Inspire, Train, and Lead: Become a Ranger Cadets Adult Instructor / Leader!

Ranger Cadets is seeking dedicated volunteers to guide, train, and empower young people across England.

We are recruiting Adult Instructors, Lead Instructors, Trainers, and Assistant Cadet Unit Managers to support cadet units and areas local to where you live with energy, vision, and pride.

About Ranger Cadets:

Ranger Cadets is a new uniformed youth work organisation with a mission to equip young people with essential life skills, tools, and opportunities to become active citizens who make a positive contribution to society. Through training, service, and ceremonial identity, cadets grow in confidence, resilience, and pride—building a legacy of community impact.

Your Mission as Instructor / Leader:

  • Plan and deliver: Create positive, interactive, and engaging youth work activities.

  • Teach with purpose: Deliver the Ranger Cadets syllabus and support cadets to earn badges for their uniform.

  • Showcase with pride: Lead cadets into the community in uniform, demonstrating the positive role of young people in society.

  • Mentor with vision: Support cadets as they rise up the rank structure, guiding their journey of growth and leadership.
