Our Homecare service has a dynamic team of Coordinators and Field Care Supervisors who will look to you to be proactive and fully engaged in managing the team, strengthening our organisational provision and making sure the team can be free to focus on their incredible work with the vulnerable of London.
Salary: £34,000 - £38,000

SCOPE OF THE ROLE
o To provide a high-quality homecare service that support the rights of our clients to live the lives they choose in a person-centred way
o Efficiently manage the day to day running of the Homecare charity including:
· Allocate resources and monitor performance to deliver high quality homecare to clients within budget
· Manage all aspects of the staff team and provide sound leadership to ensure staff are clear about their respective duties and responsibilities and have the support they need to carry out their roles safely and happily
RESPONSIBILITIES
o Manage the safety and quality of the service in line with legislative requirements and charity’s policy and procedures
o Undertake training and development to keep up to date with the law, best practice and changes in company policy. Apply this knowledge to day-to-day management and delivery of care
o Understand and monitor health and safety in the workplace and in the field. Act as lead for infection prevention and control
o Maintain full and accurate records and reporting systems in accordance with legal requirements and to ensure the effective running of the service.
o Implement quality management and improvement systems. Effectively manage complaints and incidents. Carry out investigations relating to the quality of the service and use findings to make improvements
o Be prepared to work flexibly to ensure the safe delivery of the service
o Provide a good service to clients:
o Promote the rights of each client and keep their wishes at the centre of their care and support
o Make sure that prior to each service commencing, full initial assessments with the client and/or their chosen representatives, has been completed. This includes what the client needs and would like to achieve from their care and support
o Make sure the team have written an individually tailored care and support plan and have agreement that respects the customer’s wishes and promotes their dignity and privacy
o Agree appropriate risk control measures to reduce identified risks
o Provide the customer, and where appropriate their representatives, with information about the service so that they are clear about what to expect and how they can raise any concerns

Lead & Manage Staff:
o Manage the effective recruitment, induction and training of the coordinator (s), supervisor (s), care workers and other support staff, ensuring there are sufficient numbers of suitably qualified staff allocated appropriately to meet service needs at all times
o Identify ongoing training needs and ensure staff are up to date with current best practice
o Implement company policy and procedures in relation to managing absence, disciplinary, capability and grievance matters
o Provide information, guidance and ongoing supervision to enable staff to effectively and safely carry out their roles
o Carry out appraisals and monitoring of staff performance
o Ensure all emergency on-call issues are dealt with effectively, such as covering calls either directly or indirectly when care workers are sick or absent.

Bromley Recovery and Wellbeing College (BRWC) runs a curriculum of free peer and professional-led workshops and courses across the borough of Bromley. We have an exciting opportunity for a Bromley Recovery and Wellbeing College Manager to join SEL Mind on a one year fixed-term basis. You will be a strategic planner, responsible for reviewing, implementing and managing the significant development of Bromley’s Recovery and Wellbeing College (BRWC) You will design and oversee the delivery of quality-assured courses in response to wider local need, providing equity in opportunities and lead on delivering a successful shared vision for the BRWC. The role comes with line management responsibility for a BRWC Coordinator and an administrator, ensuring operational support for the day to day delivery and efficient running of the college as well as support for tutors and students.
You will work closely alongside SEL Mind colleagues as well as our Bromley Mental Health Hub partners Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust. You will also use strong partnership working skills to collaborate with stakeholders across the borough.
You will have experience of successfully delivering learning to others and of line management in a busy, fast paced environment. Purpose of the Job
Hammersmith, Fulham, Ealing & Hounslow Mind deliver services across five sites in West London. Two sites are operated by HFEH Mind and three sites are run by our partners.
We are looking for a proactive and organised Facilities Co-ordinator to support the smooth running of our charity's buildings across all five sites. This is an ideal role for someone with some experience in facilities, property services, or office co-ordination who would like to support a large but locally focused mental health charity.
Key Responsibilities
General
With a commitment to providing high-quality and accessible spaces to a diverse community, working knowledge of the health and safety obligations of operating community buildings, and a friendly, non-judgemental attitude, you will be required to:
Day-to-day Site Operations
- Conduct basic site checks; schedule, prioritise and carry out minor repairs (e.g., replacing lightbulbs, replacing camera batteries, reporting larger maintenance issues).
- Escalate any issues to the Business Support Manager when necessary.
- Ensure spaces are tidy, clean and safe in accordance with health and safety guidelines.
- Maintain guidelines and site handbooks, ensuring all are up to date.
- Ensure supplies checked and well stocked (toiletries, stationery, refreshments, toner).
- Liaise with central services to oversee onsite deliveries.
- Co-ordinate movement of items/ stock between sites.
- Report shared IT and photocopier issues to relevant suppliers.
- Ensure waste disposal at HFEH Mind sites are compliant with local authorities’ guidelines.
Health & Safety Support
- Support with regular fire alarm testing and fire drills.
- Help maintain health and safety records and reports.
- Assist with onboarding staff on building safety (e.g., exits, alarms).
- To be a First Aider and Fire Warden (training will be provided) and ensure training is up to date. Organise other staff to be Fire Wardens.
Security & Access
- Keep track of keys and access fobs; maintain register.
- Ensure security systems are in working order (CCTV, alarms).
- Liaise with external contractors as required.
Coordination & Admin
- Assist Business Support Manager with maintenance schedule and supplier review schedule.
- Maintain records for H&S inspections (fire extinguishers etc) and risk assessments.
- Help gather quotes for minor works or maintenance.
- Ensure all facilities related invoices are provided to finance.
- Check post at registered office(s) regularly and manage facilities email inbox.
- Contribute data for management reports.

The Role: Family Services Manager
As our Family Services Manager, you will provide operational and strategic oversight of all service delivery at Home-Start Lambeth. You will be instrumental in ensuring our services deliver real value to the families we support.

About the Role

- Developing and executing comprehensive fundraising strategies for all monthly and evergreen campaigns, with a primary focus on delivery in our on-air and digital broadcasts.

Key Responsibilities
The Event Manager plans and organises events, from start to finish, to ensure their successful delivery across Brixton House 7 studio spaces, 2 theatres and Café Bar.
No one day is the same at Brixton House. The versatility of the building enables us to host a wide range of events such as Meetings, Screenings, Conferences, Festivals, Music Gigs and Book Launches.
Event Coordination
• Meet with the client to understand the requirements of the event and the vision of the delivery
• Coordinate the various internal teams (technical, production, Customer Service Host) prior and on the day of the event

• Develop and manage the event timeline in efficient manner
Venue Space Management
• Ensure the venue is fully equipped with tools, furniture, AV equipment
