Finance Assistant
This is an exciting opportunity for a Finance Assistant to join a national charity, where you will have exposure to a range of areas within the Finance Team.
Position: Finance Assistant
Location: Hybrid – London or Manchester or North East (2 days in office, 2 days remote)
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Part-time, 4 days a week (30 hours )
Salary: North East - £21,245.95 PA, North West - £23,645.95 PA, London £24,045.95 PA

About the Role
As a Finance Assistant, you will be responsible for setting up and updating all property and resident accounts on the rental ledger system and for ensuring that rental income in correctly reflected on both the rent and finance systems on a timely basis.
You will work closely with project staff and housing benefit departments regarding rental income queries and ensure that rental income is received in accordance with the charity’s internal financial controls and all legal regulatory requirements are complied with. The role will involve some sales ledger work, under the supervision of the Rental Income Business Partner.
Some Key responsibilities include:
• Rental Ledger and rental collection
• Responsible for reviewing the rental income bank account and accurately reflecting all receipts onto the rental income system
• Identify any overpayments and request the necessary refunds
• Produce and send out monthly rent arrears and voids
• Process monthly rent write-offs
• Reconcile and close monthly accounts
• Raise rental income sales invoices and follow up on late payments
About You
You’ll be a highly organised individual, with excellent interpersonal skills. You will be comfortable working independently and communicating effectively with colleagues across the organisation.
Essential skills and experience:
• Good knowledge of rental income accounting and processes e.g. Housing Benefits
• Experience of rental income accounting systems, preferably including Omni
• Good Excel skills and well as other Microsoft packages.
• Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.

The role and your key responsibilities
As a Partner Success Lead your role is to provide world class customer service to our partner base of over 2,500 schools and colleges. You will be responsible for onboarding our new schools and supporting our existing schools to make the most of the Unifrog platform. Solutions and customer service focused, you will make sure that all interactions with Unifrog are prompt, positive and successful.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Partner management
- Being the first point of contact for enquiries from our existing 2,500+ partners.
- Onboarding our new schools by setting them up on our platform and making sure teachers and students are ready to get the most out of Unifrog.
- Continually improving our onboarding materials and processes using feedback from our partners.

Partner training and support
- Training staff remotely on how to use the platform.
- Troubleshooting issues and providing on-the-spot support via phone, email and video calls.

Ad hoc tasks
- Leading on and supporting a variety of other projects across other parts of the business during quieter periods.
- Proactively working to foster a sense of community amongst our Unifrog partners and always thinking about how we can promote the sharing and embedding of Unifrog best practice across our partner schools.
- Supporting the team with general admin.

The successful applicant will work as part of WGN, supporting survivors of sexual violence to access high quality legal advice relating to their rights as survivors of sexual violence within the criminal justice system.

We are seeking a motivated and empathetic Sexual Violence Paralegal to join our Sexual Violence Legal team and support the delivery of our pioneering Sexual Violence Legal Pilot. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic, survivor-centred legal service committed to improving access to justice for those affected by sexual violence.
As a key member of the legal team, you will assist lawyers with casework, support client care, and ensure the smooth operation of our legal advice service. Your role will be integral to ensuring survivors receive high-quality, compassionate, and informed legal support.
About you
You are highly organised, detail-oriented, and committed to working in a trauma-informed, survivor-focused manner. You bring a strong interest in legal issues affecting survivors of sexual violence and are eager to learn and contribute meaningfully to the work of the team. Experience working in a legal or support services setting is desirable.

Women and Girls Network (WGN) was established in 1987 and has spent over 30 years supporting women and girls across London affected by gendered violence. This includes childhood sexual abuse, domestic violence, rape, prostitution (including trafficking and sexual exploitation), female genital mutilation (FGM), and so-called ‘honour’ based crimes such as forced marriage. Our goal is to promote, preserve, and restore the mental health and wellbeing of women and girls, to empower them to make a total and sustainable recovery from the experiences of violence.
The Centre for Women’s Justice (CWJ) aims to help women and girls who are subject to male violence get better access to legal remedies to defend and enhance their rights; CWJ’s mission is to hold the state to account and challenge discrimination in the justice system around male violence against women and girls.
