We’re recruiting for a Senior Individual Giving Officer to join our team. We proudly raise money to help improve life for people with Parkinson’s and the people in their lives. Our work helps to fund everything from promising research, to providing personalised support for everyone with Parkinson’s, to campaigns fighting for better support for people with Parkinson’s and their loved ones.
About the role
You’ll be working on direct marketing campaigns and leading a strategic area of fundraising, to engage and inspire people to donate. And you’ll make it as easy as possible for supporters to choose the way they want to give. You’ll be part of a team that champions and supports each other, and is innovative in a changing fundraising and external environment to achieve our annual income target of over £5 million.
Focusing on high volume donations under £1000. We use analysis and insight to deliver a variety of direct marketing activities that recruit new donors and ensure everyone can see the impact of their kind contribution.
What you’ll do
- Support the Individual Giving Manager to help set strategic objectives, monitor income and expenditure and use database analysis to inform the individual giving programme.
- Plan, create and manage direct marketing campaigns, both online and offline, and lead a strategic area of fundraising to secure donations
- Work with the Individual Giving Officers, delegating work and championing their development. There may also be an opportunity to line manage an Individual Giving Officer.
- Monitor income and expenditure budgets and use database analysis to inform and improve the direct marketing programme.
What you’ll bring
- Strong experience of managing Individual Giving or direct marketing activity with substantial income and expenditure budgets.
- Proven success in donor or customer acquisition and retention through direct marketing.
- Strong track record of managing external agencies and suppliers.
- Some experience of using CMS and email platforms, ideally Marketing Cloud

This Fundraising Officer role will sit in the Events team. This team is responsible for a portfolio of third party organised sports events - such as London Marathon, Tough Mudder, Cardiff Half and skydives - that will raise £4.4 million in this financial year.
The Events team is a part of a wider Community, Events and Products Fundraising team. Our vision is to engage, grow and inspire a community of passionate fundraisers to power the fight for mental health. Because together, we can change lives.

Key duties and responsibilities
The post holder will:
- Provide support for people taking part in third party organised sports events in aid of Mind. This will include sending supporter communications, providing ongoingsupport, following up non-payments, personalised thanking, and supporter surveys.
-Attend supporter led and third-party events to help enhance our supporters' experience and deepen their relationship with Mind.
-Support the Senior Fundraising Officer in the delivery of events fundraising activity. This can include planning, writing and submitting briefs, generating marketing and stewardship communications, working with third party agencies, setting up web pages, delivering memorable on the day experiences for our supporters, reporting and analysing live activity and conducting evaluations.
-Analyse and interpret data, including marketing and stewardship performance, and adjust tactics to continuously improve and ensure results are met.

About this role
The Digital Acquisition Officer is a key member of the Mass Engagement team and part of the wider Development team. The Mass Engagement team exists to raise awareness of Reprieve’s work, shift public opinion and to inspire support. Your role will be to engage members of the public, grow the Reprieve’s community and help establish our supporter base.
It is an exciting time for our team, as we launch their first mass engagement strategy to promote the long-term growth of the programme. Digital fundraising boomed between 2020 and 2021 but has faced challenges in 2022 and 2023. The Project Officer (Strategic Data and Measurement Analyst) is an important new role at the Diocese, as you will provide a comprehensive understanding of our data sets to afford context and insight to the Deaneries, parishes and the Diocese which will help develop projects and programmes to drive growth in church attendance.

Fundraising Overview
1. Develop, deliver, and monitor a fundraising strategy for Pecan.

3. Coordinate all Appeals including the Pecan and Foodbank Christmas fundraising campaigns and Big Give Campaigns across all income and media streams.

Supporter Engagement and Stewardship
1. Establish systems, procedures, proactive stewardship, and an engagement programme to provide the highest levels of service to Pecan’s supporters.
2. To be responsible for thanking all supporters and managing a supporter engagement journey – ensuring that effective processes are in place and driving levels of satisfaction and loyalty.
3. Act as the ‘first point of call’ for all supporters and managing complaints and issues, ensuring they are reported centrally within agreed procedures, that they are resolved or escalated as necessary and maintaining excellent communication with supporters throughout these processes.
4. Develop and implement stewardship programmes including reactivation of lapsed donors.
Database Management
1. Assist with setting up our CRM database with responsibility of developing and maintaining the database, ensuring efficient, appropriate data capture and analysis for the purpose of effective stewardship, fundraising and communications.
2. Maintain data management standards, assisting with the implementation of processes and policies ensuring best practice is followed.
3. Train other staff members to be able to use the database sufficiently.

1. Develop an Individual Giving and Acquisition strategy that drives growth for individual giving across multi-channel campaigns and initiatives.
2. Lead all individual giving streams such as direct mail appeals, online donations, regular campaigns and appeals to maximise income generation.
3. Work with the Marketing Manager on fundraising communication and to ensure donors are kept up to date on the difference their support makes.
4. Develop campaigns and messaging that engages new segments and audiences.
Church Giving
1. Inspire churches to journey with us as we transform lives in Peckham.
2. Pioneer and develop a broad range of relationships with churches, organisations, and denominations across Southwark.
3. Work strategically with denominations to inspire partnership and engagement with Pecan across their networks and congregations.
4. Build a team of speakers who will host and speak at meetings with churches and Christian networks in Southwark.
5. Be willing to represent Pecan at external events, including Christian exhibitions and festivals, church talks etc…
6. Increase income from churches.
Fundraising Appeals and Campaigns
1. Work alongside teams and Partnerships Manager to project manage fundraising appeals and campaigns including Pecan at 35yrs; Christmas Campaigns etc.
2. Overall responsibility for Big Give Campaigns.
3. Oversight of Enthuse campaign pages.
4. Establish a corporate fundraising strategy with an accompanying narrative, alongside the Partnerships Manager, to explain the work of Pecan to potential company supporters.
5. Tailor campaigns and appeals for different audiences and supporters alongside Partnerships Manager to target corporates; smaller local businesses; individuals and churches.
Staff and Volunteers
1. Support with recruiting fundraising volunteers as appropiate.
2. Management of a part time Partnerships Manager with responsibility.
3. Work closely with Head of Services and Head of Food Services to ensure all fundraising is coordinated.
Wider organisational responsibilities
· Attend Pecan team meetings as and when required, including meetings where there may be a time of prayer and reflection.
· Read and adhere to all policies and procedures.
· Lead on applications to charitable trusts or statutory bodies with support from the Head of Services.
· Undertake responsibilities associated with being a member of the Pecan team.
· Perform all the duties required by the post in line with Pecan’s ethos and values statement, its commitment to a policy of equal opportunity and its aim of serving the community in a caring and practical manner.
· Carry out other duties as agreed by the Chief Executive Officer.

The role raises unrestricted income from individuals by planning and executing the day-to-day campaigns to recruit, engage and retain supporters.
Key responsibilities will include;
- Creating, planning, delivering and evaluating multi-channel, insight-led, supporter-centric campaigns. This will include both acquisition and retention campaigns.

The successful candidate will have experience of;
- income generation from direct marketing campaigns (acquisition and/or retention) across a variety of offline and digital channels
- effective campaign copy writing
- project management to deliver acquisition or retention campaigns
- using databases for targeting, segmentation, testing and response analysis and how to apply these learnings to future campaigns
- managing and monitoring external suppliers and agencies

We’re on the lookout for a Fundraising and Partnership Officer to join our team, someone that can nurture relationships with our existing partners and develop new collaborations, someone who can increase our reach, and importantly, secure funding to do good.
Job Description
Whilst we imagine this job to be split roughly 50:50 between partnership management and fundraising, the truth is that we’re a small team and we all pitch in beyond our job descriptions. Everyone here has good ideas, insight and can offer support in all aspects of our work in some way or another.
Partnerships management:
1. NURTURE RELATIONSHIPS WITH OUR PARTNERS: Manage and foster excellent relationships with our long-term partners supporting our conservation work in Indonesian Borneo, including NGOs, zoos, corporates and other organisations; extend thanks and provide resources and advice to support them with their activities.
2. SHOUT ABOUT CLIMATE CONSERVATION: Report progress on our conservation work in Indonesian Borneo to long-term partners by drafting high-quality reports in close collaboration and support to our Grants Officer.
Fundraising:
3. SECURE FUNDING TO DO GOOD: Support the development and expansion of BNF International’s fundraising activities by identifying and securing new opportunities and
partnerships, participating in the BNF Global Outreach Team working groups and supporting the Marketing and Fundraising Manager.
4.FUNDRAISE FOR OUR 1 MILLION TREES CAMPAIGN: develop opportunities for the BNF 1 Million Trees Campaign and further reforestation campaigns by identifying dedicated habitat restoration and tree-planting donors globally; introducing our project and establishing partnerships, bringing directors into the conversation as necessary, and managing relationships with donors in the long term.
5. COLLABORATE: Identify and follow-up on new fundraising opportunities which BNF can set up or take part in to widen our reach and encourage members of the public to support or fundraise for BNF, for example by way of BNF-led challenges, charity places in sponsored events, online fundraising and other means of raising funds and awareness.
6.REPRESENT US: Occasionally attend external events to support partnership development and individual giving fundraising.
General:
7.Provide general support across the BNF International organisation and wider BNF family, to all staff and volunteers, to help ensure the efficient, effective and successful running of our activities; and to provide advice and insight to enhance the effectiveness and impact of BNF International.
Please have all or some of the following skills and experience:
-Educated at degree or master’s level in a conservation or related scientific area.
-Previous fundraising experience desirable
-Excellent people skills, enjoy dealing confidently with people at all levels as well as external stakeholders.
-Ability to turn scientific information into content that can be easily understood by non-scientific audiences.
-Ability to work autonomously, prioritise tasks, manage workload and develop the role
