As Deputy Director, you will play a critical leadership role in shaping PORe’s future, ensuring our long-term sustainability, and driving impactful organisational development. You will work closely with the Director & CEO to enhance our operations, administration, and financial management while leading a small team to support the delivery of our Business Plan. This position offers a unique opportunity to shape strategic business processes, contribute to PORe’s artistic programming, and play an integral role in our fundraising efforts. You’ll be looking after a small team, and the administrative, and financial aspects of the organisation. Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Director & CEO in strategic, financial, and organisational development.

Want to help reimagine youth work for a new generation? The Bridge Youth Project, in partnership with St Paul’s Church, is creating a brand-new role — Third Space Youth Lead — to develop meaningful, faith-rooted connections with young people outside the classroom. You’ll pioneer creative, relational, community-based youth engagement that brings Christian hope and presence into the everyday spaces young people inhabit.

Across Salisbury’s schools, something sacred is unfolding. Through the ministry of chaplaincy, young people are not only encountering the Christian story—they’re engaging with it. There is a growing openness, a hunger to go deeper, and in some, a readiness to own and articulate faith. Yet for many, those germinating seeds have nowhere to grow. There’s no natural community to nurture belief, no clear bridge between their experience in school and a life of ongoing discipleship. The result? What should be a comma, sadly becomes a full stop.

This role exists to change that.

The Third Space Youth Lead is a unique partnership between The Bridge Youth Project and St Paul’s Church, Salisbury, bringing together two missional contexts with one unified purpose: to help young people move from curiosity to commitment, and from early encounters with faith into meaningful, sustained discipleship.

Half of this role is embedded at St Paul’s, leading a vibrant and growing youth ministry for young people aged 11–18, offering regular gatherings, discipleship pathways, mentoring, and opportunities for leadership. The other half leads our new Third Space ministry, working in close collaboration with Bridge Chaplains to create invitational, community-rooted spaces beyond school and church walls, spaces where young people can belong, explore, and grow in their faith journey.

About the Role

Carriers of Hope is looking for a skilled and motivated individual to lead the logistics and practical support side of our work. This is a key leadership role, responsible for making sure that essential donated goods—food, clothing, furniture, and baby items—are received, organised, and distributed efficiently to the refugee and migrant families we support across Coventry.

You’ll oversee multiple projects, manage a committed team of staff and volunteers, and help shape the systems that make our work possible. From running our warehouse and coordinating van deliveries, to leading the House to Home furniture scheme, this is a hands-on, people-focused role with real impact.

We're looking for someone who brings strong coordination and problem-solving skills, has experience in logistics or operations, and is confident leading a team in a fast-moving environment. You’ll also play a key role in embedding sustainability into everything we do. A full, clean UK driving licence is essential.

**An opportunity to work & stay at our Hummingbird Support House!**

We’re looking for a compassionate and experienced Key Support Worker to be part of Hummingbird Homes—a unique new model helping young people transition from care to independent living.

Background:

At Handcrafted, we work with a range of vulnerable people, including care leavers. Their stories and experiences have helped us to recognise that there is a gap in provision from 16+, where transitioning into independent living is either an overly support-intensive time or very isolating. We have created a new model of support for those transitioning from care to independent living, bridging a critical gap in services.

Our New Approach:

To set up the Hummingbird Community, we have purchased five houses that are all near each other. Four of these will be used as supported housing for children 16+ transitioning out of the care system, and one of them will serve as a dedicated "Support House". 

This house will have a central community space for the young people, and it's a home where you can stay nearby whilst working, on-call, or between shifts, for as long as you are employed by Handcrafted.

The communal area downstairs will be the base for spending time together and providing life skills training alongside the wider team.

You would have your own private space upstairs for when you stay at the Support House.

Sands exists to save babies’ lives and ensure that anyone affected by pregnancy loss or baby death receives the support and care they need.

Bereaved parents and families are at the heart of why Sands exists. Sharing their experiences of pregnancy and baby loss, and what connects and involves them with our work, is both an important part of their bereavement journey and a way to demonstrate the need for our vision and mission to succeed. This role will help us to show in a real and human, authentic way, what Sands is doing to save babies’ lives and support bereaved families.

Sharing these personal stories in external communications will help us reach more people, bringing to life the work we do in a way that engages diverse audiences, and increasing the likelihood of their taking actions in support of Sands.  

This new role has been developed to support the Communications & Engagement team to develop our story-telling function, build our real stories library and ensure the associated consent and stewardship processes are compassionate, efficient and effective. The Stories Officer will ensure wherever possible, that external communications assets and content created by teams across Sands includes the voices of people touched by pregnancy and baby loss – including those who have been personally affected, and those who are allies of Sands, such as healthcare professionals, corporate partners, research partners, fundraisers and more.

You will have experience of working in a charity stories or communications team, or in a stories-led environment such as journalism.

A good knowledge of compliance and safeguarding issues, including experience of working with vulnerable people in a communications context is required.

With excellent written communication and creative skills, you will be able to produce work that captures and conveys real life experiences in a sensitive and compassionate tone.

A great opportunity to coordinate services for adult carers experiencing mental health issues in Merton, South West London.

Jigsaw4u is a charity with a proud 27 year history in supporting mental health and wellbeing in South West London. We are seeking a support worker who shares our values and person-centred approach, and who is passionate about helping adult carers (those with caring responsibilities).

Role in Context

Jigsaw4u’s Carers Peer Support Service supports adult carers in the London Borough of Merton through emotional support and access to information, opportunities and practical advice.

Working alongside other VCSE peer support providers in the Borough, other carer organisations or providers of statutory carers work, the post holder will work on improving pathways and coordinating services for adult carers experiencing mental health issues, often as a direct result of caring.  The post holder should have lived experience of being a carer, or of mental health challenges experienced by themselves or a close friend or family member

1. Purpose of the job

Be responsible in the designated area for:

• Delivery of one-to-one and group peer support sessions designed for and by adult carers
• Collecting data and reporting on direct work delivered with adult carers
• Collaborative working with the Merton Peer Support Partnership
• Developing and enhancing relationships with strategic partners
• Maintaining and striving to improve service delivery standards and effectiveness

We are recruiting for a Peer Support Lead: 

The Hepatitis C Trust has developed projects nationally whereby peers use their lived experience of injecting drug use and hepatitis C, to provide education and training to increase awareness of hepatitis C, reduce stigma, and promote access to testing and treatment for people living with hepatitis C. 

Do you have personal experience of drug use or hepatitis C? Do you have experience working in drug services, health inclusion services or with volunteers? We are looking for a passionate peer lead with good communication and organisational skills. We require a reasonable standard of education and welcome creativity and innovation in all our work. 

Working as part of a growing team, this post will continue the development and delivery of the Hepatitis C peer project, recruiting and supporting volunteer peers across Bristol and surrounding areas. Working in partnership with hepatitis C clinical teams, drug and alcohol services and homeless service providers, the post will coordinate delivery of educational workshops, hepatitis C testing in community settings, ensure that service users are referred and supported through hepatitis C treatment and care. 

This post will require extensive travel across the region and it’s desirable the post holder holds a clean driving licence and have their own vehicle for work related travel.

Job Description

This role is central to positioning CSC as the leading small-to-medium-sized science centre and STEM engagement organisation in the UK. Working with the CEO and Directors, you will help identify opportunities, shape the CSC marketing strategy and convert that into an objective-centric plan of action. You will be responsible for all CSC marketing campaigns and activity, owning the brand and its development across all key audiences, including the public, community groups, teachers and school leadership, corporate CSR teams, and educational grant providers. You will own CSC’s marketing partnerships and publicity channels, including the website, social media, YouTube and press contacts. To develop a steady stream of interesting content for these channels and to celebrate key successes of the organisation, you will animate the entire CSC team to capture and share impactful stories through newsletters, media appearances, social media, conferences, and direct engagements. Additionally, you will ensure the organisation is supported with up-to-date collateral across all major functions and initiatives, while fostering a customer-focused approach through media and marketing skills training across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

● Develop and manage all CSC marketing and advertising, including prioritising of activities to best achieve annual targets within marketing budget

● Own all aspects of the CSC brand and its development

● Support the CEO in the development and revision of a multi-year marketing strategy, identifying top-priority objectives for focused campaigns which you will then own

● Maintain a cross-organisation annual marketing plan and quarterly update schedule with key staff members to help identify ongoing opportunities to promote CSC activities, products, community engagements and programmes

● Working with the broader CSC team, create and manage a marketing content development plan, including case-studies, blogs and social-media threads, to best seize publicity opportunities and achieve annual marketing objectives

● Establish annual marketing targets, and own and track marketing metrics across all key audiences—including the public, schools, community groups, corporate partners, and the informal education sector—including quarterly reports on progress

● Identify and manage marketing risk for the organisation, including considered fast-response on public platforms as appropriate

● Develop and manage all CSC marketing relationships with partners and press

● Own all press and publicity channels, driving up quality engagement with CSC through the CSC website, social media, YouTube, etc.

● Create and manage a CSC collateral database, ensuring responsiveness to business development priorities.

● Empower and upskill CSC staff to actively support marketing campaigns and storytelling efforts.

● Ensure that community and partner engagements are effectively supported with marketing and awareness-raising initiatives.
