The Role

As the Chief People Officer, you will lead the strategic development and operational delivery of the organisation’s people agenda, with responsibility for driving excellence across learning and organisational development, recruitment and shared services, employee relations, equality, diversity and inclusion, as well as involvement and volunteering.

About You

We are looking for a Chief People Officer with the ability to shape and execute an integrated people and organisational development strategy that supports both care outcomes and social change. You will have:

• Substantial senior leadership experience in people management, organisational development, and EDI within a care, support, health, or social impact organisation.
• Proven ability to develop and implement people strategies that enhance organisational performance and employee experience.
• Strong track record of leading EDI initiatives that promote inclusivity and diversity.
• Experience in organisational development, including change management, learning and development, and performance management.
• Demonstrated success in building and leading multidisciplinary teams across HR, EDI, and organisational development functions.
• Membership of CIPD.

About the charity

Working as part of a new in-house team, you will use a range of communications and marketing channels to spread key messages among communities and affect behaviours among target demographics. You will build relationships with local and national partners including the media, and manage campaign activities and events. You will also support activity across your team, including preparing copy for newsletters, websites and social media in support of campaign priorities.

Core responsibilities within your role will be to:

• Work with the Campaign Planning Manager to understand campaign goals and target audiences, and develop, tailor and disseminate campaign messaging
• Plan and deliver a regular content schedule for social media pages and other channels working alongside colleagues to decide priorities
• Support online and in-person campaign activation events
• Support management of campaign creative and media agencies
• Write press releases, articles and quotes, working closely with media partners to deliver coverage containing key campaign messaging
• Build relationships and work with local partners, including schools, libraries, early years settings, business, authors and illustrators, cultural partners and key local figures
• Work with the Campaign Manager to develop an evaluation framework for campaign activity and prepare updates for stakeholders and funders
• Monitor and moderate contributions to the campaign website using the content management system
• Proofread and edit content as required

• Recent strong experience in a communication role with campaigning responsibilities
• Experience managing digital and social media accounts
• Working with case studies and beneficiaries to share their story and secure media coverage of their experiences

The Access is Justice Foundation is seeking a Grants Officer who will join our Grants Team to provide ongoing administrative, operational, and data management support for our grant making activity, working alongside others in the Grants Team. About the Role

As a Caller Support Officer, you will:

• Provide expert advice and guidance on caller support policies and procedures to volunteers and staff.
• Work closely with branches, the Caller Support & Safeguarding Hub, and Central Office to ensure consistent, high-quality support.
• Help manage support for callers with complex mental health needs, ensuring appropriate boundaries and reducing dependency on the service.
• Be a key point of contact for police, coroners, court officials, and other external agencies.
• Support the triaging of caller concern forms and work closely with callers to create safe effective support plans that meet their needs within the boundaries of the service.
• Uphold Samaritans’ zero-tolerance approach to any abuse of threatening behaviours towards volunteers and staff

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking someone who:

• Has experience with working in a helpline setting, to support volunteers to deliver safe and effective emotional support to individuals in distress or with complex emotional/mental health needs, ideally in a helpline setting.
• Understands safeguarding legislation and has experience applying it in practice.
• Is confident managing sensitive and sometimes confrontational situations.
• Can work independently and manage a varied workload effectively.
• Has experience working with external agencies such as police and court officials.
• Is emotionally resilient and able to handle distressing information with professionalism and care.

Criminal record check (DBS):

We are looking for a Football Development Officer to support the delivery of TeamUCL's new focus sport, football. The role combines coaching delivery with desk-based sports administration. We are looking for someone passionate about developing football in all forms; an experienced coach who is confident delivering a range of activity.

After ten successful years of growth, underpinned by a strong mission and successful fundraising, the Chineke! Foundation is looking for a Projects Director who will help ensure that the production and organisation of projects match their artistic ambition.

You will play an important role in the continued growth and evolution of the organisation. You will work closely with the Projects Team and lead on planning, selling and delivery. You will communicate the development of any new projects whilst overseeing the pre-existing engagements and work closely with our touring agents at Askonas Holt. Reporting to the Managing Director and working as part of our dynamic team of management staff you will play a vital role in the organisation.

Job description

Reporting to the Managing Director and in coordination with the Artistic Director and Deputy Artistic Director, you will handle the orchestra’s diary, lead on the production of projects and line manage the Orchestra & Tour Manager and our Production freelancers.

Your responsibilities will be:

· Attending all Chineke! rehearsals, projects and tours

· Working closely with the artistic team to assist on curation of programmes, keeping track of conductor/soloist invites and handling contracting once bookings have been confirmed

· Meeting with venues to generate interest in our future programmes and secure concert dates to build out regional tours around core Southbank Centre dates

· Keeping the Development Director and Marketing and Communications Manager up to date on projects and future plans

· Keeping track of our National Portfolio Organisation requirements with Arts Council and planning projects to meet our targets on the number of concerts in each category that we have committed to in each financial year

· Working closely with our important partners i.e. Askonas Holt, Southbank Centre, Woolwich Works, Royal Albert Hall

· Working closely with the Artistic Team and Managing Director to ensure that our performance plans align with our mission and 5 Year Development Plan

· Producing and negotiating contracts to engagements (conductors, soloists, with venues/festivals, tours, commercial engagements etc.)

· Contributing to a supportive and collegiate culture within the Chineke! Foundation

The post holder will work closely with the Head of Education and Development to support the delivery of BASHH’s broad programme of education and training. They will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of the STI Foundation and will provide executive support for the STI Foundation Steering Group and BASHH’s Education Committee.

They will also support the BASHH membership function to ensure that BASHH meets the changing needs of our members and drives forward the agenda for better sexual health and HIV care for all.

Joining at an exciting time for BASHH, the post-holder will ensure the continued integrity and credibility of BASHH’s extensive education and training offering, playing a significant role in equipping our world-class genitourinary medicine workforce to build, adapt to and influence change at a national and global level.

About the PVRI
We’re a small charity with a global reach and an important purpose: to reduce the burden of pulmonary vascular disease (PVD) - a serious condition that can lead to heart damage and trigger symptoms like breathlessness, chest pain, fatigue, poor growth, fainting, and light-headedness. PVD can reduce both quality of life and length of life, but it isn’t widely recognised or well-understood.

Our aim is to improve clinical care, education, and PVD research. To do this, we bring together an international network of thousands of clinicians, scientists, academics, and industry partners supported by our small team based in Bermondsey, London. Together, we deliver conferences, e-learning, and an academic journal, raise awareness of PVD, and encourage collaboration in research.

About the role
We are seeking a Marketing Officer to help grow and service the charity's profile and international membership, increase the value of our membership offer, increase our income generation, work with the team to run successful events, and deliver our e-learning programmes. You’ll help ensure our members are informed about the latest developments and learning opportunities, and they’re valued for their contributions to the PVRI. No two days are the same. One day, you might be writing content for our website and social media channels, and the next, you might be welcoming respected speakers and attendees from over 30 countries to our scientific webinar.

We are looking for someone with excellent written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail. You’ll need to create successful marketing plans and grow our membership. You will also bring excellent organisational skills and the ability to co-ordinate high-quality webinars.

About OCD Action:

We have a vision of a time when OCD is well understood, and everyone gets the treatment and support they need when they need it. With the OCD community, we are fighting for this. Until that day arrives, our aims are:
1) that everyone affected by OCD has access to the high-quality support, information and guidance they need to enable them to access the right treatment;
2) that no one affected by OCD feels that they must face it alone.
To do this we raise awareness of the reality of living with OCD and its treatability, provide a helpline, over 50 support groups, online forums and a range of youth services.

About this role:

This new role has been established to ensure the effective planning, co-ordination and delivery of our three key events over the next year:

• our National Conference
• our Carol Service
• our spring fundraising event.

As a successful Senior Events Officer you will work with people from across the charity, from Trustees to experienced administrators. You will build and maintain strong working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, including our small staff team, trustee Board, event speakers and suppliers. You will act as a key liaison for speakers and attendees ensuring all are left with the highest opinion of OCD Action. You will have a track record of managing event logistics, and be confident in developing event project plans and risk management plans. You will have project management experience and a solutions-focused approach. Ideally you will have a good understanding of event ticketing and will previously have used a CRM system to manage relationships with event attendees. Through this role you will be key to OCD Actions work and to delivering our vision and strategy.
