About the Role
 
As Professional Recognition and Apprenticeships Manager, you’ll take responsibility for all policies, processes, and operations involved in the Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner apprenticeship and professional recognition activities, including the Coaching Psychology route. You’ll manage a small team, work closely with internal and external stakeholders, and drive improvements to ensure quality, compliance, and candidate satisfaction.
 
This role is ideal for someone with a strong operational focus, assessment and awarding experience, and a background in awarding organisations.

Key Responsibilities
 

• Manage all operations relating to Apprenticeship End Point Assessment
• Oversee professional recognition routes, including Coaching Psychology
• Lead the planning, development, delivery, and quality assurance of assessment and awarding activities
• Collaborate with internal teams (Governance, Finance, IT, Marketing & Communications) and external stakeholders (Ofqual, Skills England, professional bodies, employers, apprenticeship providers)
• Monitor and report on key metrics and financial data
• Design and implement assessment and award strategies in partnership with committees and board members
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and government initiatives
• Evaluate solutions for quality, scalability, and sustainability
• Act as the lead for conflict of interest, maintaining independence between delivery and assessment functions

The Role

The Diocese of Oxford is seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Children and Youth Ministry to lead and oversee the implementation of children and youth strategy across the diocese. Main Purpose of Job

The Programme Coordinator – Careers, Events and Pathways is responsible for leading the planning, coordination, and delivery of large scale employability events and progression initiatives for young people. These include careers fairs, widening and participation events and employer engagement activities designed to open access to real world opportunities. This role will lead events from planning and partner liaison to on-the-ground delivery and post-evaluation reporting.

The coordinator will work with employers, schools, colleges, and local authorities to co-create meaningful pathways for young people, ensuring activities are aligned with labour market needs and tailored to the aspirations of young people we are working with.

The coordinator will take a lead on developing and managing strategic partnerships with employers and external organisations to broker new opportunities and promote progression routes into education, employment or training.

Grounded in youth work values, the coordinator will offer mentoring, support, and guidance to help young people navigate their next steps, overcome barriers, and access the right pathway for their goals.

Responsibilities

Event Planning and programme delivery

• Design, plan and deliver high quality and innovative events and activities for the youth and employability programme offer. Lead on major events such as careers fairs, job fairs, employer panels, and large outreach opportunities, ensuring effective planning, logistics, and execution.
• Ensure all events and activities meet the needs of participants, align with programme and partner objectives, and are delivered to agreed deadlines.
• Lead on event and programme logistics including planning, external bookings and venue hire, facilitators, transport, resources, risk assessment and other associated logistics.
• Provide tailored events and activities for young people from vulnerable, underrepresented and NEET Groups.

• Deliver presentations, sessions and other events (e.g. assemblies, PSHE lessons, lunch time stalls, workshops, job fair) to primary and secondary schools, non-mainstream schools, colleges, and other organisations to engage young people.

Stakeholder Engagement and Partnerships

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including existing partners (e.g Worley, UK Youth), local professional organisations, schools and colleges, local authorities, and future key stakeholders as they come onboard.

• Work in partnership with stakeholders to co-design and deliver events, promote programme opportunities, recruit participants, and support youth progression.
• Seek out new opportunities in relation to employment and training to support young people progress on to positive pathways. Work with stakeholders to develop new initiatives and collaborative projects.

Youth Engagement and support

• Lead cohorts of young people through events and programmes. Supervise, take responsibility for the pastoral care, and ensure safety needs of the young people are always met.
• Engage and build positive relationships with young people to provide effective support, mentoring and coaching on a one-to-one and group basis where needed.
• Develop, implement, and lead on recruitment and engagement strategies to recruit and retain young people for events.

Monitoring and Evaluation

• Record and monitor programme, partner and participant data using the relevant CRM systems ensuring all data is kept up to date.
• Ensure all administration tasks are completed accurately and within allocated time scales including handling personal data, managing expenses, safeguarding reporting, and risk assessments.
• Achieve weekly and monthly targets as set out by the Senior Manager, or partner organisation/ funder and regularly provide reports and monitoring information.

Leadership and Team Collaboration

• Lead and support casual staff to deliver high quality programmes, providing regular feedback and embedding reflective practice.
• Support the Senior Manager in recruitment, training, and supervision of casual delivery staff.
• Attend regular supervision sessions, team & organisation meetings, and complete compulsory training to enable all duties to be carried out effectively.
• Deputise for the Senior Manager when appropriate. Fulfil any other reasonable duties and responsibilities considered appropriate by the Senior Manager
• Work closely with the Senior Manager, Coordinators, Youth Workers, Coaches and programme partners to support the young people on the programmes ensuring a united approach.

Safeguarding and Compliance

• Understand and comply with all policies and procedures in line with Trust and contractual responsibilities including the safeguarding of the young people, GDPR, health and safety and EDI.

• Handle sensitive information with the utmost confidentiality, especially regarding individuals' personal details and concerns.
• Participate in training sessions related to safeguarding and emergency response.
• Maintain accurate records of incidents, concerns, and actions taken.
• Report any safeguarding concerns promptly to the appropriate authorities or designated personnel.

The Selection Criteria

Essential

Qualifications and experience

1. Graduate degree level and or/ IAG Level 2 / Event Management and/or strong relevant experience (youth work, educational, community based, events, careers).
2. Demonstrable experience (at least 2 years) of working with young people and children to inspire, motivate and support them to positively engage in new opportunities and develop new skills.
3. Experience of leading, planning and delivering high-quality events and programmes for large groups (50/100+).
4. Experience and/or good knowledge of working in partnership with local businesses/ professional partners, schools, colleges, and universities, to develop employability and careers pathways initiatives.
5. Experience of effectively engaging young people from a wide range of backgrounds, including underrepresented groups (women and girls, ethnic minorities) and/ or, vulnerable groups (e.g. homeless, young carer, etc), and/ or those facing barriers to education, employment, or training.
6. A Safeguarding and First Aid qualification or willingness to complete training.

Connexional Worship Renewal Team Leader

Hybrid Working: Connexional Team staff based at Methodist Church House have a hybrid work pattern which is currently 2-3 days in the office.

We are offering a hugely exciting role to support Methodist worship renewal across The Connexion and to continue to enhance our wonderful communities of local preachers, worship leaders and musicians through the training and development programmes offered by The Methodist Church in Great Britain.

In recognition of the centrality of the worshipping life of the Church to Our Calling as both Christians and Methodists, we are absolutely committed to effectively supporting (in theology, craft and with practical questions) all of those who lead worship. We also recognise the missional imperative for high-quality worship. Thus the holder of this post will lead a small team, whose aims are to:

• Empower all of those leading worship through support and development.
• Operationalise and manage the Worship Renewal stream of the Methodist Church in Britain’s God For All ambition and strategy.

The team

The Ministries and Learning Team in which this role sits, is friendly, supportive, vibrant and passionate. Within this team, you will be line-managed by The Director of Ministry Development. The Team exists to equip the Methodist Church by training, developing and supporting those called by God to serve in lay and ordained ministry embedding the strategies which support the Church’s aspiration to be inclusive, justice seeking, evangelistic and growing.

The postholder will manage a small team and work widely with other teams, such as Evangelism and Growth, and across the wider Connexion.

The Role:

As Wellbeing Support Manager (known internally as Wellbeing Lead), you will take full ownership of Cavell's Wellbeing Conversations service, manage your own diary and deliver high-quality support to nursing and midwifery professionals.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading the day-to-day delivery of the Wellbeing Conversations service
• Conducting triage calls and virtual sessions, offering reflective listening and signposting support
• Identifying trends and themes to inform service development and influence Cavell's broader support offer
• Maintaining accurate records in line with data protection legislation
• Producing evaluation reports and sharing insights with stakeholders
• Building strong relationships with referral partners and the funder

This is a dynamic role with variety built in. One day you may be supporting an individual struggling with self-doubt, and the next you could be presenting to partners, contributing to service development, or preparing impact data for the communications team.

About You:

We are looking for a compassionate, proactive professional with:

• A valid coaching qualification
• Experience supporting individuals experiencing stress, overwhelm, or challenging life circumstances
• An understanding of the pressures facing nursing and midwifery professionals
• Knowledge of national mental health support services
• Excellent listening and communication skills
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage your own workload independently

Desirable (but not essential) experience includes:

• Working as a nursing or midwifery professional

About the Role

As a Night Young People Case Worker, you will work under the direction, guidance and support of a Service Manager and an Assistant Area Director you will work as part of a team covering the night shift hours delivering an assessment, support and move on service to vulnerable clients in supported accommodation.

The accommodation service is based in Bishop Auckland County Durham. You will ensure that the accommodation is properly maintained during the night shift and support the client to sustain their tenancy and participate in positive and successful move on. The aim of the service is to ensure that every client leaves with the skills and resilience to be confident and self-determining in their lives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the safety and wellbeing of clients, including safeguarding and emergency procedures, and contribute to a safe environment for all.

The National PR Lead is responsible for the successful delivery of Public Relations and Media strategies to support a designated portfolio of work. You will play a vital role in leading priority PR workstreams. Your expertise will ensure we use the most effective PR tactics to meet team and organisational goals. 

 

You will be responsible for:   

• Delivering PR and media strategies for specific portfolios, leading priority workstreams, and ensuring effective tactics to meet campaign and organisational goals.  

• Leading PR strategy development, execution, and evaluation to increase brand recognition and media reach; managing campaign objectives and sharing insights for continuous improvement. 

• Identifying, training, and briefing spokespeople including senior staff. 

• Managing reactive news and news desk functions to stay ahead of media agendas. 

• Maintaining strong media relationships, ensuring consistent key message delivery, and advising on reputational risks and issues. 

• Line management and team leadership for two National Media & PR Officers. 

 

Key Criteria: 

• Established experience in a similar PR position, managing a news desk or a press office.   

• Experience working in a large complex environment, ideally in the charity sector.  

• Excellent understanding of national consumer media (tv, printed, online, podcasts etc) 

• Line management experience and the ability to lead teams  

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work with stakeholders of all levels.
