As the organisation expand their reach and influence, they are seeking an Education and Training Manager to drive the development, delivery, and strategic growth of the education, training and events programme. This role is offered on a four days a week (0.8 FTE) basis.
This new role will be instrumental in advancing the charity’s mission by strengthening our education and engagement efforts across the UK research community. This is a pivotal, hands-on role for someone with a clear understanding and commitment to the principles of research integrity,, able to creating high-quality learning experiences, and eager to make a meaningful difference in the research landscape.
About the Role
As the Education and Training Manager, you will:
- Shape and lead the organisation's education, training, and events strategy, identifying gaps, responding to sector needs, and ensuring a forward-thinking, inclusive and impactful programme.
- Develop high-quality, engaging training content and resources that support research integrity across disciplines, tailored to audience needs and optimal delivery methods for learning - driving innovation in delivery formats, including online and train-the-trainer models.
- Design, coordinate, and deliver a range of training activities—from workshops and webinars to bespoke programmes—for researchers, organisations, and key stakeholders.
- Oversee the delivery of the body's training and events provision, including management of in-house sessions and external training associates, and represent the organisation at conferences, events, and sector forums.
- Collaborate with partners to evaluate and continuously improve the quality, reach and effectiveness of the charity's education and training offer through feedback, data and strategic review.

About this job
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Income and Gift Aid Accountant Assistant to help us make sure every penny counts in our mission to stop MS. You'll play a key role in managing our income processing and supporting Gift Aid claims to help us maximise the value of every donation.
You'll ensure that donations recorded in our CRM system match the funds received, resolving discrepancies and supporting our income processes to run efficiently. Working closely with our Customer Services and Fundraising teams you’ll be at the heart of making sure our financial data is accurate and robust.
You’ll also assist with preparing and checking Gift Aid claims, helping us claim back vital extra funds at no additional cost to our supporters. Your detail driven approach will help us continue to build a strong and transparent foundation for everything we do.
To succeed in this role, you’ll need a good understanding of financial accounting principles, strong Excel and IT skills, and a collaborative problem-solving approach. Excellent communication and organisational skills will also be essential as you work closely with teams across the organisation to ensure our income records are accurate and efficient.

As you gain experience, you will be allocated multiple accounts which will enable you to increase your hours worked.
Whilst you need to be on hand to monitor your accounts during 9am-9pm, the role does allow for a great deal of personal flexibility.

This is an exciting new role for an experienced mental health professional who has experience of providing support to and working with clients with mild, moderate and severe mental health issues. You will provide Client Support for all services, including effective, in depth triage of clients, identification of client risk including escalation and support to clients. The successful candidate will provide support to all services, including building up and developing a bank of volunteers and (volunteer coordination) including general administrative support, as well as changes in service delivery.
Client Support duties include:
- Support client enquiries by using in depth mental health skills to triage effectively
- Ensure appropriate and timely responses and assistance to clients by drawing on mental health training and experience.

Purpose of the post
This role will have a particular focus on managing the HDRUK contribution to our partnership with the EPSRC Digital Health Hubs in the South West and Wales (LEAP) and the North West and North Cumbria (NortHfutures) which aim to drive innovation in digital health by promoting knowledge and skills sharing across healthcare, academia and business but there will be opportunities and a requirement to contribute to the wider training offer and strategy. The successful individual will lead on strategic financial planning and financial day to day management at Girls Not Brides to advance our business model, financial sustainability and growth. The role ensures effective financial functions across the organisation, manages compliance with UK and overseas regulatory requirements, and works closely and hands on with other teams to oversee the preparation of proposals and budgets for prospective grants.
ABOUT YOU
We are looking for a passionate, talented senior finance professional with at least 5 years post qualified experience. You will have experience working in a similar senior-level finance role in the not-for-profit sector, international/intergovernmental organisation or social enterprise. You will have qualified and hold membership in a recognised professional accountancy body. Your qualification and experience will ensure you hold an advanced understanding of the principles underpinning financial management and planning, with significant all-round accounting, financial management, full grants cycle management, compliance, risk and financial sustainability experience. You will be experienced in year-end reporting and proficient in engaging with statutory and other auditors. Ideally you will bring experience gained in a similar international charity, working in a multi-currency environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Financial Leadership
· Lead on strategic financial planning and financial management at Girls Not Brides to advance the organisation’s business model, financial sustainability, and growth through long-range financial projection and planning, maximisation of income, and strong financial reporting.
