Islamic Relief UK (IRUK) is recruiting for the position of ‘Supporter Relations Assistant’ to be based from its Waterloo Office, London. This position is being offered on a fixed-term contract basis for 6 months. The organisation is currently operating to a hybrid working model.
To manage IRUK’s switchboard and phone enquiry system and to administer the entry of data on the fundraising database. This will include processing donations, updating supporter details, maintaining supporter records, and ensuring that information held is accurate, appropriate and up to date.
The successful candidate must have:
- Demonstrable experience in a similar role
- Experience of using databases
- Excellent customer service experience
- Experience of working with sensitive information
- Experience of and passion for, delivering excellent supporter care
- Good levels of computer skills with experience of working with databases and competent in Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel.

Job Purpose
- Carry out home repairs and maintenance work for older people and/or their carers across East London.
- Support AUKEL Home & Settle service in providing support to aid hospital discharge.
- Carry out home security checks and advise and fit crime safety devices/adaptations.
- Deliver person centred service to diverse communities across East London.

Age UK Croydon’s very successful Personal Safety Project (Falls Prevention) for older people in Croydon is recruiting a new Senior Personal Safety Assessor. If you are an enthusiastic, passionate and organised individual, this could be the role for you.
Our Personal Safety Project (PSP) is a free service which aims to help older people who have fallen or are at risk of falling at home. The service is available to anyone aged 50 and over who lives in the borough of Croydon.
Our trained assessors carry out a comprehensive risk assessment to identify potential causes of falls and hazards in the home and can arrange for stair rails, grab handles and other necessary aids and adaptations to be supplied and/or fitted, free of charge. The project can provide ongoing telephone support for up to six weeks to monitor the risk of further falls post engagement.

Overview of the role
As the organisation’s Head of Fundraising and Marketing, you will be an experienced, ambitious, enthusiastic, and dynamic professional, who is passionate about fundraising and maximising income generation.
Working closely with our new CEO and committed trustees and staff, you will develop and implement fundraising and marketing strategies that align to our vision and drive the expansion of our crucial support to young people in Suffolk.

Main Responsibilities
1. Strategic leadership
· Develop and lead the multi-channel fundraising and marketing strategy to meet agreed income targets and support
long-term sustainability for both The Mix and 127 Trading Ltd.
· Work closely with the CEO and Trustees, to align fundraising efforts with the strategic goals of the charity and bring insight into income generation and stakeholder engagement.

2. Fundraising and income generation
· Drive the development of diverse income streams, including major donor fundraising, corporate partnerships, individual giving, legacies, lotteries, community fundraising and events.
· Proactively seek new opportunities to secure long-term, multi-year funding through well-targeted funding applications and corporate proposals.
· Build strong partner relationships with a focus on stewardship, retention, and growth.
· Monitor performance, analyse data, and drive continuous improvement.
· Chair the Fundraising sub-committee and contribute to the Data, Impact and Evidence Action Group
· Responsible for completion of all bids, grants and funding applications and ensuring that funders receive appropriate ongoing feedback.
3. Marketing and communications
· Develop marketing materials and campaigns that effectively communicate the charity’s mission, vision and achievements to various audiences for both The Mix and 127 Trading Ltd.
· Lead the management of digital platforms, ensuring consistent and inspiring content across all channels, including the website, social media, email and printed materials.
· Ensure that brand messaging is consistent, clear and aligned across The Mix and 127 Trading Ltd to enhance public recognition and reputation.
· Grow awareness of the charity at a local and regional level, monitoring success through market research.
· Develop compelling narratives and stories of the charity’s impact to engage partners and encourage continued support.
4. Team leadership and development
· Lead and develop the Fundraising & Marketing team, fostering a collaborative and positive culture.

5. Operational excellence

About Dravet Syndrome UK
Dravet Syndrome UK (DSUK) is a small independent UK charity dedicated to improving the lives of those affected by Dravet Syndrome. Dravet Syndrome is a rare neurological condition that affects around one in every 15,000 people in the UK. As well as experiencing severe, difficult-to-control seizures, children and adults with Dravet Syndrome have varying degrees of intellectual disability and a spectrum of associated conditions (known as ‘comorbidities’), which may include autism, ADHD, behaviours that challenge and difficulties with speech, mobility, eating and sleep.
The charity was founded in October 2008 by a small group of 30 families. Today, DSUK is a registered charity helping over 550 families with support, education, and research programmes, underpinned by a world-class Medical Advisory Board.
What you will bring
Essential
· Demonstrable experience in planning and delivering engaging and targeted social media content to build community, raise awareness and drive engagement.

LUX is seeking an exceptional Deputy Director to help lead its next chapter. This new senior role, created to strengthen internal capacity, operational resilience, and strategic delivery, will work closely with the recently appointed Director, Ali Roche, to shape and implement a vision for the organisation’s future. Overseeing operational and financial management, the Deputy Director will bring a broad skillset across finance, operations, HR, fundraising, legal, and governance to ensure LUX’s long-term success.

LUX is a publicly funded arts organisation and accredited museum that supports and promotes visual artists working with the moving image. Based in London and Glasgow, it delivers a range of activities including exhibitions, screenings, educational projects, commissioning and research.
It also manages Europe’s largest collection of films and videos made by artists and distributes them to museums, galleries and festivals around the world. We are a small organisation with offices in London and Glasgow. LUX’s collection is based at its London location in Waterlow Park, Highgate, North London, a beautiful location in a public park with its own gardens. LUX Scotland is based in Glasgow and delivers a public programme of activity in Scotland dedicated to supporting, developing and promoting artists’ moving image practices across the country.
This is a rare opportunity to join LUX at a moment of renewal. Together with the Board and our dedicated team, you will help guide strategic growth, seize new opportunities, and uphold our artist-centred mission—building on LUXs rich history and commitment to championing artists’ moving image in the UK. The Deputy Director will lead on income generation, develop forward-thinking strategies, and help maintain and continue to build a vibrant, sustainable organisation for artists, collaborators and audiences.
Key Information:
Job Title: Deputy Director
Hours: 5 days a week (35 hours)
Salary: £45,000 pro-rata
Benefits Include: 25 days per year plus statutory holidays with an increase of 1 day per year worked up to a maximum of 30 days in total.
Location: This role is based at the LUX London office. This position will require at least 3 days per week working at the LUX office. Hybrid working options available.
The Deputy Director main responsibilities will include:
- Develop and maintain operational policies, procedures, and risk management aligned with organisational values and Arts Council Investment Principles.
- Co-lead the business plan and long-term strategy with the Director, translating goals into operational delivery.
- Oversee financial management, including budgeting, audits, payroll, procurement, cash flow, statutory reporting, and fundraising and income generation strategies, ensuring compliance and value for money.
- Prepare and submit quarterly and annual reports to public funders, ensuring data accuracy and compliance.
- Ensure legal and governance compliance across charity, company, employment, safeguarding, health & safety, and data protection; support the Board of Trustees with reports and governance documentation.
- Manage operations, including admin systems, IT, building maintenance, insurance, accessibility, sustainability, and lease compliance.
- Lead HR processes: recruitment, contracts, onboarding, appraisals, staff development, and fostering a positive, inclusive workplace with HR consultant support.
- Contribute to LUX’s success and culture, upholding our values and supporting an inclusive environment.
