Digital Engagement and Product Manager - Start date of 16th November - Maternity cover Until Dec 2021

A well know public sector organisation based in London. The role is to cover for Maternity leave.

Your new role
We are looking for a product lead who will drive through the vision for business' online community. This is a great opportunity for someone passionate about London to use their technical skills and online community know-how to generate moments for all Londoners to participate in meaningful debates and consultations, and to generate actions that could improve the capital. We're looking for an experienced all-rounder to own the strategy for growing a strong, inclusive and active community, ensuring that it continuously improves as a digital product. You'll take ownership of the roadmap, and oversee teams of developers to ensure that content, functionality, operation, UX and user journey are enhanced. You will harness all available insights to optimise community health and activity tactics. An excellent communicator, committed to building partnerships, you will play a pivotal role in building brand awareness, and will champion the use online community to stakeholders both within the organisation and with key external partners. The role is split 50/50 half is product ownership and development and then the other half is Digital Marketing through online content, paid and organic social media and email marketing.

What you'll need to succeed
To lead on delivering the vision and roadmap for online community, ensuring that it continuously improves as a digital product, grows and delivers healthy levels of activity in involving Londoners in sustained and meaningful debate, research and consultation. We are looking for a strong Digital Marketing professional who works in an agile way and has managed different online community products. You will have experience with B2C Digital Marketing, managing acquisition and retention of people within the online community. The successful candidate will have mixed experience from product delivery and digital marketing, managed a consumer/user focused website as well as managing a number of different external agencies
