About the Role

This role is focused on delivering established communications strategies and plans over a 12-month fixed-term period. The Finance Manager role is a newly created role which is being introduced to strengthen the organisation’s financial management and control systems. The postholder will work across the breadth of the finance function preparing internal management accounts and external annual accounts.

In 2024, Cord changed its finance system to use Business Central. The Finance Manager will become the organisation’s main ‘admin’ user of the finance system. In the near-term, there will be a particular focus on rolling out further functionality of the system and developing financial policies and procedures. 

The Finance Manager will have oversight of the UK finance function through the line management of the UK Finance Officer and will directly deliver on the international side of operations in the areas of donor compliance, programme financial management, partner financial monitoring, and reporting. About You and The Role

Working as part of the Health & Care Quality team and within a designated geographical region (Southwest Region, which includes areas such as Hampshire, Wiltshire, Devon, Cornwall and South Wales), the SCI specialist nurse will support those with newly acquired spinal cord injuries who are not admitted to specialist services, or those with established spinal cord injuries who are being re-admitted to hospital for treatment unrelated to their impairment.

Through telephone, email or face-to-face visits the SCI specialist nurse will offer guidance and advice to these individuals and/or their family members, addressing issues of concern associated with treatment and care and liaising on their behalf with healthcare professionals in the treating hospitals to ensure these are dealt with in line with best practice standards.

The SCI specialist nurse will also act as an educator for healthcare professionals involved in the treatment and care of spinal cord injured people and working in non-specialist settings and will contribute to the development and delivery of educational offerings available via the SIA Frank Williams Academy. When required, the SCI nurse specialist will support individuals through elements of the NHS Continuing Health Care assessment process, attending review or appeal hearings in their capacity as clinical specialist in SCI care. They will also contribute to the monitoring, evaluation and development of the SCI specialist nurse service via mechanisms put in place for that purpose.

About the role

This new role will join our corporate partnerships team to build on our success of working with UK headquartered companies to raise vital funds to support our vision of a decent home for all. The role will focus exclusively on new partnerships and with scope to define what sectors are prioritised within the first year of post such as construction, logistics, transport, or manufacturing.

Key roles and responsibilities include:

• Identifying and engaging with prospective corporate partners, developing, and nurturing relationships to secure new partnerships
• Building and maintaining a robust pipeline of potential corporate supporters, leveraging your existing network, and researching new leads
• Creating compelling and tailored proposals, showcasing the value of partnerships and the positive impact they can have on our mission.
• Collaborating effectively with internal teams, senior leadership, and external stakeholders to drive successful partnerships.
• Providing regular updates on new business activities, pipeline progress, and partnership outcomes
• Representing at relevant events and conferences, expanding our reach within the corporate sector

The role will help to develop and increase income for Habitat GB from corporate partners. Reporting to the Head of Corporate Partnerships and working closely with our new business executive and partnership manager. Role Overview: 

As Charity Manager, you'll lead and guide All Ways Network (AWN) to achieve its charitable goals. This role involves working closely with the Board of Trustees to drive the charity’s strategic plans, manage operations, and build strong relationships with stakeholders. You'll play a pivotal part in scaling the organisation and overseeing its day-to-day functions, while fostering a supportive and productive environment for staff.
