About the Role:

About the role
Joining our dedicated team of nurses, you will support our helpline and Ask Our Nurses (AON).
The nursing team includes an associate director, senior clinical nurse specialists, clinical nurse specialists, sessional nurses and trained helpline staff.
You will act as a resource for clients, healthcare professionals and the wider public about breast health and breast cancer. This includes providing information and support to clients though our national helpline, by email and social media.
The helpline service is run throughout the week, and on Saturday mornings (the latter is optional, other than training days) and the helpline hours are 8:45am to 4.00pm. Team training usually occurs twice a year on Saturdays. You’ll be supported by a senior clinical nurse specialist and have regular clinical supervision. We are looking for candidates who can work at least one day (6.25 hours) per week

About the Role
We are looking for an ambitious and experienced practitioner to join Become’s Care Advice Service. They will respond to enquiries to our independent national Care Advice Line (CAL), advising children and young people in and leaving care, and professionals and caregivers supporting them, so that young people understand and access their rights, are signposted to specialist support, and feel less alone as they navigate care. They will deliver workshops and advice surgeries in the West Midlands, advising care experienced young people and care leavers to understand their rights.
Location
We are currently hybrid working: our team primarily works from home with in-person attendance and meetings generally expected once or twice per month, usually at our central hot-desking location in Old Street, London. For non-London based staff we will consider hot-desking options near you, if required. This role will deliver regular in-person workshops and advice surgeries in the West Midlands. As such Become is unable to meet the cost of travel for this from other regions, or the accumulation of TOIL for travelling to or from the region. However, any travel required within the West Midlands region for work purposes and required travel to our London office will be reimbursed by Become, as London is not the specified location for this role. About The Role
We are recruiting for a Direct Response Marketing Officer to join on a full-time, permanent contract, working 35 hours per week.
As Direct Response Marketing Officer you will manage and deliver multi-channel marketing campaigns, driving participation for our sports, challenge, and mass event program. By working with different teams across the organisation and our media agency and external stakeholders, you will brief, optimise and evaluate marketing campaigns.
You will monitor the results of communications, make recommendations to help inform and improve future campaigns and provide timely and accurate updates on key campaign metrics to senior stakeholders.
Every day will be different, for example, the role can include writing compelling marketing copy for a campaign, working with internal and external designers to develop creative ideas, or producing a post-campaign report.

About you
Joining us, you’ll have experience of planning, developing and delivering paid, multi-channel marketing campaigns. The Schools Triathlon is a fun, mass participation sporting event for 7–13 year olds. Its mission? To get more young people moving, having fun, and discovering the power of fundraising. You’ll gain hands-on experience working with a wide range of stakeholders, including our volunteer Schools Triathlon Committee, schools, pupils, parents, and event delivery partners. A big part of your role will involve delivering fun and engaging school assemblies, encouraging pupils to take part and fundraise for Restless Development.
Alongside this outward-facing work, you’ll provide essential administrative and operational support behind the scenes. This will include managing participant data in Excel, Eventrac, and Salesforce; uploading and running reports; processing donations (including cash and cheques); and ensuring our records are accurate and up to date.
You’ll also be the first point of contact for event participants and their families, providing warm, professional support through email and phone queries.

Key Responsibilities:
Systems and processes (30%)
- Manage the assembly tracker to ensure it is kept up to date, with relevant members of the team notified when new assemblies are booked in
- Maintain accurate records across our registration platform (Eventrac), our CRM system (Salesforce) and Excel, including registrations, fundraising data, and supporter information.
- Monitor and track fundraising progress for over 11,000 participants, encouraging and supporting them to reach their goals.
- Manage JustGiving pages, ensuring all fundraising activity is accurately logged.
- Liaise with Finance to process donations (online, offline, and cheques), allocate income correctly, and thank supporters promptly.
- Support with the merchandise and fulfillment process
- Occasional website updates.
Fundraising and relationship management (30%)
- Be the first point of contact for schools, parents, and participants via the Schools Triathlon inbox.
- Book and coordinate school assemblies, and deliver assemblies or fundraising workshops.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with schools, pupils, and parents, thanking and supporting them throughout their fundraising journey.
- Provide admin support to the Restless Development US Board, including coordinating quarterly meetings.
- Attend meetings with third party suppliers and schools when necessary
- Support on wider charity initiatives as and when needed
Event management and Communications (30%)
- Support the planning and delivery of two Schools Triathlon events, including site visits, logistics, and on-the-day support.
- Coordinate event communications, including assembly slides, parent invites, and regular registration reports.
- Work collaboratively with the Schools Triathlon team to ensure smooth delivery of all events.
Others (10%)
- Support the Senior Fundraising Manager with developing an individual giving process.
- Attend Schools Triathlon events (April–June) and occasional evening/weekend work for which Time Off In Lieu (TOIL) will be provided.
- Regular travel to schools is required, so access to a reliable vehicle is essential (travel costs will be reimbursed).
- Carry out any other duties as required to support the fundraising team.

About the role
We are seeking a motivated and passionate Leadership Giving Officer to cultivate and solicit gifts from alumni who have the capacity to make donations to the university of between £1,000 and £50,000.
You will be working in an exciting and varied role that blends marketing and fundraising skills as part of the Leadership Giving team within the Philanthropy & Alumni Engagement department. We are a warm, collaborative, and enthusiastic team with a passion for innovative fundraising for meaningful impact.
The postholder will support fundraising for exciting and impactful initiatives across the university. The primary responsibility of the role is to manage two of the flagship Leadership Giving Programmes: the Kingsmaker Guild and Key to King’s. As the IT System Administrator, you will be responsible for the development, administration and optimisation of Cruse’s Microsoft 365 environment and wider IT cloud infrastructure.

Cruse operates a cloud IT infrastructure providing IT services to staff and volunteers based across the UK and Northern Ireland. Microsoft 365 is the main IT service, but there will also be other IT systems you will need to become familiar with in this role.
Cruse makes use of a managed services IT support provider and numerous application and service provider support teams; you will be required to work with these teams making sure our issues are resolved quickly and with minimum disruption.
As part of your role, you will be involved in BAU and project work and be comfortable with competing priorities and pressures.

- Experience building positive relationships and working collaboratively to achieve outcomes; able to positively challenge, negotiate and compromise.
- The ability to work on your own initiative while contributing to team priorities and sustain enthusiasm under pressure.
- Experience analysing evidence to develop recommendations.
- Knowledge the issues facing children and young people with a learning disability and/or the SEND system, as well as the wider parliamentary system.
- Passion about making the world a better place for people with a learning disability.
