is one of our 24-hour supported accommodation projects; it houses 29 young people aged 16 to 25 for up to 2 years, offering high to medium support with a support team, night team and management based onsite. Situated near the town centre in Worthing, the project has strong links with and contributes to the local community.
We are looking for Supported Housing Bank Support Workers to join the Worthing Foyer team - you will bring your own individual and unique qualities to the team for the betterment of the team dynamic. You will contribute to the smooth and safe running of the services, along with supporting young people to develop living skills such as cooking, cleaning, budgeting, managing behaviour, seeking and securing employment and making wise decisions. When required you will record any incidents, accidents and safeguarding issues and share information with relevant colleagues. You will also undertake housing management and health and safety-related tasks as required.
This role has a flexible range of shifts; the hours can include evenings, weekends and bank holidays.

- You will work towards completing the Level 2 apprenticeship in Adult Care with a local training provider. This will include achieving Level 1 in functional skills (Maths & English) if you haven’t already.

Lambeth Step Forward Recovery Cluster is an accommodation based service, set across Lambeth including hub sites situated in Brixton and West Norwood. The service provides care and support to over 60 customers living with enduring long term mental health. We also provide a service for two short-term post hospital discharge schemes for customers, who need support following hospital admission.
The role of our Support Worker play's a crucial role in fulfilling our customers expectations, making a positive difference and where appropriate supporting customers to step down to a lower level of support. Our Support Worker's are guided and mentored by 2 team leaders alongside a Contract Manager and as part of the team you will be developing and sustaining a good quality service to all our customers. An essential part of this role involves developing good partnership working with a range of professional's and maintaining excellent record keeping in line with our compliance management. More importantly, you will be required to oversee support planning, updating Risk Management Plans, and Keyworking. Windsor Road service offers 11 beds to people experiencing mental ill health. We are a CQC registered residential care home. We offer individual one to one interventions and sessions such as social anxiety, anxiety, finance and budgeting, positive self-image, building self-esteem, support with diet and nutrition, healthy eating, sleep hygiene, DBT skills, building resilience, life skills, solution-based therapy, stress management etc. We offer a range of activities in our service planner including a daily coffee morning, a ‘here and now’ group, community gardening, cooking, arts and crafts, social inclusion and family and friends’ days. We support our residents with daily living skills where this is needed, such as support with shopping and cleaning tasks, this could include prompting or supporting alongside them. We also work closely with other agencies and our residents wider care teams, so good communication skills are required. And of course, all of this is recorded on our information management systems, so good record keeping and documentation is also essential. Our service consists of 8 24/7 Recovery Workers, a Service Manager and Registered Manager.
We know that recovery can look and feel very different to each and every one of us. But we also know that if we provide the right support, at the right time, we can inspire recovery nationwide and that recovery is possible for everyone. That’s where you come in. Responsible for helping and inspiring the people who use our services to achieve independence in the community, we’ll rely on you to work with them to come up with a person-centred support plan that will see them achieve their goals and aspirations, as part of your key worker role. Whether it’s developing their domestic and finance management skills or accessing work or volunteering or educational opportunities, one thing’s for sure ‐ you will have every chance to shine.
Care home, mental health support or social care experience is preferred. You will be required to administer medication and complete a medication qualification and the care certificate. Candidates with an understanding of mental health issues and/or lived experience would be welcomed. More important is your caring and compassionate nature and empathy and enthusiasm for helping others. About the Role
- Located at a 24-hour supported housing service in Clapham, we provide high quality self-contained accmmodation for 15 women who have experienced homelessness and multiple disadvantage.
- The aim of the service is to provide a therapeutic environment in which women feel safe and can flourish, enabling them to move on into independent, permanent accommodation. The accommodation also includes overnight safe spaces.
- In this role, you will provide direct support to all the women, as well as holding a small case load of residents who you will keywork.
- You will work closely with support workers and the in-house psychologist.
- You will model person-led, psychological, gender, and culturally informed support, will be skilled at building trust and you will be a great team player.
- The post holder will undertake 8-hour shifts, normally Monday to Friday but with flexibility for weekend working, covering the hours 8am to 8pm. This is a 1 year fixed term contract.

Working in partnership with the London Borough of Newham and East London Foundation Trust, IBIS House supports people who are medically fit for discharge from mental health inpatient stays but have other barriers to discharge. These may include housing, living skills, accessing benefits or the community, or other interventions and will be on a person-centred basis. The main aim of the service is to provide short-term support to customers to link with longer-term services to reduce escalations in need, and reduce inpatient readmission and reduce pressure on inpatient beds.
Waking Night Support Workers are responsible for ensuring continuity of this support service at night and for keeping service-users and the building safe. More specifically, you will:
Understand the concept of recovery and apply those principles to develop an environment and service that enhances recovery.
Put the customer at the centre of their support and promote optimism and hope for their increased independence
Provide intensive support (both practical and emotional) to customers as required
Shifts will be on a rota pattern and are from 22:00 to 08:00. Includes weekends and bank holidays.
