About the role

The role will work to assess the needs of people referred to the Pan-London hate crime service known as CATCH, ensuring potential risk or safeguarding issues are highlighted. The Triage Advisor will be responsible for completing triage assessments, one-off brief interventions with people who are assessed as medium need or referring into Galop’s advocacy services or into the wider CATCH partners for advocacy and support.

The work will involve offering them a conversation to find out about their situation, completing triage assessment paperwork and either referring them into the relevant service that will meet their needs or provide one-off support and signposting to them. The service is run in partnership with specialist by and for organisations working with victims of hate crime, including specialists in hate crimes motivated by racism, anti-LGBT prejudice, anti-Semitism, Islamophobia, or anti-disability prejudice. Each organisation provides support and advocacy for hate crime victims, including offering clients a space to talk and think through options, helping them plan what they want to do, and offering assistance in getting what they need from authorities.

Your triage work will enable people referred into our service and CATCH to feel heard, supported and reach the right service. You will need excellent listening and communication skills, with the ability to obtain the information you need to assess a case while leaving clients feeling supported. Most importantly, you need the capacity and attitude to become familiar with the needs of a broad spectrum of experiences across race, faith, LGBT , and disability hate crime and be able to provide non-judgmental support to all victims of hate crime at all times – including to those whose experiences and beliefs do not align with your own.

The role is based in Galop’s central London building but hybrid working is available (with an expectation of two days a week in the office).

What is the overall purpose of the role?

We are looking to appoint a Support Youth Worker to help develop and deliver an innovative and progressive youth programme for our Girls Project, in a safe industrious and supportive environment working primarily with young girls from diverse communities.

The Girls only group (targeting ages 11-19 years) will promote life skills, well-being and female empowerment. Helping girls move forward through the next stage of their lives to become the women who will shape their community in the future. The Girls group will support, provide advice, mentoring and signposting to additional support services.

Responsibilities:

• Support with the research, planning and delivery of an innovative and progressive programme of youth activities in collaboration with young people and the lead worker.
• Carry out financial and administrative procedures related to the Girls Project.
• Support the promotion of the Girls Project including collating and creating content to be used for online and offline marketing and advertising (hard copy, posters, social media posts etc).
• Record all attendances (registers) for all sessions and populate data required for reporting purposes in a timely manner.
• Coordinate, deliver, host or co-host and oversee the delivery of Girls Project sessions (one-to-ones or groups), trips and residential, that take place on-site and off-site, face to face or online.
• Liaise and supervise with facilitators or external providers directly concerning the delivery of the Girls Project i.e including agreements, risk assessments, SLA’s and Code of Conduct.
• Ensure that children and young people are involved in contributing to the development of the Girls Project via consultations and evaluations.
• Recruit young people through networking and promoting to external organisations and agencies, and beyond.
• Manage referrals to and from the project.
• Assist in recruiting external facilitators required for the delivery of the Girls Project.
• maximise the opportunities for the project.
• Keep an eye out for potential funding opportunities to expand the project scope further

The Support Youth Worker will bring:

• Similar experience in a Youth Worker/Support Worker role
• Level 2 or above Youth Work Qualified (desirable)
• Experience in the charity sector, the voluntary sector, or the community sector would be desirable.

Oasis Community Hub Hadley is looking to recruit a Youth Development Outreach Worker to join the Oasis Youth Support project at North Middlesex University Hospital. This project offers support to young people who have attended the Emergency Department due to violence in order to promote positive outcomes.

Key responsibilities will include:

· Offering intensive 1:1 support to the young people referred to the project by hospital staff following an attendance at ED due to violence or aggression. Support for the young person can include liaising with parents/carers, safeguarding services and other agencies/networks with the purpose of increasing positive outcomes.

· Being a physical presence in the department, working with key staff within NMUH to ensure all young people who come into ED as a result of a violence or aggression are able to access support where required.

· Planning and delivering sessions focusing around specific areas of violence reduction for young people and professionals.

You could be successful in this role if you: 

· Have a relevant experience working with young people using a Youth Work approach and seen a positive impact from that work

· Are committed and passionate about working with young people who have experienced violence using a young person centred, trauma informed approach.

Main purpose of post
 To provide effective administrative support across the organisation, which will
include minute taking and completion of expenses.
 Perform administrative tasks related to HR processes, to ensure the efficient
delivery of HR services and the accurate maintenance of employee records.

About the role

This role will focus on our Books Together project. We are looking for someone to deliver interactive book sharing workshops for parents and their children aged 2 to 5.

We are looking for someone warm, approachable, and sensitive to the diverse needs of families.

You’ll be a confident communicator with a proven track record in either corporate or community fundraising. You’re motivated by building connections, spotting opportunities, and delivering tangible results.

To be successful, you must have experience:

• Experience in corporate or community fundraising within the charity sector
• Demonstrable success in developing and growing corporate partnerships
• Strong project management and organisational skills
• Excellent relationship building and interpersonal communication
• Financial awareness and experience managing budgets
• Comfortable using CRM systems (ideally Microsoft Dynamics)
• Understanding of fundraising compliance and best practices
• A self-starter with creativity, confidence and a collaborative mindset
• Empathy for rural communities and an understanding of their challenges

About the role

The Head of Fundraising and Development role is pivotal within the New Horizon Leadership Team, responsible for driving forward fundraising efforts and managing a small, dedicated team. This role involves developing and delivering a sustainable income strategy, ensuring high-quality stewardship for our donors, and contributing to the overall success of New Horizon Youth Centre.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement a sustainable income strategy across all fundraising streams. Collaborate with the Operations Director and Heads of Services to create compelling funding proposals.
• Income Generation: Achieve annual income targets and build a pipeline for future sustainable income. Oversee the submission of high-quality funding applications and manage fundraising activities with corporates, individuals, and events.
• Stewardship and Relationship Management: Provide excellent stewardship to donors, manage key fundraising relationships, and ensure effective fundraising systems and processes.
• Team Leadership: Support and lead the fundraising team, providing clear objectives, supervision, and development opportunities. Foster a culture of continuous learning and collaboration.
• General Duties: Uphold the values of New Horizon Youth Centre, follow organisational policies and procedures, and contribute to the Leadership Team's success.

About you

You will be passionate about the work and mission of New Horizon, and combine this with some previous experience of fundraising across multiple income streams. You will bring:

• Proven experience in meeting financial targets within a fundraising or sales environment, ideally across multiple disciplines.
• Successful track record in building relationships with foundations, corporate partners, and high net worth individuals, securing six-figure gifts.
• Strong understanding of and commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion.
• Excellent written and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex arguments effectively.

About The Opportunity

Money Workshops are the core of what we do. Through these sessions, we reach over 40,000 people per year across the UK with our vital financial wellbeing messages. 

This offering is split between two areas of work: Workshops for children and young people (our Financial Education offer), and Sessions & Programmes for adults (what we call Financial Wellbeing Training). We are looking for multiple Freelance Consultants to deliver to one or both of these two groups. Please see the job descriptions below for more information about each opportunity.

The Workshops are interactive, engaging and relevant, covering topics including budgeting, saving, borrowing, investing, pensions and much more. In the majority of cases, they are also fully-funded (free) to the organisations we partner with, keeping barriers to access as low as possible.

As well as delivering the Workshops, you will play a role in promoting them, which means you should be able to forge strong relationships with stakeholders and should be confident in reaching out to new contacts. This will involve sending marketing emails to education establishments and charities, reaching out to existing contacts, and possibly the use of social media to promote the workshops. It also means Consultants can control their own diaries and commitments, meaning that this is an ideal opportunity for those looking for flexibility.

This is a strategic and hands-on role, setting direction, managing key relationships and leading change, while securing income and providing clarity and structure for the teams. As Director of Fundraising and Communications, you will:

• Sit on the Executive Management Team alongside the CEO, COO, and Head of Communities & Learning, driving strategy and cultural change
• Develop and deliver an ambitious strategy across both functions, aligning activity to drive income, membership growth, and visibility
• Build on Calibre Audio’s respected legacy programme, deepen trust and foundation partnerships, and explore untapped opportunities with major donors and individual supporters
• Personally manage and cultivate high-value relationships with trusts, foundations, and major donors, while shaping new opportunities in corporate and individual giving
• Strengthen legacy and in-memory giving, and oversee compelling member appeals
• Lead the development of a powerful case for support, positioning Calibre as a force for change in literacy, disability inclusion, and mental health
• Partner with the Head of Marketing to deliver bold, creative campaigns that amplify Calibre’s national voice and directly support fundraising
