• To lead the team to meet income targets through the delivery of an engaging Events portfolio
• To lead the development and implementation of plans, marketing materials, multi-channel campaigns and supporter journeys for Event participants
• To Manage and inspire the Events Managers and wider team

• Previous experience in leading a high-performing Events team
• Proven ability of creating annual budgets and regular reporting of income and expenditure
• Proven ability in developing over-arching plans for multi-channel (especially digital) Events marketing campaigns and supporter journeys

Playing a key part in managing and developing client relationships, this role is ideal for someone who thrives on building relationships. It’s a pivotal role with a focus on diversifying and increasing our income, identifying new business opportunities whilst ensuring the sales strategy is aligned with charity goals.

This is a visible, field-based role with a requirement to travel across the UK, working closely across the charity with other team members and externally with our partners, ensuring efforts are aligned, providing feedback to influence our product and service offerings.

We are looking for an ambitious new Legacy Giving Lead – someone who brings a passion for hospice care and wants to play a part in growing Legacy Giving at the Hospice. On average, we receive £1 million a year in legacy income but we are keen to grow and sustain this in the future.

This is a critical role that will work with colleagues across the Hospice to raise awareness of legacies and you will contribute your expertise to provide top-tier stewardship to our wonderful legators.

The opportunity...

This is a critical role that will develop and grow a high-performing Legacy Giving programme at The Hospice of St Francis.

You will personally identify, cultivate and steward legacy pledgers through an inspiring engagement programme that both raises awareness of legacies, encourages new pledgers and shows the impact they have on the Hospice’s services.

With a solid understanding of the administration of wills, you will liaise with executors and professional advisors and advise colleagues and the Board on best practice legacy administration.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Legacy Giving specialist to curate a new legacy programme, building on previous work, to grow income for the future.

The must haves:

• Fundraising Success: At least five years’ experience of delivering a Legacy Giving programme with success in driving acquisition and relationship management
• Technical expertise: Practical understanding of the practical implications of legal and financial aspects of wills
• Driving awareness and engagement: Experience of developing and executing legacy awareness initiatives internally and externally
• Systems and processes: using client relationship management systems, tracking KPIs and managing projects
• Proven expertise in relationship building internally and externally

The it would be great to haves:

• Experience working with professional advisors such as lawyers, accountants and wealth managers
• Knowledge of regular/mid-value or in-mem giving

As Scheme Manager, you’ll be at the heart of your Peabody community, playing a crucial role supporting the practical needs and wellbeing of residents.  You’ll actively work with residents in the management of their self-contained flat, developing and improving Peabody’s service to them and ensuring we take full account of our older residents’ needs. 

Success in this role requires your presence at the sheltered housing scheme 3 days a week, Monday, Wednesday and Friday with flexible hours.

At SportsAid we exist to encourage, enable and empower the next generation of athletes to achieve their ambitions in sport and life. For decades, we have been side by side with Britain’s greatest emerging sporting talent, from Mo Farah to Jessica Ennis-Hill to Ade Adepitan, Paula Radcliffe and so many others to give them vital support before they became Olympian and Paralympian stars.

Without our support, a lot of our most talented sporting prospects would drop out as the demands of pursuing their dreams are too often impossible barriers to overcome. 

Role Overview 

The Athlete Learning and Development Manager will design and coordinate a comprehensive learning and development programme for emerging athletes, their parents and caregivers, and alumni. This will be delivered both in person and online. 

This is an exciting time for SportsAid as we expand the support we offer beyond financial assistance, building on the foundations already in place. As part of our evolving approach, we are strengthening the educational resources available to them, ensuring they have access to the guidance and tools they need to thrive both on and off the field. 

The role focuses on identifying athlete-led needs, curating training and workshop programmes, and working with external trainers and providers to deliver impactful sessions that best support SportsAid’s beneficiaries. 

A key aspect of the role is developing educational and training content for the new online community engagement platform we are developing. You will ensure content aligns with SportsAid’s objectives while meeting the priorities of partners funding dedicated hubs within the platform, which will provide training and development content in specific focus areas. You will also help adapt training sessions into engaging, shareable online resources to maximise participation and impact. 

Additionally, you will play a crucial role in planning workshop programmes for key events such as SportsAid Live, ensuring sessions are engaging, relevant, and tailored to the needs of attendees. 

This is a unique opportunity to shape SportsAid’s athlete development strategy, creating a collaborative, engaging, and needs-led programme that makes a lasting impact. 

Key Responsibilities 

Programme Development 

• Develop and coordinate a holistic learning and development programme for athletes, parents, and caregivers, addressing key areas such as financial literacy, mental wellbeing, career readiness, and communication skills. 

• Identify athlete-led needs and curate relevant educational training programmes, ensuring they align with the challenges faced by young athletes. 

• Build and maintain relationships with external trainers and subject matter experts, ensuring content meets SportsAid’s high standards and is tailored to beneficiary needs. 

• Work with trainers and providers to shape session content, ensuring clarity, relevance, and engagement for athletes and their support networks. 

• Develop structured training strands with corporate partners that align with partnership agreements and engagement objectives.

• Oversee the development of digital training content to enhance learning and engagement for our online community. 

Training Coordination and Resource Development 

• Coordinate the delivery of training programmes by external trainers through in-person workshops and online webinars. 

• Develop bite-sized digital resources from training materials to be used on our new online community engagement platform, ensuring accessibility and engagement. 

• Ensure that training content aligns with corporate partnership agreements, such as the RBC initiative, and meets funder expectations for educational outcomes. 

• Coordinate logistics for training sessions, including scheduling, facilitator briefings, and content alignment with SportsAid’s objectives. 

• Ensure training materials and sessions are inclusive and tailored to diverse audiences. 

Engagement and Feedback 

• Engage with athletes, parents, and caregivers to gather feedback on training sessions and resources, ensuring the programme evolves to meet their needs.

• Foster an inclusive and collaborative learning environment that encourages peer-to-peer engagement and shared experiences. 

Evaluation and Reporting 

• Evaluate the impact of the training programme on athletes’ personal and professional development, using data to inform future improvements. 

• Provide regular reports to senior leadership and funders, demonstrating the programme’s outcomes and alignment with organisational goals. 

• Stay informed about trends in athlete education, learning delivery, and digital engagement to ensure SportsAid’s approach remains innovative and impactful. 

Person Specification 

Essential Skills and Experience 

• Proven experience in developing and managing learning and development programmes, including working with external trainers or subject matter experts. 

• Strong project management skills, with the ability to balance multiple priorities and deliver high-quality outcomes to deadlines. 

• Excellent relationship-building and communication skills, with experience working across teams, organisations, or sports. 

• Experience in curating and shaping educational/training content, ensuring it aligns with audience needs and engagement objectives. 

• Experience developing digital learning resources and ensuring effective content delivery on online platforms.

Desirable Skills and Experience

Hours of work: Part-time position, approx. 28 working hours a week (4 days per week), some evening and weekend work may be required from time to time, reasonable flexible work options are available.

Plumstead Community Law Centre is a free specialist legal advice charity located in central Woolwich in South East London. We provide specialist legal advice and advocacy in the areas of immigration, welfare benefits and employment People can access our services via telephone or email, and through the Advice Hub outreach services we attend in local community centres. In 2024 over 1,400 local people accessed our advice and representation services, resulting in a range of financial and non-financial benefits.

Towards the end of 2024, we moved away from a collective model towards a functional management structure. We appointed an Interim CEO from the staff group and expanded our trustee board's size and expertise.

This Managing Director and Senior Solicitor role involves assuming the charity’s management from our interim CEO, who has established strong systems and secured new funding for the further strengthening of the charity. Our strategic plan includes improving our legal practice management with a view to obtaining a quality mark and securing an immigration legal aid contract. We anticipate securing further funding to expand our services, to support more people in need in our community.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced solicitor who has a track record in supervision and management. Although the job description is wide ranging, support will be given through further recruitment of administrative support. 

​The Law Centre Managing Director and Senior Solicitor (“MD/SS”) is responsible for all aspects of the day-to-day operation of the Law Centre. Working within appropriate delegations from the Board, the post holder ensures that the Law Centre provides quality assured services that meet its charitable purposes. The MD/SS ensures that issues of risk and compliance are properly managed and that the Centre is an exciting, innovative and enjoyable place to work. Key responsibilities

Fundraising & Income Generation

· Develop and deliver engaging fundraising campaigns and activities for community groups, individuals, and businesses to support our shared mission

· Build strong, sustainable relationships with local supporters, volunteers, and corporate partners to grow income and awareness

· Lead on stewarding existing supporters and proactively seeking out new ones through networking and outreach

Corporate Partnerships

Research, approach, build  and sustain meaningful relationships with local businesses and corporate supporters , fostering shared value of community support, compassion, and social responsibility. to secure donations, sponsorships, employee fundraising, and volunteering opportunities

· Prepare compelling partnership proposals, impact reports, and presentations tailored to potential and existing partners

Communications & Administration

· Work closely with the Marketing & Communications team to promote fundraising campaigns through digital, print, and social media channels

· Maintain accurate supporter records and track income and engagement using our CRM system

· Ensure all fundraising activity is compliant with GDPR, fundraising regulations, and reflects The Carers’ Centre’s values

General

Ensure that you;

· Support the Carbon Champion by implementing environmentally friendly practices to help reduce our carbon footprint.

In your role as a Community Keyworker, you will be working with women involved in the Criminal Justice System; those on Probation in the Community and those women being released from Prison as part of their Post Sentence Supervision; providing some in-reach and ‘Through the Gate’ support. You will be working in a team of Community Keyworkers in your region. Each Keyworker will provide holistic one to one community support to women with a variety of needs.

About You:

To be successful as the Community Keyworker you will need to be a creative self-starter who will support the service and look for innovative solutions to support clients with complex needs. You are a confident professional relationship builder with a good awareness of Safeguarding procedures. You will have strong administration skills and an understanding of compliant behaviours. You will also have good knowledge of the criminal justice system and awareness of other support provisions within the area.

Hours/Days per week: 37.5 hour per week, 8.5 hours per day (between 8am - 8pm). Monday – Saturday (5 days on, 2 days off). Operating hours of the kitchen are, Monday-Thursday 7:30am-8pm, Friday 7:30am-6pm, Saturday 8am-4pm. Most working days will be between 8am-6pm for this role.

About The Felix Project

The Felix Project is London’s largest food redistribution charity. Our vision is a London where good food is never wasted, and no one goes hungry. Purpose of the Job 

We are looking for the Assistant Kitchen Manager to play a key role in the Kitchen team.

Felix’s Kitchen is the longest running Production site we have here at The Felix Project, the staff and volunteer team in the kitchen, turn surplus food into almost 5,000 meals a day. These meals are cooked and packed on site and then go into our network of depots and on to some of the 1,200 community organisations we support.

This role is support in the managing of the day to day running of the kitchen, its team, the food production and packing of the meals and all aspects related to these responsibilities. Assist The Kitchen Manager in all aspects of the operation and planning for the kitchen.

No two days are ever quite the same in our kitchen, we work with volunteers and surplus food this means we adapt and thrive in a fast and changing environment. This role supports and oversees the entire operation, from the kitchen and chef team to the packing room and packing team, our volunteers and engaging and organising within the wider Felix Project.

Duties and Responsibilities

Your normal duties and responsibilities will be set out in your job description. However, the charity may require you to perform other duties from time to time. 

• Support all kitchen staff so they can fulfil their role
• Assist in the smooth running of the kitchen and packing area, taking a hands-on approach
• Ensure that the operation hits its agreed targets of production
• Responsible for the quality control of the cooked and packed meals, and that all correct HACCP procedures are followed
• Responsible for Health and Safety in the kitchen, food safety and record keeping and keeping all records up to date

Person Specification

This is a truly unique role, and we are looking for someone to bring their own skills, experience and flair to the role. We are looking for someone to help set and maintain very high standards in the kitchen.

The ideal candidate will be someone who is eager to continuously improve, whether this be food quality or process or working relationships. The kitchen has achieved some great successes over the last 4 years, but we are looking for someone to continue that improvement and the impact we can have across London.

Essential Criteria

• Experience in hospitality/catering management and/or kitchen management role
• Eagerness to improve processes and solve problems
• Comfortable with all aspects of H&S, Food Safety and HACCP procedures or a willingness to learn
• Demonstrable interest in food waste and/or food security
• Clear eye for detail, team player, enjoys the work they do and a strong work ethic
• Comfortable in working in a team and a larger organisation
• Strong people and management skills
• Mature and professional management style, whilst also being able to accommodate vulnerable people with care and consideration
