We are looking for a self-motivated individual who can work efficiently and independently to help us create an exciting and dynamic marketing strategy to improve and increase our social media channels to reach our stakeholders and relevant communities. 

Main duties of the role

• Update social media, manage channels and grow YSS’s social media presence.
• Standardise branded materials for reports, presentations, bid submissions and other external communications.
• Assist in the development of the YSS website, ensuring it is up to date, dynamic, user friendly and factually correct.
• Adhere to company policies, particularly our Equity, Diversity and Inclusion policy, GDPR policy and Safeguarding policy.

What we're looking for:

• Knowledge of marketing and social media channels
• Experience of using relevant design software
• Disciplined in home working
• Ideas and up to date thinking to reach target audience
• Able to travel to the office when needed (e.g., occasional meetings in Worcester)

Chair of Finance, Audit and Risk Committee

Our client, a specialist grant-making charity, is dedicated to supporting women’s financial resilience and tackling gendered poverty in the UK. Since 2016, the organisation has awarded over £26 million in grants, delivering impact through individual hardship funding, community-led partnerships, and long-term systems change.

The charity is now seeking a new Chair of its Finance, Audit and Risk Committee, a pivotal governance role with responsibility for overseeing financial strategy, controls, and sustainability at Board level.

This is an opportunity for an experienced financial leader to contribute to a well-governed, values-driven organisation at a meaningful point in its development. The Chair will work closely with the Chief Executive and fellow trustees to ensure effective financial oversight, risk management, and robust decision-making. The International Council of Museums in the United Kingdom (ICOM UK) is seeking a new trustee with strong financial acumen and a passion for the museums and heritage sector and working internationally to be the Finance Lead on our Board. Your letters will cheer someone up and establish a trusting, supportive relationship with a client who might be lonely or socially isolated.

What tasks can this role include (some or all of the following):

• Writing letters to clients
• Building trust and companionship with a client through correspondence. Omega befriends a variety of people including: caregivers, the lonely, isolated or people with ill-health.
• Liaising with the Letterbox Team by email or post.
• Respecting service standards, appropriate boundaries and recognising the policies and procedures that are necessary when befriending adults at risk.
• Making suggestions to help us improve the service we provide to clients and Volunteer Pen pal Writers.

What we need from you

• A willingness to complete some training in order to provide high standards of cat welfare
• Introduce cats to prospective adopters so they can find their forever home

Time expectation

Our volunteer fosterers usually spend around one and a half hours per day (around 10 to 13 hours per week) in this role, but this might vary depending on the number of cats or kittens in care.

You’ll take a lead role at events on the day and inspire your fellow volunteers to get involved.

In this role you’ll be able to develop your organisation, communication, administration and negotiation skills.

Role Overview

We’re looking for a thoughtful, detail-oriented volunteer to help us review participant feedback and create a short internal impact summary following our July 2-day nonprofit workshop for Black and Brown changemakers. This is a short and flexible remote role, perfect for someone who loves meaningful data, stories, and mission-driven work.

Tasks Include:

• Reviewing responses from participant feedback forms (Google Form or PDF)
• Thematically organizing written responses (e.g., what people learned, what could be improved)
• Pulling out quotes for testimonials
• Light data entry and analysis (how many attended, how many would recommend, etc.)
• Helping create a one-page written summary or slide deck (optional but ideal)
