Our day centre service is currently open three days per-week offering respite, food and somewhere safe to be for anyone facing street homelessness. It provides advocacy and casework services to those who are vulnerably housed or homeless, supporting them to address their individual crisis and the underlying causes. We also provide a small year round night shelter provision. 

APAP works in close partnership with a number of key agencies locally including drug and alcohol teams, street outreach services, local authority housing teams and the wider VCS. We are a gateway service in the community through which our clients can access a range of support. 

The Community Fundraising and Partnerships Coordinator will be responsible for developing and nurturing relationships within the local community to support APAP’s fundraising efforts, including schools, local businesses, faith and community groups. A key feature of this role will be developing increased year-round community engagement and fundraising, leading into the planning and delivery of at least one annual fundraising campaign. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to engage directly with stakeholders to build strong partnerships, whilst contributing strategically to the growth of the charity's fundraising efforts. 

We are hiring a Deputy Manager to deliver quality services to children and young people with learning disabilities and/or Autism.  The job is based in our wonderful five bedded home in Tower Hamlets providing fun-based after school activities and short breaks for a small group of children with Autism in a residential setting.  

The role will involve balancing multiple priorities in running an essential and inspirational service for children and young people with Autism.  You will support with strategic and logistical planning while also carrying out hands-on work alongside the rest of the team, ensuring a child centred approach is maintained at all times, and involving children, young people and parents and carers in decision-making structures. There is ample scope for development, identifying any gaps in existing provisions and expanding services accordingly. This deputy manager will be ambitious to maintain and further develop the positive and invaluable work of this service.

You will support, and be supported by, our Ofsted Registered Manager and be responsible for delivering services that are fully compliant with all relevant legislative and regulatory requirements. You will ensure the safety of service users' health and wellbeing, leading by example with a positive and person-centred approach.  You will be confident liaising with local authority and Ofsted representatives and be committed to supporting your team to provide and facilitate engaging activity groups aimed at developing the life skills, confidence and relationship building of the people we support.

• You will need to have a minimum of two years of supervisory or team leadership experience ideally in a children’s residential environment or a related field working with children, young adults or adults with learning disabilities.

• You will need to have or be working towards Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare or an equivalent qualification.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Associate Project Manager – Apprentice to join the Estates team. Your role is to contribute to the successful delivery of a number of projects and small works, ensuring the scope and benefits are achieved as planned.

Minimum age 18 and commitment to complete an 18 month apprenticeship with studying and theory along side work.

Role Requirements

• Collaborate with the Project Manager to precisely define project scope and objectives, eliciting technical requirements to formulate detailed specifications, cost assessments, and delivery schedules, while maintaining close coordination with stakeholders to ensure alignment on goals and key milestones.
• Contribute to the development and presentation of key project documents for stakeholder approval and governance.
• Assist the Project Manager in overseeing capital and operational projects and other minor works throughout the organisation, taking ownership of the successful delivery of assigned projects and tasks throughout the project lifecycle, raising any issues / risks and reporting on a regular basis.
• Work within agreed budget and available resource, reporting on forecast, spend and raising any variations to the Project Manager.
• Build and maintain good relationships with all project stakeholders using a variety of communication methods.
• Track and assess project performance and outcomes using relevant tools and methodologies to collate and analyse data to report on project performance.
• Identify and monitor project risks and issues; and plan and implement responses to them.
• Assist in planning and coordinating the resources – human, financial and material – required for effective project delivery, working with the Senior Engineer to advise on resources from in-house Maintenance Team for up-coming projects.
• Apply quality management systems and tools to ensure project outcomes meet all legislative, regulatory and local standards.
• Participate in post project evaluation to document lessons learned, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist the Project Manager with collation of all Estates compliance certificates and service report onto the compliance register.
• Provide input, as required, to monthly compliance reports.
• Provide updates on required remedial works, as necessary.

Farm Cornwall Trustees are seeking applications for the post of Charity Manager.

This is an exciting new role with an expansive remit ranging from dealing with calls and administration on one hand to strategic initiatives including the sourcing of funding; developing the new website and social media to reflect the new ambitions and activities of the charity and the creation of effective databases to evidence the impact of the charity on farming beneficiaries. The Solutions Technology Team are dedicated to enhancing the delivery technology solutions we provide. Data underpins the insight that informs our decisions and shapes the way we build lasting relationships with our customers — from service users and fundraisers to campaigners and volunteers. With a focus on aligning technology solutions with business needs, the Solutions Manager will review requirements and turn them into clear, actionable project plans. You’ll also manage the general maintenance of our bespoke in-house applications, which include bespoke ETL system, and front-end web applications.

You’ll be supporting the Head of Technology and Solutions with software architecture, databases support, network infrastructure, and relevant programming languages to a degree that enables you to grasp technical discussions and identify potential challenges.  Our in-house development platforms are built using PHP and Microsoft SQL Server and leverage robotic automation tools such as Toca.io and Power Automate all hosted-on Azure cloud infrastructure. 

Acting as line manager, you’ll oversee and coordinate the day-to-day work of our Solutions technology team, supporting two Developers, a Business Analyst and third-party developers to deliver projects on time and in line with business needs.

What we want from you

We’re looking for a Solutions Manager with a strong understanding of the development lifecycle, business analysis, requirements gathering, database design, optimisation, and general programming. You’ll need to be comfortable overseeing and helping to shape the architecture of our bespoke in-house applications, while taking ownership of existing systems — understanding how they’re built, how they work, and the part they play within the organisation.

You’ll have proven experience in managing teams (both in-house and external) and providing coaching and development opportunities to help your team perform at their best. Experience with both Agile methodologies and the software development lifecycle (SDLC) will be essential, as you lead the team to deliver high-quality, timely solutions.

Problem-solving and decision-making will be at the heart of your role, and your excellent communication skills will enable you to explain complex technical concepts clearly to a variety of audiences, from technical teams to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities/ Role

• Support and develop relationships across the community income stream from new and existing partners with a plan to maintain and grow income in subsequent years in line with our fundraising strategy.
• Undertake research into potential new campaigns and advances in community fundraising.
• Grow and steward a pipeline of new and existing audiences and fundraising opportunities, ensuring to always maintain the highest quality supporter journey.
• Work closely with the Head of Income Generation and existing Fundraising team to identify potential strategic relationships and opportunities.
• As a senior member of the Income Generation Team, you will contribute to robust financial planning, management and reporting of income and expenditure in your own areas of expertise on a monthly basis.
• Lead on specific community fundraising initiatives as agree with the Head of Income Generation.
• Collaborate with the fundraising team to identify relevant products/ events/ campaigns/ Gifts-in-Kind that will be of interest to existing and potential supporters and work with communications team to produce literature and resources to demonstrate need and impact
• Delivery of health hour talks, with support from other members of the team as required, to secure funding.
• Achieve Financial and non-financial targets and KPI’s as agreed with the Head of Income Generation.
• Develop and support our ongoing stewardship journey for community Fundraisers and increase average gift though exceptional supporter care and a proactive approach.
• Pro-actively utilise charity database, maintaining and nurturing existing relationships and finding new supporters and/or networks.
• Undertake any other relevant duties and projects delegated by the Head of Income Generation and Senior Management Team.
• In their absence provide cover for members of the fundraising team.

Thanks to funding from the National Lottery Community Fund, we are recruiting for an Operations Manager who will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Poverty Truth Network, including the oversight of systems, staff performance and finances.

Key tasks of the role:

• To form part of the Core Leadership Team, providing overall strategic leadership across the Network 
• To lead on the financial management of the Poverty Truth Network, including the delivery of Management Accounts and the production of an annual budget
• To manage the Operations Team, setting clear goals and objectives linked to the Strategic Plan
• To lead on and establish the appropriate processes to ensure high levels of staff performance and development, including appraisals and performance management

• To ensure that the Network operates in line with its charitable purposes, overseeing changes to its constitution as and when necessary

Role Purpose

You will be responsible for building and maintaining partnerships with hyperlocal, local, and national businesses, stewarding the organisations to become Mustard Tree’s partners, and for us to be their ‘Charity of the Year’, donating to and fundraising for the charity.

You will manage an existing caseload of these valued partners, with the opportunity to proactively create new relationships and partnerships, contacting through multiple channels, creating content, and hosting, touring, and presenting to businesses.

In addition to corporate partnerships, you will manage the recruitment and stewardship of Mustard Tree’s events fundraisers, being responsible for the administration, making sure all places are filled, planning the events, and helping all participants hit their fundraising targets.

Main Duties

Corporate Partnership

• Steward a cohort of existing Corporate Partners through email updates, calls, social media activity and booking monthly check-ins, as well as sharing infographics, case studies, events information, and newsletters when useful.
• Proactively build new relationships, ultimately securing new donors, partners, and ‘Charity of the Year’ organisations. Make it clear and easy for donors to understand what we do, how they can help, and the impact they will have.
• Host, tour, or present at a minimum of four organisations per week.
• Manage inquiries, emails, and queries relating to partnerships, corporate donations, volunteering, and events, ensuring timely responses.
• Manage the partnership inbox and work with the Fundraising team on our corporate bookings calendar.
• Work with the Fundraising and Volunteer Coordinator to plan and book Social Value Days for partners and prospective partners.
• Collaborate with the Fundraising and Communications team to develop and publish copy, advertisements, social media content, and create WordPress pages relevant to Corporate Partnership and Events.
• Host Corporate Partners for their volunteering inductions and debriefs and follow up with a thank-you email the same week.

• Support the running of our October Fundraising Dinner
