You’ll assist with the delivery of legacy marketing campaigns and loyalty activities, ensuring campaigns are executed on time and within budget to maximise responses and overall value. You'll manage various tasks, from circulating artwork and content for approval to raising purchase orders and handling invoices. You’ll also oversee loyalty communications, address queries from internal teams and supporters, and manage donor stewardship processes for legacies and In Memoriam donations. Post-campaign analysis, tracking campaign performance, and maintaining stock levels of collateral will also be key parts of your responsibilities, while collaborating with the digital team to ensure timely updates to our web pages.

Age International is recruiting for a Senior Policy Adviser with a proven background in achieving impact, for a 12-month maternity cover contract, working 28 hours per week. Salary advertised is FTE - 35 hours.

The Recovery House is a brand new, exciting, and innovative service for Birmingham Mind and is an opportunity to create a flagship standard of support and care for those in mental health crisis. The Recovery House is commissioned by the Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health Trust and is part of their Urgent Care pathway. Working closely with the Recovery House Team, the role is pivotal to the effective and safe delivery of the service.
About the role
The Recovery Support Worker (Waking Nights) will work as part of a team in our regulated serviced and is an important role to the delivery of recovery-based and prevention services within Birmingham Mind. The post is central to providing 24/7 support to users of the Recovery House. This role is specifically to provide evening and overnight staffing for the Recovery House service.
You will support the Waking Night team in providing a continuous and safe delivery of support and always ensuring high-quality and person-centred care. You will ensure that compliance and adherence to CQC standards is upheld and provide appropriate information to managers when requested.
You will work in a person-centred way alongside colleagues and NHS clinical partners to de-escalate mental health crisis and help service users to return home. You will be pivotal in the provision of a welcoming, calm, and safe environment.
About you
You will need to be skilful in quickly developing strong relationships with users of the service and able to support the de-escalation of crisis and the provision of a calm and supportive environment, delivering person centred interventions.
We are looking for someone who is experienced in the delivery of services to CQC standards in a regulated residential or supported living environment. Experienced in mental health illness, either personally or professionally, you will have previously worked in partnership with key stakeholders and partner organisations.
The successful candidate will have knowledge and commitment to the “Recovery” model of mental health support, be experienced in delivering person-centred care.

The purpose of this role is to provide professional advocacy to all eligible patients. To ensure that patients voices are heard and respected, rights upheld, and to facilitate positive engagement with ward staff, professionals involved in their care, treatment planning processes, and relevant meetings. This may be facilitated through attendance at patient’s forums, ward meetings, working with patients on a one to one basis providing information, representation and support to develop self-advocacy skills; and developing new forums and forms of support.
Duties will include providing professional advocacy to all patients, informing them of their rights and supporting them with any issues that are impacting them during their hospital admission. Ensuring that advocacy is available for all patients, that appropriate methods of communication are available in order to meet the needs of all patients, and to be able to adapt to changing ward based or external changes.

About this job

Barnardo's Swansea Bloom Service works directly with care experienced young people to help improve their emotional wellbeing, resilience and self confidence. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual to join Barnardo's as a Volunteer, Befriending and Peer Mentoring Co-ordinator (Project Worker 2).
The contract is for 25 hours a week to cover the maternity leave of the substantive post holder until 31st March 2025.
Bloom is a growing service offering a unique opportunity for the right person to develop, co-ordinate and deliver our Volunteer, Befriending and Peer Mentoring work using established and innovative approaches. The Co-ordinator will be responsible for recruiting and managing a team of volunteers, befrienders and peer mentors who will help young people to improve their physical and mental well-being by supporting them to access a range of exciting activities, helping them to find new interests and hobbies and engage in healthy activities in the community
You will undertake the role of Volunteer, Befriending and Peer Mentoring Co-ordinator reporting to the Children's Service Manager and acting as line manager to the service's volunteers.
The successful candidate will be required to carry out the following duties (in addition to those on the generic job description):-
- Continued development and delivery of the Volunteer, Befriending and Peer Mentoring element of the Bloom service.
- Recruit and train volunteers, befrienders and peer mentors
- Effectively match volunteers/befrienders/peer mentors to support young people
- Effectively utilise the Barnardo's specialist volunteer management system (Vol 1)
- Provide ongoing support and supervision of volunteers
- Keep accurate statistical information and assist in producing service performance reports for the organisation and funders.
- Support project engagement events and empower young people to share their voice and ensure that Bloom continues to be a young person led project
- Assist in quality assurance of every aspect of the service
- The service requires flexibility of work as we support young people around their needs.
You will have:
- Experience of working within a volunteering setting preferably at the level of co-ordinating the service this can be in a employment, education, training or volunteering setting
- Experience of recruiting, inducting and retaining volunteers
- Experience of keeping statistical information and completing performance reports for funders
- The ability to line manage volunteers
- An understanding of the needs of care experienced/vulnerable young people and an awareness of the factors impacting on their lives
Bloom is made up of three elements all of which work together:
Life Coaching - there is a dedicated life coach
Giving young people the power to unlock their own potential for positive change, by providing them with the tools to build resilience, improve wellbeing and understand themselves better. Coaching empowers young people to think about and move forward positively in their lives, by creating and working towards specific goals through 1:1 sessions with our life coach.
Volunteer, befriending and peer mentoring - there is a dedicated volunteer coordinator
- Volunteers – to help with activities
- Befriending - members of the local community befriend and provide ongoing assistance to service users are moving to independence
- Peer mentors – care experienced adults who can offer invaluable guidance to care experienced young people by drawing on their own experiences
Activities there are 2 engagement workers
Giving young people regular opportunities to get together to experience activities not easily accessed by care experienced young people. Led by the expressed wishes of young people they could be experiences such as sports, adventuring, outdoor events, gardening clubs, cooking clubs.
