Job description

Programme Content Development Manager

Contract Type: 12-month fixed term
Hours: Full time, 35 hours per week

Closing Date: 23rd March 2020

Interviews will be held on: 1st April 2020

This role will be based primarily in our London office near Regents Park.

Prince’s Trust International believes every young person should have the chance to succeed.

Our international programmes staff capitalise on the knowledge and experience of Prince’s Trust UK and use it to co-design solutions with local partners around the world, working with young people to develop education and employability skills.

However, the UK-based tools and resources often need significant adaptation to be suitable for international contexts. We are looking for a content designer who can manage this adaptation – this includes creating supplementary learning materials, managing content libraries and editing and improving written resources.

Ideally, we are looking for someone with experience in creating toolkits and resources aimed at improving the employability skills of young people. You will have experience working with content that has an educational aim and are able to create new learning resources, this may include session plans for our overseas partners or content for youth-focused digital channels.

You must be an excellent collaborator, able to draw on the cross-organisational expertise in youth work, volunteering, education, enterprise and employment, to enhance the content or experiences of young people and improve their lives.

You will also be highly organised and analytical in nature, able to work calmly and prioritise workload objectively. You will be passionate about developing resources for young people, with a strong interest in Prince’s Trust International’s target audience.

Although experience working internationally is highly desirable, it is not required. Candidates who can demonstrate a significant amount of experience working within youth-focused content production are also encouraged to apply.

To learn more about the role, please visit our website.

The Prince's Trust International is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. As part of this commitment we undertake basic disclosure checks in accordance with the Codes of Practice for all roles within the Trust, and for our roles working directly with young people, at an enhanced level. Having a criminal record will not automatically exclude applicants.
