We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Impact & Evaluation Adviser to join our UK Impact team and lead on developing the best practice design, and ethical oversight of the research, evaluation and learning initiatives we undertake across the UK. This is a senior, strategic role for someone with deep expertise in both qualitative and quantitative research methods, participatory approaches, and complex systems evaluation. The Senior Impact & Evaluation Adviser is based in our UK Impact (UKI) department. The department is responsible for driving the delivery of the UK Impact goal in our strategy. Our vision is to make sure families in the UK have the money, services, and power to end child poverty. It's our mission to help build communities of people who care about children, listen to what's important to them and work together to make things better.
About the Role
The Senior Impact & Evaluation Adviser will provide expert advice on impact, evaluation, and evidence strategies to impact and learning colleagues in UK country teams (who will lead on individual project design, implementation, data collection and analysis). They will support and provide capacity building for colleagues to embed high-quality design, impact measurement, and evaluation into major new initiatives; and lead UKI's approach to ethical research.
We are looking for someone with extensive experience applying a range of qualitative and quantitative methods in social change research. This includes experience in at least one of the following: participatory research (ideally with adults and children), place-based and/or systems change evaluation, and research that explores public attitudes. Ethical rigor is at the heart of what we do, and you will lead our approach to research ethics, ensuring all work meets the highest professional and ethical standards.
In this role, you will:
• Provide expert advice to impact, evaluation, and learning colleagues in country teams on impact frameworks, evidence strategies, evaluation methods, and data strategies – for both place-based work and advocacy strategies
• Ensure that expert advice on impact and evidence strategies balances the need for rigour and pragmatism; reflects the priorities of our impact strategies; and responds appropriately to funder priorities
• Support colleagues with the implementation of impact and evidence strategies, helping colleagues in country teams to overcome challenges with data collection and analysis where needed
• Support colleagues with commissioning external support for evidence and learning, for example, by drawing on external professional networks; and advising on specifications
• Support fundraising by advising senior colleagues on project design, impact measurement, and evaluation approaches for major new initiatives
• Lead work with a range of colleagues to identify and respond to professional development needs and opportunities around impact measurement and evaluation
• Explore opportunities for shared learning and practice improvement across impact, evaluation, and learning with SCUK colleagues and partners, such as by convening internal or external networks / communities of practice
• Oversee the current UKI approach to research ethics and associated processes, including leading on immediate improvements; and contribute to the further development of ethical approaches to our work
• Build and maintain excellent external networks in relevant fields; and stay up-to-date with the latest literature and debates on impact, evaluation, and evidence strategies in complex social change
We are looking for someone with the following experience, competencies, and skills:
• Significant experience of designing and implementing evaluation or research strategies to support social change in complex systems
• Extensive experience applying a range of qualitative and quantitative methods in evaluation, impact measurement, and evidence generation
• Experience in participatory research with adults and children, place-based and/or systems change evaluation, and ideally public attitudes research
• In-depth knowledge of research and evaluation ethics, including ethics review processes
• Proven ability to coach and advise others in an empowering way that builds the skills and expertise of colleagues
• Proven ability to communicate and build support for the purpose and execution of different impact, evaluation, and evidence approaches to non-specialists
• Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to understand the needs of others and offer pragmatic solutions
• Ability to work across multiple projects and teams at the same time; prioritise own time well to meet agreed objectives; and set clear boundaries for own workload
• Ability to travel around the UK and Ireland to meet colleagues, partners, and families, with sufficient notice – around 4-6 times a year

Location & Ways of Working:
The majority of our roles can be performed remotely in the UK, but at times you will be required to come to your contracted office (usually between 2–4 days per month, depending on the needs of your role, team, or service). The National Society for Education (NSE) is both an NCI and a Royal-charter charity. It's aims are to support Church schools and the wider education sector by developing leaders, shaping policy and growing faith.
The NSE leads the Church of England's national work in education in partnership with 41 Diocesan Boards of Education and approximately 4,700 Church of England schools. We also support the national education work of the Church in Wales, which includes around 150 schools. Our presence extends to work with community schools and academy trusts, as well as higher and further education through numerous chaplaincies, providing spiritual support and guidance to children and young people, and to adults.
The Church of England's Vision and Strategy for the 2020s has three priorities, one of which is to be a church which is younger and more diverse. The NSE is working with the Vision and Strategy team to help deliver this vision through a range of projects in our 'growing faith' pillar which focus on the intersection between church, home and school; aiming to develop the faith life of children and young people, whilst also growing young leaders.

What you'll be doing
The purpose of this role is to design, develop and implement the Archbishops' Young Leaders Award (AYLA). The AYLA is an existing programme that is offered across all key stages 1 to 4 to participating schools. The Award is completed by pupils and learners across England and Wales and is aimed at developing their leadership skills. The role is expected to lead and manage the effective delivery of this programme including design, quality assurance, engagement of strategic stakeholders and support the financial sustainability of the programme.

The Programme Officer is a newly created role to respond to the needs of the new strategy. They will manage strategic charity partnerships and deliver programmes and projects that support youth employability across the UK. Whilst managing partners and projects, this role will report on impact data, communicate the purpose and impact of DHL UK Foundation, and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
Key responsibilities:
* Partnership Management: Project manage, support and build strong relationships with strategic charity partners to maximise the impact of grant funding, monitor progress and performance against agreed metrics and prepare reports.
* Project Management: Deliver projects that leverage DHL's expertise and resources to support charity partners and the young people they serve; support the employee volunteering programme, GoTeach, to ensure it meets objectives and delivers impact.
* Data Reporting: Collate, analyse, and present impact data to demonstrate the effectiveness of partners and programmes, working with an external evaluator, and prepare reports and dashboards for the DHL UK Foundation's Board, DHL employees and external stakeholders.
* Communications: confidently communicate the DHL UK Foundation's purpose and impact through presentations, reports, case studies and digital content, and represent the DHL UK Foundation to the DHL business through presenting at meetings and events, both virtually and in person.
The Programme Officer will have experience working in partnership with charities and managing projects in the charity or corporate responsibility sector. You will have a passion for making a difference to the lives of underserved young people and be able to demonstrate strong relationship management and communication skills. You will have an analytical approach with data reporting experience, and strong organisational skills and proficient in utilising Microsoft suite including Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint. You will be able to think critically to innovate, and problem solve and be able to work independently and collaboratively, both in the office and remotely.
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of youth employability and social mobility in the UK, experience of communicating and presenting to stakeholders in the corporate sector, familiarity with CRM or impact measurement tools and experience with corporate volunteering.
The role is hybrid so you will be based from home for part of the week but you will be happy and committed to travel to DHL UK Foundation offices 2-3 times a week in either Staines, London or Milton Keynes, either by car or by public transport. Travel expenses are covered but you will need to live in reasonable commutable distance to one of these locations (ideally Staines or London). Access to a car, whilst not essential, would be helpful for you for this role.

ABOUT THE ROLE
As Fundraising and Communications Coordinator, your main focus will be trusts and foundations: researching opportunities, writing persuasive applications and producing clear reports. You’ll also play a part in growing support from corporates, community fundraising, individual donors and major gifts, helping to build a broader base of income over time.
Alongside this, you’ll lead on communications. That means keeping our website and social channels current, producing supporter newsletters, and sharing our story more widely through PR and campaigns. You’ll help make sure the difference TRAIN makes for young people is seen and understood by funders, partners and the local community.
It’s a hands-on role, well-suited to someone who enjoys writing, building relationships and juggling different projects. You don’t need to be an experienced fundraiser — we’re open to people with transferable skills, whether from corporate, public or third sector backgrounds. What matters most is that you can communicate clearly, organise your workload, and are motivated by making a difference for young people.
You’ll report directly to the CEO and work closely with the rest of the team. This is a part-time role of approximately 30 hours per week, which can be worked flexibly. The role is based in Didcot with hybrid working, but for the right candidate we will consider a fully remote arrangement.
SALARY AND BENEFITS
- Salary: £28,598 - £31,022 FTE (pro-rated, depending on experience)
- Contract: Permanent, part-time, approx. 30 hours per week. We can be flexible on the exact number and when they are worked.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Fundraising (approx. 80%)
- Pipeline and planning – work with the CEO to keep a clear fundraising plan, with trusts and foundations as the main focus alongside manageable growth in corporates, community, and individual giving.
- Trusts and foundations – research prospects, build a live pipeline, and write strong, tailored bids. Prepare accurate budgets and gather evidence from the team to strengthen proposals.
- Reporting and stewardship – deliver timely reports, thank funders and donors well, and manage renewals and uplift opportunities.
- Relationship development – nurture links with local businesses, community groups and potential major donors. Prepare simple proposals and support fundraising events or activities as needed.
- Systems and compliance – maintain accurate records of applications, deadlines and outcomes. Ensure fundraising activity is compliant with GDPR and charity regulations.
Communications (approx. 20%)
- Supporter communications – produce engaging newsletters, updates and thank-yous that connect donors and partners with TRAIN’s impact.
- Digital presence – update the website and social media channels with accurate, timely content that reflects TRAIN’s work and values.
- PR and profile – share stories with local media, partners and networks. Ensure TRAIN’s messaging is clear, consistent and accessible.
- Community engagement – promote TRAIN’s profile, youth offer, brand and presence in the community.
General
- Work closely with the CEO to align fundraising and comms priorities.
- Collaborate with youth work staff to gather stories, quotes and data that demonstrate TRAIN’s impact.
- Represent TRAIN at meetings and community events.
- Contribute to the life of a small, collaborative team.

What matters most is that you can write clearly and persuasively, build relationships with people, and organise your workload to meet deadlines. - Experience in marketing, PR, or communications (e.g. social media, newsletters, supporter comms).
- Familiarity with CRM or pipeline management tools.
- Knowledge of charity fundraising regulation and GDPR.
- Confidence in representing an organisation at events or meetings.

About the opportunity

We are now recruiting for a Programme Coordinator for our schools in Bristol. The role will also oversee our partner schools in Dorset remotely, with infrequent travel to Dorset.
- The Bristol Programme Coordinator oversees a caseload of up to seven partner schools. Duties and responsibilities

OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE
Beacon, now in its second decade of operation, has experienced substantial growth over the last three years, including an organisational rebrand and expansion into international projects. We are now recruiting a Senior Patient and Scientific Engagement Officer to play a central role in delivering ambitious projects that put patients at the heart of translational research.
This role sits at the crossroads of patient involvement and scientific communication, building meaningful collaborations between patients, researchers, and other stakeholders. You’ll provide essential operational support and subject expertise to ensure projects run smoothly and reflect the real-world needs of the rare disease community.
You will contribute primarily to two of Beacon’s major collaborative initiatives: REMEDi4ALL, a European-wide drug repurposing platform with over 25 partner organisations, and the LifeArc Translational Research Centres for Rare Disease (LifeArc TrC4RD), a UK-wide partnership. In this role, you will work directly and regularly with partners across these consortia, encompassing patient group leaders, patient representatives, academic researchers, clinical trialists, and beyond. Location: Remote (UK only) with a minimum of 5 mandatory meetings per year (includes overnight stays for 2-day meetings) at our office in Shrewsbury and occasional meetings elsewhere.
Contract: Permanent, Full-time (37.5 hours per week)
Salary: £33,000 - £36,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Benefits: Matched pension contributions (7% of salary after probation), 5 weeks' annual leave plus bank holidays, and a discretionary Christmas shutdown.

The Role
As Corporate and Trusts Fundraiser, you'll take ownership of your fundraising portfolio, focusing on maximising income from corporate partnerships, Trusts and Foundations (both UK and international). You'll build and manage your own portfolio of donors, identify new opportunities, and provide exceptional stewardship to secure ongoing support. Collaboration and adaptability across this small, yet impactful organisation is key, as is a passion for creating positive change.
Your Responsibilities:
- Build and manage a portfolio of corporate supporters, trusts and foundations to maximise income and awareness.
- Develop a robust pipeline of funding applications, securing grants from high value trusts, foundations, statutory bodies and corporates.
- Develop and nurture relationships with existing and prospective funders, delivering outstanding stewardship.
- Research and identify new opportunities, delivering pitches that align with companies' values and ESG goals.
- Organise and support corporate fundraising events, both in-person and online.
- Write persuasive proposals, reports, and donor updates that showcase the impact of our work.
- Maintain accurate donor records and ensure timely reporting to funders in line with donation conditions while driving unrestricted and restricted income opportunities.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop social media content that engages supporters.
- Work closely with Head of Fundraising to ensure key fundraising objectives are achieved.
- Uphold and embed Village Water values and behaviour expectations in your work.
- Ensure communications are in line with the Fundraising Regulator guidelines.
- Act as an ambassador for Village Water, representing the charity at networking events.

Your experience will include:
- A proven track record of securing funds from Trusts and new corporate partners, including awards exceeding £20,000.
- Confidence and experience delivering engaging presentations to diverse audiences.
- Exceptional relationship-building skills to ensure long-term donor support.
- Strong written skills for crafting compelling cases for support, donor updates and grant applications.
- Financial acumen, with the ability to interpret budgets and funding data.
- Proficiency in using databases to monitor fundraising performance.
