Main Purpose of Job
● To provide people with criminal records released (or about to be released) from prison or secure hospital with advice, assistance, and advocacy services in order to improve their wellbeing, enable them to establish and sustain independent
lives, and reduce their risk of re-offending
● To help InsideOut participants to maintain and develop strong, healthy relationships with those around them – friends and family, neighbours, civil society, and those able to support them or offer them opportunities to support others
● To use volunteering to develop participants’ skills, knowledge, and confidence
● To enable participants to gain paid employment/self-employment where this is their aim
● To develop and maintain good working relationships as part of the VCKC team (maximising potential to contribute to a positive culture and to achieve our shared objectives)
● To liaise with a wide range of statutory and non-profit stakeholders, including prison staff, health, and probation service teams, to further the objectives of the programme

This is a great opportunity to join us as the new Chief Finance Officer. As the Depaul Group continues to experience growth and increases its impact, you’ll lead the effective financial and governance support provided by DPI to its subsidiaries. You’ll be the leading interface between the Senior Leadership Team and the Board of Trustees and other corporate bodies and subsidiaries. What will ideally support your success?

It’s important that you also have experience of current financial reporting requirements and financial management practices, including consolidated financial reporting. Strong IT skills as well as an appreciation and understanding of key HR and ICT challenges in the charity sector are desirable. About the role 

You’ll be working on direct marketing campaigns and leading a strategic area of fundraising, to engage and inspire people to donate. Focusing on high volume donations under £1000, we use analysis and insight to deliver a variety of direct marketing activities that recruit new donors and ensure everyone can see the impact of their kind contribution. 

What you’ll do:

• Support the Individual Giving Manager to help set strategic objectives, monitor income and expenditure and use database analysis to inform the individual giving programme.

• Plan, create and manage direct marketing campaigns, both online and offline, and lead a strategic area of fundraising to secure donations

• Work with the Individual Giving Officers, delegating work and championing their development. There may also be an opportunity to line manage an Individual Giving Officer.

• Monitor income and expenditure budgets and use database analysis to inform and improve the direct marketing programme.

Based at the prestigious Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in Stratford, TCV is looking for an enthusiastic, confident & competent Senior Project Officer. We need someone who can lead this brand new & exciting project by recruiting volunteers, engaging local people & making positive, impactful gains for wildlife.

The role may involve working across a variety of green spaces, from orchards to ponds & wetlands to roof gardens & community growing spaces. You'll plan & lead at least two (sometimes more) volunteering sessions a week to deliver practical nature conservation work. This includes delivery of a health & wellbeing focused session, TCV's Green Gym & a weekly Biodiversity Action Team activity.

Additionally, you'll plan & deliver nature themed community engagement events, which may include activities like leading citizen science sessions, nature themed arts & crafts or nature walks.

This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a brand-new project, in a world-famous location. The post holder will have the close support of the team & other experienced local TCV staff, however we're looking for someone who's experienced enough to hit the ground running & deliver outstanding outcomes for both people & nature.

SANE is a UK-wide mental health charity working to improve the quality of life of anyone affected by mental illness. It aims to raise awareness and understanding of all mental health conditions; fight to improve frontline mental health services for individuals and carers; provide support, information and guidance through SANEline, our Call Back service, email and text support. SANE also promotes and host research into causes, treatments and therapies through its Prince of Wales International Centre for SANE research.

About the role:

We are looking for a compassionate and committed Youth Support and Project Officer to join our SANEline Services team with a dedicated focus on supporting young people affected by mental health.
 

In this role you will;

- Deliver emotional support and to both adults and young people

- Shape and lead on a youth helpline and/or written service

- Liaise with external agencies and services

- Help build and shape youth focused services at SANE

You will bring;

- Experience of supporting young people with mental health needs ideally in complex situations

- Strong safeguarding knowledge

- A trauma informed, empathetic and resilient approach to support

- The ability to build trust and rapport with young people and families

Salary: £30,000-32,000 per annum, depending on experience
