We are looking for a motivated individual to join Rainbow mind as Marketing and Operations Coordinator. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with great communication skills and a creative flair for problem solving to join a small team in delivering vital LGBTQIA services and programmes in London and nationally.  You will be responsible for supporting the Operations and Services Manager and Director in the delivery of many of RM’s services and operations. The role will directly support the everyday running of the Rainbow Mind Programme and help ensure services run smoothly and efficiently.You will have the opportunity to help build and maintain Rainbow Mind’s growing voice and impact alongside the team.

SUMMARY OF ROLE

The Events & Marketing Coordinator will play an essential role in delivering high-impact engagement activities and supporting the wider work of RABI’s Marketing and Communications team. Reporting to the Events & Engagement Manager, you’ll help coordinate the charity’s presence at a wide range of events -including agricultural shows, external affairs engagements, conferences and community activities, ensuring a consistently professional and compelling presence across England and Wales. You will play a key part in engaging with supporters, volunteers, ambassadors and the public, representing RABI with warmth and professionalism.

The role will also help collate and provide valuable marketing and content support, including supporting the capturing of photography and video for use on digital channels, assisting with the development of volunteer and ambassador case studies, and supporting CRM data collection and engagement surveys. This is an exciting, hands-on, outward-facing role suited to an organised, creative and personable team player.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Event Coordination and Delivery

• Assist with the organisation and delivery of national and regional events including agricultural shows, external affairs events, volunteer engagement activities and community outreach initiatives.
• Support event logistics such as venue booking, catering, AV, signage, promotional materials, staffing, travel, and health and safety compliance.
• Coordinate post-event evaluation, collecting feedback, attendance data, and impact measures to inform future planning.
• Maintain and update a comprehensive events calendar.

Marketing and Promotional Support

• Work with the MarComms team to coordinate event and show related content for social media, digital platforms and printed collateral.
• Ensure all events, shows and conferences are added to RABI’s website and online calendar.
• Assist with design and distribution of promotional materials, using templates in Canva and maintaining brand consistency.
• Help to prepare pre-event and post-event communications including invitations, newsletters and thank-you communications.
• Manage and maintain an up-to-date inventory of promotional stock and branded materials.
• Support the wider MarComms team on cross-department projects and campaigns.

Stakeholder, Volunteer and Ambassador Engagement

• Liaise with internal colleagues and external partners to ensure smooth event operations and representation.
• Coordinate volunteer and ambassador attendance at events and help ensure a positive experience.
• Provide on-site support at key events, acting as a friendly and informed ambassador for RABI.

Administrative and Reporting Duties

• Support the Events Manager with budget tracking and processing of invoices and expenses.
• Ensure accurate record keeping in the CRM system (Microsoft Dynamics).
• Support internal coordination meetings and help document action points and timelines.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Essential

• Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.
• Proven experience in event delivery, marketing or a related role.
• Exceptional writing and verbal communication skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Experience in managing social media platforms and scheduling tools.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with people at all levels and be confident and professional in a public-facing role.
• A self-starter and team player, able to accept direction, yet work independently.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and multitask under pressure.
• Eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality, mission-led events.

The Position

As part of a small team, the Events Assistant will support the Venue Hire team with general administrative tasks, sales, planning and delivery of events and exhibitions for external venue hire clients as well as support Society colleagues with internal event planning.

The Society offers the hire of the Ondaatje Theatre and associated rooms to individuals and commercial, educational, and not-for-profit organisations for small-scale meetings, seminars, evening lectures, large daytime conferences, receptions and weddings. The net income from this business provides essential support for the Society’s charitable activities.

The post holder will primarily be expected to provide efficient and accurate administrative support to the Venue Hire team. This includes communication in writing, on the phone, by email and in person with clients; setting up Collections showcase displays; filing; database input (room booking system); displays; customer invoicing; and other administrative support to enable a smooth and efficient office.

They will also help to sell, organise and facilitate aspects of a small number of events, including liaison with associated contractors, and act as a point of contact for clients in the lead up to, and on the day of, an event.

This permanent, full-time role, to which the Circuit has made an initial five-year commitment, is Circuit-wide, but locally based. The person appointed will help lead the development of a Circuit-led New Places for New People (NPNP) initiative for and with young people within the Circuit, which we anticipate will lead to the upscaling of this area of ministry in the medium term.

 We are seeking a collaborative self-starter who is able to work in strategically missional ways in order to reach and disciple young people, in enabling them to flourish in every part of their lives. You are likely to hold a degree-level qualification in Theology, or a subject related to this area of ministry. Ideally, this might be a professionally-qualifying JNC award. Trainee Children’s Wellbeing Practitioners (CWPs) will be expected to integrate into YMCA East Surrey’s Emotional Wellbeing and Mental Health (EWMH) team and to support all early intervention work. You will assess and deliver (under supervision), outcome focused, evidence-based interventions to children and young people experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties.   

This Trainee Children's Wellbeing Practitioner role includes completion of the Child Wellbeing Practice Postgraduate or Graduate level Diploma run by the University of 

Sussex, which follows the nationally agreed curriculum to qualify as a Children's Wellbeing Practitioner.

The post holder must have experience of working with children, young people and families with multiple and/or complex needs and hold a minimum qualification equivalent to a NVQ Level 3 in a relevant field. In addition, the successful candidate must hold a valid UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle.

For the Level 6 (Graduate Diploma) the minimum level would be 3 x A-levels with grades of AAB - BBB (BBC if meet the criteria for contextual offer), or an equivalent qualification such as NVQ level 3 or above, or equivalent experience (and proven ability to work at graduate level). Evidence of experience of working with children and young people.

For the Level 7 (Post-graduate Diploma) the minimum requirement is a Graduate Degree at 2:2, NVQ level 6 or above in Health Care or equivalent experience (and proven ability to work at post-graduate level) 

Working Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday-Friday 9am to 5pm. Includes attendance at the University of Sussex 2 days per week from January to October.

Key responsibilities:

· Working in partnership to support children and young people experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties

· Provide a range of information and support for evidence based psychological treatments, primarily guided self-help.

· Attend multi-disciplinary meetings relating to referrals or CYP in treatment, where appropriate.

· Keep coherent records of all activity in line with service protocols and use these records and outcome data to inform decision making.

· Attend and fulfil all the requirements of the training element of the post including practical, academic and practice-based assessments.

· As well as attendance at the University for training, fulfil private study requirements to enhance learning and prepare assignments for examination - recommendation is 150 hours of study for each of the 8 modules, which includes the teaching days.

· Assess and integrate issues relating to transitions, education and training/employment into the overall therapeutic process.

This is a unique opportunity to join our team, supporting the Peatland Code: the quality assurance standard for peatland restoration projects in the UK, which generates independently verified carbon units. The Peatland Code offers the UK’s only government backed standard to support peatland restoration under the voluntary carbon market, operating under the UK Government’s Environmental Reporting Guidelines. 2025 is an exciting time to join the Peatland Code team as we are about to add biodiversity crediting alongside our existing carbon quantification. 

You need to be diligent, an excellent project manager, able to juggle multiple priorities and projects, strive for improvement in processes and be able to use your initiative. You will work in the rapid developing arena of voluntary nature markets and will work with partner organisations and a variety of stakeholders to manage the Peatland Code process of all projects efficiently. 

You will be working alongside another Peatland Code Officer and together you are responsible for the administration of all Peatland Code projects as they move through the project pipeline. This includes managing initial enquiries, checking all project registrations on the UK Land Carbon Registry as well as oversight of the validation and verification process. 

To achieve this, you will need to be an exceptional project manager and develop good, trusted working relationships with a variety of stakeholders. In addition, you will support the wider team in delivering training on the mechanics of the Peatland Code and supporting in the future development needs of the standard. Excellent organisational and communication skills are critical and the ability to digest technical information and communicate it in an accessible way is key.

This post-holder will be responsible for fulfilling the following duties:

• Good medical care: Provide a clinical assessment, including relevant psychiatric and

• Review and Monitor: patients’ treatment progress (including results of urinalysis and other laboratory investigations). 
• Documenting: To keep accurate appropriate and up-to-date medical and administrative documentation including computer records.
• Specialist Assessments: Provide specialist prescribing assessments to opiate, stimulant, tranquilizer, barbiturate and alcohol dependent clients. 
• Working with others: Attend multidisciplinary meetings, promoting the nomination of named link workers and actively supporting the implementation of integrated care pathways.
• Represent Change Grow Live: Represent the service at a range of meetings with other
  professionals and agencies in order to evaluate, monitor and develop treatment services for substance misusers and minimise barriers to treatment.
• Maintaining good medical practice: participate in continuing professional development, annual appraisal and revalidation and to join appropriate supervision and PDP groups for the role.

About You:

• Medical Degree and completion of Basic Medical Training.
• Full GMC-UK Registration with License to Practice.
• Experience in delivering evidence based treatments in Substance Misuse 
• Good knowledge of addiction psychiatry and legislation relating to Mental Health 
• Demonstrable ability to work independently with minimal consultant supervision.

What is the overall purpose of the role?

At Youth Action Alliance, our mission is to support the personal and social development (their values, beliefs, ideas and skills) of the young people living in Kensington and Chelsea and neighbouring boroughs, enabling them to increase their resilience and skills in the present, and promote their ambitions for the future.

Job responsibilities
