critical time for SEA. With a bold three-year strategy now in place, we’re looking for an experienced income-generation leader to oversee and diversify our income streams — across high-net-worth giving, corporate partnerships, trusts and foundations, and earned income through consultancy and training. Last year we launched an exciting partnership with Nike’s Social and Community Impact team. As a Youth Practitioner, you will help us to scale our Schools Programme. You’ll deliver our programmes across schools in East London, aiming to engage more young people in movement and running.

The Role

We are looking for a Youth Practitioner to work alongside the Youth Programme Team to develop and deliver our Nike funded Schools Programme targeted at Year 7 and 8 young people (age 11-13) across East London.

Main Duties:

• Deliver fun and engaging Outrunners sessions at our partner schools to young people aged 11-13, alongside PE teachers. 

• Manage relationships with partner teachers and SLT at our partner schools.

• Work with the Youth Programme Manager and other Youth Practitioners to design and deliver holistic movement programmes with a focus on running, targeted at 8-18 year olds. 

• Ensure safeguarding procedures are upheld for all young people. 

• Undertake administration tasks such as ensuring evaluation forms are completed, uploading data to our CRM system and planning sessions.

• Complete any other business required by management and pitch in to help with other tasks at busy times during the year.

This job is for you if: 

• You have experience of working with young people and their families 

• You have experience delivering youth programmes targeted at young people with proven successful outputs

• You have relevant youth work experience or a relatable youth work qualification (please note - a youth work qualification is only a desirable criteria) 

• You can develop strong working relationships with colleagues and teachers within schools

• You have a working understanding of safeguarding children and young people and how to maintain appropriate professional boundaries

About the role

Key responsibilities

Programme & Project leadership

· Support & lead on the design, development and delivery of new and existing programmes and events aligned with the charity’s strategic objectives

· Work closely with Head of Programmes and other departments to translate strategy into bold, creative actions that centre women's voices and lived experience

· Work closely with Head of Programmes and other departments to embed co-production principles across all programme initiatives/ co-produce initiatives with participants and stakeholders, ensuring relevance and impact.

· Initiate and conduct research into topics including public health, gender inequality, and women’s health to inform and inspire programme development.

· Facilitate and host workshops and group sessions; hold inclusive and safe spaces for women, while supporting others (e.g., volunteers, project members) to take on facilitation roles themselves.

· Proactively bring forward ideas, test new approaches, and continuously improve the effectiveness of the charity’s work.

· Collaborate across departments, drawing on the full range of team skills and perspectives to identify opportunities and create programmes that are innovative and cohesive.

· Support with the design and management of frameworks for monitoring and evaluating programme outcomes, using tools such as Theory of Change and wellbeing indicators (e.g., WEMWBS).

· Gather and analyse data and feedback (qualitative and quantitative) from all stakeholders to inform adaptive programme delivery and report to funders.

· Produce high-quality reports, case studies, and evidence to demonstrate impact to funders and inform future work.

Marketing & Communications

· Work with Head of Programmes and Marketing teams to highlight the success and stories emerging from programme work.

· Write blogs, contribute to content creation, and ensure programme outcomes are shared with wider audiences in compelling, accessible ways.

· Ensure feedback and participant quotes are used meaningfully to build visibility and engagement.

· Ensure that all relevant programme information — including upcoming activities, events, and opportunities — is communicated clearly and in a timely manner to the appropriate teams or platforms, to support strong marketing, effective recruitment, and maximum engagement.

People Management

· Line manage staff, volunteers and project facilitators, providing clear expectations, supportive supervision, and development opportunities.

Funding & Finance

· Develop and monitor programme budgets and work with the Head of Programmes to report against spend.

· Manage relationships with funders and corporate partners, reporting on outcomes and impact.

Policy, Safeguarding & Organisational Development

• Be an active contributor to the charity’s safeguarding team, playing a role in creating safe, inclusive spaces for all participants and staff.
• Support the implementation of all organisational policies — not only by adhering to them but by actively identifying areas for improvement, sharing feedback, and contributing to policy development.
• Stay up to date with best practice in safeguarding, boundaries, mental health support, and inclusive, trauma-informed practice, and help ensure these are embedded in programme delivery and team culture.

Data Protection, administration and programme coordination

• Oversee the secure collection and storage of data, ensuring full compliance with GDPR.
• Implement and manage CRM systems relevant to programme delivery.
• Ensure the smooth, effective and compliant delivery of all programmes, activities, and events, with a strong focus on quality, coordination, and attention to detail.
• Act as a key contact for programme/project enquiries and coordinate logistics such as booking facilitators, venues, equipment, and refreshments.
• Liaise with participants, facilitators, and volunteers before, during and after programme delivery to ensure a seamless and supportive experience.
• Ensure all relevant paperwork and digital documentation — including EDI monitoring forms, feedback, and volunteer information — is completed, stored securely, and remains compliant with GDPR and organisational standards.
• Manage relationships with external facilitators, including onboarding, contracts, payment processing, and quality assurance.
• Coordinate across departments (e.g. marketing, community engagement, operations) to ensure strong internal communication and the effective promotion and delivery of all programmes.
• Maintain accurate programme records, track progress against plans, and ensure that systems are in place for smooth programme operations.

We have just finalised an exciting new three year strategy to drive impact at scale for victim-survivors. Our operations team is led by the Chief Operations Officer (COO) and includes the finance and bookings & venue teams. This is a newly created role that will report directly to the COO and work closely with the wider operations team.

Scope of role

The role supports the delivery of our IT, facilities, health and safety across operations. They act as the first point of contact with outsourced providers and co-ordinate any work related to these areas.
The role is in place to support the project management and delivery of a set of work programs and there is a level of autonomy to make decisions on a project / work area basis within an agreed framework to deliver.
The role will hold the IT budget, and support COO with facilities budget; thus it is expected that there is a good understanding of the budgets to understand constraints and opportunities. The role can make spending decisions up to £2,000.
This role is designed to allocate approximately 60% of the focus on core IT functions and 40% on facilities and operational oversight including procurement.
They will be expecting to advise COO and wider SMT on IT and Operations related plans for the year.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities

Information Technology & Systems

• Be responsible with the support of the COO and wider SMT with all IT related strategy including procurement and streamline of new IT service provider/s. Including setting up KPIs’ and using these to assess performance.
• Manage the setup of new staff – including the procurement of equipment required for the role – this includes all communication tools.
• Managing the relationship and being the key point of contact with the technology suppliers and technology support providers.
• Identifying cost savings/efficiencies in the tech stack.
• Supporting IT KIT refresh plans and purchase, this includes audit of needs and vendor negotiations and lifecycle planning with the COO.
• Leading on regular assessment of IT and systems needs for all services and administrative staff.
  Facilities, Health and Safety & General Administration
• Act as the main point of contact with our property management company. Work with the COO to escalate issues.
• Book in contractors and maintain all required documentation in conjunction with other key stake holders (property manager/agent).
• Be the escalation point for maintenance issues, liaising with the property management company to make sure that issues are dealt with in a satisfactory manner.
• Work with H&S consultants and property managers to ensure all relevant training is planned for and carried out and Risk assessments are being completed and used.
• Work with HR to ensure that all relevant training is planned for and carried out.
• Maintain records for all mandatory tests in conjunction with our property agents.
• Liaise with the Events and Venue Manager to ensure building management is always in place, keyholding, security etc.
• Ensure smooth operations of front of house – including reception and security rotas and arranging additional cover as needed for events.

Projects

• Manage ad hoc projects on behalf of the operations team; such as refurbishments, implementation of printer management.

General

• Building good working relationships across the organisation
• Representing Toynbee Hall to external audiences
• Developing an open and ‘critical friend’ dialogue within our programmatic work
• Undertaking any other appropriate responsibilities that may arise such as top up of franking machines, and general administrative orders as needed.
