This is an excellent opportunity to truly make a role your own and get involved in the project from the start, which will be supporting 10 adults with mild/moderate to severe learning disabilities, as well as additional mental and physical health needs.

You will play a pivotal ambassadorial role, spearheading Centre’s 404 service expansion into the London Brough of Brent and bringing our expertise, vision and values to families in need.

This varied and dynamic role will lead on the set up, coordination and provision of excellent person-centred care and support to service users, enabling them to live independently in their home and be supported in all aspects of day-to-day living. As Project Manager, you will oversee the development and implementation of care plans designed to provide meaningful choice and a range of activities and support to meet individual needs. You will also contribute to the development of the team and be responsible for encouraging a culture based on respect and dignity for those in need of care and support, providing supervision and clear management to a team of support workers.

 

The ideal candidate will have experience of leading and coaching a team supporting people with learning disabilities or another vulnerable client group. Experience of supporting people with high and complex support needs would be an advantage. Overview of the role

Our Development Manager will play a key role in supporting ThinkForward to achieve ambitious growth targets and deliver on our mission to support young people facing challenges to build a brighter, better future.

You will work flexibly across all income streams to identify and convert high-value funding opportunities from trusts and foundations, corporate partners and high-net-worth individuals, as well as supporting excellent stewardship for our existing funders. You will bring technical excellence in relation to the highest standard of compelling application and report writing, and you will develop strong relationships internally to facilitate a collaborative approach to income generation. The Role
As the Corporate Partnerships Manager, you will spearhead the expansion of our Corporate and Community Giving portfolio. You will be instrumental in managing income streams projected to raise £150,000 this year, with ambitions for future growth. Your role will also encompass being a prominent figure in the community, delivering fundraising talks, attending networking events and being an advocate for Bath Cats and Dogs Home.

You are a dynamic individual with a successful track record in corporate fundraising, capable of securing significant income through corporate and community events. Your skills include:

• Exceptional leadership and the ability to manage and mentor a team.
• Strong marketing abilities, both online and offline, to achieve financial and recruitment targets.

• Proficiency in IT and CRM databases, ideally with experience in Raisers Edge.

Dogs Trust are going through a period of growth, with recruitment for two Senior New Partnerships Managers due to the existing Lead getting an internal promotion. There are continuing plans to drive new business through long-term strategic partnerships.

The Senior New Partnerships Manager will play an active role in winning new partnerships to support international and UK-based work. Alongside the Deputy Head of Partnerships, you will work closely with the prospect research and special events team, and line manage a New Partnerships Manager.

• Proven track record of identifying and securing 5-6 figure corporate partnerships.

New Horizon Youth Centre has been commissioned by the Mayor’s Office for Policing and Crime (MOPAC) as part of an Alliance with Safer London, St Giles Trust and the Anna Freud Centre to deliver on their Children and Young People’s Violence and Exploitation and Reduction support service. The commission will run from June 2024 for three years. As part of this, an additional service will be set up within the NHYC Youth Justice team specifically to deliver on the Alliance contract. British Somali Community Centre is a refugee women-led charity with a 30-year history of delivering much needed services in education, family support, advocacy, and health programmes to the community.

We are seeking a dynamic, proactive, part-time Development and Operations Manager to oversee, grow and develop our organisation to continue to serve our community as we deal with an increase in demand for our services post pandemic and with the rise in the Cost-of-Living crisis.

Duties:

- Lead on organisational development, business, and strategy planning.

- Oversee strategic monitoring and reporting, internal audits, costing and business growth opportunities.

- Ensure policies and processes are in place, relevant and regularly reviewed and updated.

- Support the development and operations of projects and processes within the charity.

- Develop and deliver a research plan to identify the most promising prospective donors for BSCC’s programme priorities.

- Work collaboratively with senior management to develop and submit high value funding bids to meet fundraising targets.

- Secure long-term financing for programs by writing and applying for funding from a diverse range of funding streams.

- Develop the organisation to the vision of the board of trustees.

- Prepare updates, papers, and reports for trustee meetings, funding partners, and wherever else applicable.

Requirements -

- Bachelor's degree

- Experience in non-profit fundraising and writing successful business plans and strategies.

- Experience of leading on prospect management, taking the initiative, identifying, and reaching out to new trusts and foundations supporters.

- Experience in developing and managing high-quality relationships with trusts and foundations and/or high-net-worth individuals.

- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.

- Demonstrated ability to think strategically and to achieve results in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

- Excellent interpersonal skills.

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Salford Foodbank provides emergency food parcels to local people who are referred to us in crisis. Food is donated, sorted and packed at our warehouse, then delivered to our 7 centres across Salford, where teams of volunteers greet people as they pick up their food parcels. People can also access support and advice at our centres to help them maximise their income and ensure they are less likely to need to use the foodbank again.

You’ll be joining a friendly team of 6 part-time staff, 6 Trustees and approx. 80 volunteers, all dedicated to supporting people facing hardship. We are part of The Trussell Trust, a nationwide network of foodbanks.

Rate of pay: £21,000 per annum for 22.5 hours per week (£35,000 FTE pro-rata)

Full-time / part-time: Part time role 22.5 hours per week (flexible, home based within the North West with some contact hours at Salford Foodbank warehouse/office)

Temporary / permanent: Fixed term contract role for 18 months, with opportunity to extend based on funding

 

•  This is an exciting opportunity to join Salford Foodbank in a new role, accountable to the Foodbank Manager and the board of trustees. As the need for Foodbank services continues to grow Salford Foodbank has developed and expanded. The staff and volunteer team have increased, and we have embarked on new projects to support those that use the Foodbank.
• In order to maintain our current services and further develop, we need to grow our annual fundraised income.
• Through this new organisational role, you’ll proactively create and grow fundraising income, reach, and support from grant giving trusts and foundations as well as corporate organisations across Salford and Greater Manchester.  
• Through your fundraising expertise, you will have a proven track record of growing income and building relationships with trusts and foundations as well as corporate partners to achieve and exceed annual income targets and KPI’s. You’ll have the capacity to create and craft compelling funding proposals that successfully engage and attract donations.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Through excellent, comprehensive and considered research, you’ll identify and prioritise a pool of potential grant giving trusts and foundations funders for Salford Foodbank. You’ll forge relationships with those funders, develop and submit timely and winning funding applications.
• You’ll manage the ongoing relationships with grant giving trusts and foundations funders, ensuring they receive excellent stewardship, timely reporting and doing all you can maximising potential for further funding
• You’ll proactively identify, engage and build good relationships with prospective corporate donors, successfully securing them as funding partners. Alongside this you’ll deepen engagement and grow our relationships and partnerships with existing corporate donors.
• Working with colleagues across Salford Foodbank, you’ll develop authentic, compelling, creative and winning funding and partnership proposals that can successfully engage grant giving trusts, foundations and corporate partners and that can successfully align our vision and work with their needs, motivations, areas of interests and values.
• You’ll research potential funding opportunities from the local council and local authorities.
• You will develop, monitor and manage a fundraising portfolio. You’ll establish a fundraising pipeline, including a range of KPI’s that can be tracked and that will enable you to make informed projections regarding future income.
• You’ll work collaboratively with other Trussell Trust food banks across the Greater Manchester area, identifying and progressing opportunities for joint funding proposals and partnerships.
• You’ll forge strong relationships with colleagues across the wider Trussell Trust network, sharing best practice and learning from other charities across the network. You’ll proactively take advantage of any fundraising training and skills development opportunities and engage with any joint fundraising opportunities.
• You’ll be willing to carry out other reasonable duties contributing to the overall aims of the Foodbank.

Skills

• You’ll have good, established experience of trusts and foundations fundraising as well as corporate partnerships fundraising.
•  With excellent written and verbal communication and relationship management skills. You’ll be able to inspire and motivate new and existing funders.
• You’ll have experience of setting, managing and reporting against fundraising KPI’s. 
• You’ll be tenacious and able to embrace, develop and shape a new role. You’ll be well organised, proactive, and a self-starter who is able to self-motivate.
• You’ll be able to demonstrate empathy for people from disadvantaged, marginalised or socially-excluded backgrounds.
• You are supportive of the goals, Christian ethos, values and vision of Salford Foodbank.

Reporting to the Deputy Head of Business Growth, this new role will be responsible for supporting Abt Britain to scale its work in the UK through the acquisition of new business. They will enable Abt to position effectively for new opportunities and to lead and manage proposal efforts. The post holder will be expected to build and manage strategic partnerships and support the development of efficient and effective business development systems and processes.

They are looking for someone with demonstrable business development experience, including capture, proposal writing and proposal management, preferably on winning proposals for FCDO commercial contracts. They are looking for someone with demonstrable knowledge of and experience with preparing bids, negotiating, and managing 7 & 8 figure FCDO contracts. The Ideal candidate will have knowledge of bidding for governance, climate/environment, or economic growth opportunities.
