What you’ll do

You will lead on postgraduate recruitment and marketing for the Education and Training division, working with UCL and internal teams. Key duties include creating and delivering marketing plans, managing web and promotional content, organising recruitment events, running social media campaigns, promoting bursaries, tracking recruitment data, and supporting alumni engagement.

Key details

Hours: Part-time: 14 hours per week. Between Monday and Friday, 09:00-17:00, which must include Wednesday. Flexible working is possible.

Salary: £33,000 FTE per annum, plus 6% contributory pension scheme.

Location: Hybrid working (a mixture of onsite and home/remote working). Staff are working onsite for at least 20% of their working hours at our London site (4-8 Rodney Street, London N1 9JH).

As Interim Philanthropy and Partner Engagement Director, you will:

• Oversee and support a multi-disciplinary fundraising team spanning major donors, partnerships, gaming, principal giving, institutional funding, and events
• Lead strategic planning and budgeting across the function, ensuring strong performance, income growth and long-term value
• Maximise outcomes from Winter Wassail (December 2025), War Child’s flagship gala event with a £2m target and major stewardship opportunity
• Support and strengthen the corporate partnerships function, working closely with the Head of Partnerships to refine strategy and unlock potential
• Guide the development of the principal gifts function, with a new senior hire expected before the handover
• Shape next steps for gaming and digital partnerships, following an external review

Ideal skills and experience: 

• Significant experience in corporate partnerships, with the ability to develop strategy, support senior fundraisers and identify long-term opportunities
• Strong knowledge of high-value fundraising, including major donors, principal giving and events-led philanthropy
• Experience leading managers and senior fundraisers across multiple income streams, ideally within a similarly sized or complex organisation
• A strategic mindset, with hands-on involvement in planning, budgeting, forecasting and performance reporting
• A collaborative, emotionally intelligent leadership style that combines high challenge with high support
• The ability to influence across teams and departments; experience in international development is helpful but not essential
• The confidence to represent War Child with major donors, partners, and senior stakeholders, both internally and externally

• Manage the day to day import of supporter data from external sources into the organisation’s CRM (Raiser's Edge), ensuring timely and accurate data processing

In this role, you will be part of a research centre, working with budget holders and research leads to provide an effective and efficient financial service. The Person

We are looking for an ACA/CA/ACCA/CIMA qualified accountant with experience in business partnering, financial project management, and setting budgets and forecasts. The IO will lead investigations, and will give the complainant (who may be a child, young person or adult) the opportunity to express their view, ensure the child or young person’s rights and best interests are at the centre of the investigation and that the investigation/review process is open and transparent. They write a report on the investigation/review, which is submitted to the referring agency.

The Job Description document sets out the expectations for an Associate Independent Person for Complaints (IPC) who is approved by Coram Voice. IPCs are independent, freelance and responsible for their own work. Nevertheless, IPCs are accountable to the organisation for their professional standards and are expected to comply with Coram Voice Code of Ethics and Practice Guidelines.

Please note: the nature of associate work means that we cannot guarantee a regular amount of work, and complaints will be allocated dependent on the associate’s availability, location and the needs and demands of the individual case. Details

Our café is an important part of the gallery, and our Cafe Team Leader is responsible for providing a welcoming, friendly environment, serving a high quality menu with excellent customer service. This is an operational and hands on role where the large majority of time is spent planning and preparing the café food and drinks and interacting with the general public. The Chef Manager is also responsible for the supervision and the rota management of our café staff and will collaborate closely with our Head of Commercial to maximise profits and further develop the Café in line with the Gallery’s aims and objectives.

Person Specification

Essential Skills & Experience

• Team Leadership in a café or restaurant environment.
• A passion for preparing good quality fresh food with the drive to create new recipes and experiment with new ideas that respond to the Gallery’s programme.
• Menu development experience, with the ability to change and adapt depending on visitors’ feedback.
• Excellent eye for detail and food presentation, a passion for artful food creation.
• A flexible, innovative and proactive approach to sales strategies and solutions.
• Experience of working in a similar café environment including exposure to the duties outlined above (specifically food preparation, cooking, stock ordering and management, cash handling and till usage).
• Level 2 or over NVQ Qualification or equivalent.
• Qualifications in Level 2 Hygiene, Food Allergens Awareness and Working in Licensed Premises. Willingness to train to Level 3.
• Barista experience, making a range of coffees and hot drinks.
• Understanding of Allergens and dietary requirements.
• Experience of negotiating prices with new suppliers.
• A high regard for customer service and satisfaction.
• Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative and without supervision.
• Staff management experience.
• You need to be enthusiastic, approachable and above all an absolute team player.

Desirable Skills &Experience

• Rota management experience.
• Flexibility to work some weekends & evenings.
• An interest in contemporary art.
