Your role

Supervise the delivery of Eikon’s volunteer mentoring services to children and young people in allocated schools across Surrey. Supervise a team of Volunteer Mentors ensuring parity of our offer in Schools to Children and Young People. Ensuring the highest standards of case work, effective practice and safeguarding are maintained.  Providing regular review and assessment of caseloads, with guidance on how to progress provided to the team of Volunteer Mentors.

Responsibilities

· Plan, resource and oversee the delivery of the volunteer mentoring programme, to ensure that the service is offered to young people at the right time and that young people are at the heart of the programme.

· Develop and maintain key relationships within schools in Surrey to deliver the volunteer mentoring programme.

· To identify trends and gaps in provision, then work with Service Delivery Manager on ways to improve our Volunteer Mentoring service

· Supervise a team of volunteer mentors in line with Eikon's policies

· Induct, train and develop volunteer mentors, ensuring a high-quality service with safe and effective practice is delivered in accordance with all other best practice guidelines

· Work in collaboration with the Designated Safeguarding Manager and Service Delivery Manager to ensure all volunteers are competent to supervise safeguarding issues

· Support volunteer mentors with all safeguarding issues and liaise with the Designated Safeguarding Manager and Service Delivery Manager where appropriate.

· Understand and act when safeguarding issues need to be escalated, always following safeguarding and child protection procedures 

· Support volunteer mentors to ensure accurate recording of all individual engagements, ensuring supervisory review of notes, follow up action where appropriate and feedback provided as necessary

· Support volunteer mentors in ensuring outcomes and impact are agreed, reviewed and recorded for mentees using the Eikon Impact Measurement tool

· Ensure case management is undertaken to a high quality, including ensuring systematic case note review processes are followed, providing evidence of change and celebrating progress with CYP

· Ensure all data and information is uploaded onto all relevant databases

· Provide accurate and timely mentoring programme data reports, for internal management

· Keep up to date with good practice, legislation and policies that have an impact on service delivery at Eikon

· Always apply safeguarding and child protection procedures 

· Work as part of a team and attend team meetings, training events and participate fully in 1:1 sessions and clinical supervision if required

Banana Link is a UK based NGO established in 1996. We have been advocating for a fair and sustainable banana industry for thirty years, based on environmental, social and economic sustainability. Our approach is underpinned by a firm commitment to defending workers’ rights, at the core of these rights is the right to a fair and decent income that affords a dignified life for men and women banana plantation workers. We work at a strategic level and through research, advocacy and dialogue with all actors along the chain to bring about change.

This role will support the management and delivery our current work stream on Living Wages in the African Banana Export Industry. Initial activities will be delivered in Ghana and Cameroon, in collaboration with our local and international trade union partners, local producing companies, and European retailers. Key project activities include: 

- Facilitation of capacity building activities on Living Wages and Decent Work in Cameroon and Ghana, with company staff and trade union representatives.
- Communication and dialogue between all project partners and other industry stakeholders towards fair remuneration and decent work in the banana industry.

The role will provide an important opportunity to work alongside Banana Link’s International Coordinator, and in collaboration with other key staff and partner organisations, on the important issues of Living Wages, Decent Work, Social Dialogue and Sustainability.

SLRA is a well-established local migrant support organisation working with and for refugees, asylum seekers and other migrants who are at risk or in crisis because of immigration issues. We provide specialist immigration advice as well as a broad range of practical, social and therapeutic support services. Our Nest Project brings advice and improved awareness and knowledge to migrant families with young children, through community settings in Lambeth and Southwark. The Nest Project Coordinator will lead on developing partnerships with and providing training to staff and volunteers in community settings as well as providing immigration advice and casework.

• A strong track record in establishing and developing partnership working, and delivering training/workshops within community settings.

We are seeking a Perinatal Outreach Coordinator to provide person-centred, individual and group support to perinatal women (pregnant women and birthing people of children less than 2 years old) within the London Borough of Greenwich. The role works directly with the Oxleas Perinatal Mental Health Team and is employed by South East London Mind.

You will be responsible for supporting women under the care of the Oxleas Perinatal Mental Health Team with moderate to severe mental health challenges who have been identified as requiring additional practical and social support. You will work one-to-one in the community to develop personalised plans focused on their recovery, providing support to help them get and remain well during the perinatal period.

You will develop, deliver and facilitate a programme of perinatal support groups and other activities that encourage women to access outreach support within the local community, develop social networks and reduce isolation as part of their recovery plan. Current activities include weekly play sessions, walking group, soft play, picnics and monthly outings.

Applicants should have a good understanding of mental health challenges in the perinatal period alongside experience of supporting families with multiple and diverse needs. An ability to work independently but collaboratively, to be proactive and highly organised is essential for this role.

Additional information:

• Applicants will be required to attend a weekly multi-disciplinary team meeting every Tuesday afternoon (based in Bexley DA2).
• Applicants must be able to travel and work within the London Borough of Greenwich and surrounding areas in effective manner, including conducting home visits and group activities in community venues.

WHO WE ARE

Animal Equality is an international animal protection organisation working with society, governments and companies to end cruelty to farmed animals. Animal Equality has offices in the United Kingdom, the United States, Germany, Italy, Spain, Mexico, Brazil and India.

Animal Equality releases investigative materials captured from inside factory farms and slaughterhouses, exposing the conditions that farmed animals face around the world. We publish our findings on television, in newspapers and online. Animal Equality’s campaigns have driven Parliamentary debates, legal victories, policy shifts, corporate commitments, mainstream media coverage, and inspired thousands of individuals to change their diets.

We are seeking a creative, driven, and strategic Campaigns Coordinator to deliver our current high-impact campaigns with a view to exposing the cruel animal agriculture industries, influencing decision-makers, and mobilising the public to create lasting change for farmed animals.

Working closely with team members, the Campaigns Coordinator will design and deliver imaginative campaigns while working in alignment with the organisation’s wider mission: to end factory farming. The role requires initiative, creativity, tenacity, and a solutions-focused mindset, as well as the discipline to execute projects effectively and professionally.

About this key role

Our successful candidate will focus on coordinating and supporting the day-to-day operations of the offices, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow, plus coordinate compliance with internal policies and external regulations and ensuring timely response to any incidents or breaches such as data protection, health and safety, ISO 27001.  You will also be expected to coordinate and support the implementation of new initiatives and projects within the Pillar Structure, and oversee and support organisational systems and processes, making them work efficiently for teams.

As a Kentown Family Service Coordinator, you will be the first point of contact for families referred into the Kentown programme, helping them navigate health, social care, and voluntary sector services. You will:

As Reception and Volunteer Pathway Lead, you will act as the first point of contact for visitors, ensuring a welcoming and professional environment, and also manage incoming calls, emails, and correspondence and maintain a tidy and accessible reception area.  You will also design and deliver a volunteer pathway programme for individuals returning to employment, which will include recruiting and onboarding volunteers with a focus on those who have been out of work and collaborating with internal departments to identify placement opportunities and role specifications.

We're looking for three Communities Development Coordinators to support, develop and grow student-led societies, sports clubs and other communities at Arts SU. This role is all about helping students get involved, whether that's through joining a student group, planning and running events or stepping up as a student leader. You'll be the first point of contact for over 100 student groups, providing tailored support, training and advice to help them thrive. From processing finance requests and booking spaces to helping deliver key events like Welcome Fair, Varsity, and Awards, you'll make sure students and colleagues have what they need to succeed. You'll oversee student group elections, manage the promotion of opportunities, and work with colleagues across UAL to create inclusive spaces where students are welcomed and engaged.
