Job description

The postholder will be expected to provide energy advice to householders by telephone and email. Delivering key information to help householders/clients to access appropriate support. Whilst maintaining accurate and detailed records of all interactions with clients.

Pay and conditions

The role is full-time (37.5 hours per week). However, we will consider applications from a minimum of 22.5hrs per week.

The salary for the role will be £25,750. Rising to £26,739 after passing 6-month probationary period.

You will be entitled to 25 days paid holiday (plus statutory holidays).

Specific responsibilities

An applicant appointed to the role will be expected to:

• To work on the advice line and/or other telephone advice projects making and receiving calls from people who may need help with energy related issues.
• To record client details and use own knowledge to assess help and support needed.
• To refer clients onto other support organisations in their area as appropriate.
• To identify energy improvements that can be made to clients’ properties and refer to installers who can fit them.
• To help vulnerable clients make applications for grants and switch energy tariffs where appropriate.
• To listen attentively to callers (some of whom may be in distress) and respond to their needs in an empathetic way.
• To be familiar with and adhere to advice line protocol, processes and procedures.

The Role

In this role, you will support the Finance Manager in providing a proactive, efficient, and highly effective finance service across the Diocesan Board of Finance and Trust custodian company, as well as supporting the larger finance team who look after the Board of Education.

The role will be diverse, starting with managing the day-to-day functions but also assisting in all areas of the finance function, including bank reconciliations, VAT, forecasting and reporting.

You will play a key role within a Finance department totalling 9 staff, with input into the future running and design of how the department continues to move forward and grow.

About The Role

We’re looking for a Corporate Partnerships Accounts Officer to join our award-winning team on a 4.5 month temporary contract. Sitting within our Income & Engagement directorate, you’ll be part of the Account Management sub-team, who work with our brilliant portfolio of corporate partners to grow impact and deepen relationships.

The Grant Administrator will provide financial support in the form of vouchers for eligible households via telephone and email, using their administrative skills to enter customer details onto databases and process applications. About Sculpt UK

Sculpt is a UK-based charity with over 20 years’ experience, who support young people to shape their own future. Our vision is that we live in a society where young people can be fulfilled through their education, work and participation in wider society. The need for our work is clear given the increasing problems young people face and their lack of confidence and awareness regarding their journey into the world of work.

We run a range of bespoke programmes that work directly with young people in conjunction with partners - schools, careers hubs, employers, local government and further/higher education. What are we looking for?

Sculpt UK is hiring a bookings coordinator and youth programme officer who would deliver our direct intervention work with young people aged 12-16 with a focus on skills building around employment through our holistic work experience programmes. Approximately 75% of our under 16s work involves working with young people who have SEND or who are at risk of becoming NEET (not in employment, education or training). Training on working specifically with SEND students will be offered to the successful applicant.

The role will also manage our bookings with schools and individuals across projects. This job is a 70/30 split between Youth Programme Officer and Bookings Coordinator.

Responsibilities :

Youth Programme Officer:

• Adhere to Sculpt UK’s safeguarding practices and procedures at all time 

• Deliver funded programmes focused on youth employability, leadership and youth voice in line with Sculpt UK’s delivery style and ethos

• Work with other Youth Programme Officers to successfully to deliver projects and support in data collection required for reporting
