This role goes beyond traditional HR, and will help to deliver significant systemic change within ATLEU and, through sharing our learning, for survivors of trafficking across the advice and anti-trafficking workforces. The successful candidate will strengthen ATLEU’s organisational capacity to become a lived experience advice sector employer, integrate exceptional people management and ensure that every employee is equipped to thrive in their role.

In the coming months we will be reviewing our structure to better align it with our purpose and strategy, which will include establishing a new executive and leadership team and this appointment of a People and Inclusion Manager. This is a role for anyone with at least three years of HR experience and a strong interest in taking on a new challenge in an organisation with a commitment to maintaining and strengthening its people and culture and, to build its capacity to provide employment pathways for survivors of trafficking and slavery within the advice sector.

You will work closely under the supervision of the Head of Operations to develop and deliver a People, Culture and Inclusion strategy. You will provide efficient and effective management of Human Resources (HR) services and ensure ATLEU’s values and culture are woven into all areas of our activities. About the PVRI
We’re a small charity with a global reach and an important purpose: to reduce the burden of pulmonary vascular disease (PVD) - a serious condition that can lead to heart damage and trigger symptoms like breathlessness, chest pain, fatigue, poor growth, fainting, and light-headedness. About the role
We are seeking a Marketing Officer to help grow and service the charity's profile and international membership, increase the value of our membership offer, increase our income generation, work with the team to run successful events, and deliver our e-learning programmes. You’ll help ensure our members are informed about the latest developments and learning opportunities, and they’re valued for their contributions to the PVRI. No two days are the same. One day, you might be writing content for our website and social media channels, and the next, you might be welcoming respected speakers and attendees from over 30 countries to our scientific webinar.

We are looking for someone with excellent written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail. You’ll need to create successful marketing plans and grow our membership. You will also bring excellent organisational skills and the ability to co-ordinate high-quality webinars.

Our Personal Safety Project (PSP) is a free service which aims to help older people who have fallen or are at risk of falling at home. The service is available to anyone aged 50 and over who lives in the borough of Croydon.

Our trained assessors carry out a comprehensive risk assessment to identify potential causes of falls and hazards in the home and can arrange for stair rails, grab handles and other necessary aids to be supplied and/or fitted, free of charge. The project can provide ongoing telephone support for up to six weeks to monitor the risk of further falls post engagement.

You will lead the Community Fundraising and Individual Giving team to inspire support and donations from groups, organisations and individuals in local communities across England, Wales and Northern Ireland. 1. Job Purpose

The Senior Mental Health Support Worker will provide time-limited, one-to-one emotional and practical support to individuals experiencing low to moderate mental health challenges, including those with complex needs. What You’ll Do
Support our AI Programme

• Be the first point of contact for AI-related queries and stakeholders.
• Organise and support meetings with leading experts in healthcare AI.
• Coordinate events, maintain documentation, and track project progress.
• Help ensure the RCR remains a leading voice in healthcare AI.

Deliver High-Impact Data Projects

• Support the planning, delivery, and analysis of our annual workforce censuses.
• Maintain contact lists, track responses, and validate data.
• Assist with data visualisation and reporting (training provided).
• Help produce reports that influence media, government, and NHS workforce planning.

General Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Draft correspondence, reports, and briefings.
• Uphold data protection and confidentiality standards.

What You’ll Need

About the GOC

We are the regulator for the optical professions in the UK. Our purpose is to protect the public by promoting high standards of education, performance and conduct.  For more information about us please visit our website:optical. org.

About the Council

The role of Council is to lead on the GOC’s mission to protect the public by upholding high standards in eye care services.  The Council is composed of six lay members (including the Chair) and six registrant members (i.e. registered optometrists and dispensing opticians).  At least one member of the Council must work wholly or mainly in each of England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales.  One Council member acts as a Senior Council Member whose role is to carry out the Chair’s appraisal as well as provide a sounding board for the Chair and serve as an intermediary for Council members, Executive and stakeholders as necessary. 

The successful candidate will contribute to Council by exercising oversight, ensuring effective corporate governance, and making high-level policy decisions. They will be able to operate strategically and impartially; listen, communicate, and influence effectively; exercise judgment; and inspire confidence and support amongst our stakeholders. 

Remuneration and time commitment

Council members are remunerated in accordance with our member fees policy (£13,962 per annum plus reasonable travel and subsistence expenses).  The member fee includes time for reading and preparation.

The appointed member will be expected to commit approximately 2-3 days per month.  Meetings will usually take place via MS Teams but may on occasion be held at the GOC Offices at Level 29, One Canada Square, London, E14 5AA. There are occasional online catch-up meetings - these are currently scheduled on a Tuesday evening every 6-8 weeks, from 5.30pm – 6.30pm.

• Supporting imaging services on their QSI journey with accurate record-keeping and communications.
• Coordinating meetings and webinars, including preparing agendas, minutes, and logistics.
• Assisting with the planning and delivery of our annual QSI conference and monthly events.
• Managing financial tracking and administrative tasks with precision.
• Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to keep everything running smoothly.

What you'll need:

• Proven administrative experience, ideally in a team-based environment, with a professional and responsive approach to internal and external contacts.
