Ace of Clubs (AoC) is an independent charity based in Clapham that supports individuals experiencing homelessness.  Each day we serve a hot meal to around 200 adults who are experiencing homelessness, adversity and hunger.  Alongside this we offer a range of other direct services including showers, clothing, laundry, health support and advice. 

This role is ideal for individuals looking to make a positive impact in the community while gaining valuable insight to the health/social care sector at a longstanding direct-service charity. As a Volunteer, you will mainly support our delivery of a high quality lunch service.

Duties include:

• Sorting through food donations
• Prepping and chopping ingredients for the lunch service
• Welcoming guests and signing them in at the front desk
• Serving hot lunch meals
• Serving coffee and teas to the guests
• Washing up plates, cutlery, and mugs
• Cleaning up after lunch service

Additionally, we are always seeking volunteers with skillsets in writing and admin on computers, social media, fundraising or communications.

Be part of something special and volunteer at MS Walk London. Join an incredible team of volunteers who will be helping to make MS Walk 2025 bigger and better than ever.

The 2025 event will have around 700 participants who will be walking through London on either the 1km, 5km, 10km or 20km route.

Together these participants will be hoping to raise over 100,000 for the MS Society to help support the MS Community.

There are various roles available on the day from making some noise and encouraging our walkers, to looking after the route and handing out medals at the finish.

Join our team of MS Walk volunteers and support everyone who is walking, rolling and strolling to stop MS.

You'll be required on Saturday 27th September 2025 for one day and there are various times throughout the day. Shifts will be from 2-6 hours depending on role and location.

There are no specific skills required just enthusiasm and a can-do attitude.’

Sutton Mental Health Foundation is looking to recruit a volunteer secretary position to the Trust Board, to support and assist the Chair and CEO.  This is an important and confidential role within the Trust.  The main areas of the role are, in consultation with the Chair and CEO, the preparation of all Board/AGM meetings, the preparation of Board/AGM papers, minute taking and writing up the minutes in a timely manner.  Other duties involve the support to the Trustees, as well as updating of trustee records.  Th board of trustees meets in-person, approximately every six weeks, in the London Borough of Sutton. As background information, Sutton Mental Health Foundation was established as a charity in 1994 and the aim of the Foundation is to support people with mental health needs in the Borough of Sutton, helping to keep them well and active and helping them to have a voice in mental health care in the Borough.  Our vision is to provide a community in Sutton which values mental wellbeing and understands how to respond positively to anxiety and distress.  The Foundation works together to promote mental wellbeing resilience and recovery from mental distress.

Our partner supports young people, who have experienced childhood trauma such as abuse, exclusion or violence in their communities, and have experience in health, youth justice and care services.

They are seeking a new Treasurer to take a lead on providing oversight of all financial aspects of the organisations on behalf of the Board of Trustees, as well as to share responsibility for the charity’s strategic direction, ensuring sound governance and staying true to its charitable objectives.

You will advise your fellow Trustees on financial issues, have oversight of internal financial controls and managing financial risks, and make sure that accurate and insightful financial information is provided both internally and externally, as required.

The board meets quarterly, on weekday evenings, in London and the total estimated time commitment required for the role is approximately 3-5 hours per week.
