Job Purpose:

About the Role

We're looking for an Activities Coordinator to join our Independent Approved Premises (IAP) based in Havering. This is an exciting opportunity to join a new service which works with offenders as they are released from prison. It is a community based setting, rather than custodial where residents can go out in the community, depending on their Licence restrictions. 

You will play a major part in reintegrating our residents back into the community by coordinating and delivering high quality activities and programmes which work to support individual needs, working in collaboration with the wider team. Some activities may vary but could include days out and visits, awareness days/weeks/months campaigns, cultural celebrations and other meaningful activities to encourage reintegration, and enhance social skills and community engagement.

1. About Sculpt UK 

Sculpt is a UK-based charity with over 20 years’ experience, who support young people to shape their own future. Our vision is that we live in a society where young people can be fulfilled through their education, work and participation in wider society. Sculpt UK is hiring a youth programme officer who would deliver our direct intervention work with young people with a focus on skills building around employment through our holistic work experience programmes. About the role

The One Strong Voice Lived Experience Coordinator will coordinate the work of the OSV network, supporting and mobilising members with lived experience of the UK asylum and immigration system to lead and engage in campaigns and activities. The postholder will work closely with the Asylum Reform Initiative Deputy Director to facilitate the implementation of the OSV vision and strategies which strengthen Lived Experience leadership across the refugee and migrant sector. The post holder facilitates engagement of OSV members and, when required, may need to represent OSV in external stakeholder forums.

About you

You will have lived experience of the asylum and migration system, together with knowledge of huma rights and issues affecting refugees, people seeking asylum and migrants in the UK.  You will have excellent organisational and inter personal skills to enable you to coordinate workshops and events, some of these will be in the evening.

In return, we offer a competitive package, with a generous 30-day annual leave entitlement, and 6% employer pension contribution (minimum 1% employee contribution).

Our policy is that all appointments will be at the start of the salary range but successful candidates will have the opportunity to move up the scale over time. The role
As a Training and Events Coordinator, you’ll support the planning and delivery of a busy portfolio of online, hybrid, and in-person training courses and events. You’ll manage multiple activities at once, ensuring excellent standards of organisation, communication, and customer service.
You’ll work closely with delegates, trainers, speakers, and internal teams often at a senior level so confidence, attention to detail, and adaptability are key.
 
Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the end-to-end delivery of training courses (predominantly online)
• Support the operational delivery of events and conferences
• Manage bookings, databases, inboxes, and event systems accurately
• Set up and support online events, including live troubleshooting
• Liaise with venues, facilities, and IT teams for in-person and hybrid events

 
About you
You’ll have experience in events coordination, training administration, or a similar role, alongside:

• Strong organisational and time-management skills
• Excellent attention to detail and customer service
• Confidence using Microsoft Office and online event platforms
• A proactive, collaborative approach and willingness to learn

The Training Co‑ordinator/Legal Advisor is a key member of ASAP’s team, leading on our training programme — one of ASAP’s three core strands of work.

This is an exciting, outward‑facing role with real scope to develop your skills and make a tangible impact. You will play a central part in building knowledge and confidence across the asylum support advice sector, ensuring that people seeking asylum receive high‑quality, accurate advice wherever they are in the UK. 

The role includes:

• Co-ordinating, developing and delivering engaging, accessible training and guidance on asylum support, including interactive webinars and e-learning modules for advice workers across the UK.
• Co-ordinating ASAP’s Asylum Support Advice Network (ASAN) — an online professional network of over 1,000 asylum support advisers.
• Providing legal advice and representation for destitute people seeking asylum at the Asylum Support Tribunal (AST), as well as offering advice to other advisers via ASAP’s second-tier Advice Line.

You will:

• Have strong communication skills, with the ability to explain legal concepts clearly and confidently to a range of audiences.
• Be a collaborative team player who enjoys working closely with others in a small, supportive team.
• Be legally minded, with a strong interest in the law and how it can be used to challenge injustice and uphold rights.
• Have a good understanding of the asylum support system — ideally gained through direct advice work or closely related experience.

You do not need to be legally qualified, but you do need enthusiasm for legal work and a commitment to using the law as a tool for positive change.

High Trees is seeking a Youth Employment Support Service Coordinator for our Build Your Future programme. Build Your Future is a targeted youth employment project supporting young people aged 16–24 who are not in education, employment or training (NEET). The project provides holistic, person-centred support combining outreach and engagement, pastoral support, employability skills development and progression into education, training or work.

The project is primarily delivered in-house by High Trees, working in partnership with other local delivery partners. Build Your Future focuses on young people facing multiple barriers, including care-experienced young people, migrants and refugees, young people with SEND, and those experiencing social or economic exclusion.

The Build Your Future Project Coordinator plays a central role in ensuring the effective day-to-day delivery of the project. Working closely with High Trees delivery teams and partner organisations, the postholder will coordinate outreach and engagement activity, support the provision of high-quality pastoral support for young people, and ensure strong project coordination, monitoring and reporting.

This role will suit someone who is highly organised, collaborative and passionate about supporting young people facing multiple barriers into education, training and employment.

The role requires a balance of coordination, communication and relationship-building skills. You will work closely with colleagues across Employment & Careers and Children, Young People & Families teams, as well as with delivery partners, to ensure Build Your Future is delivered to a high standard.

The post holder will also play an important role in monitoring and evaluation, maintaining accurate records and supporting reporting requirements linked to external funding.

South East London Mind’s award-winning Mindful Mums Programme aims to build resilience and prevent pregnant and new mums from developing mental health problems during the perinatal period (pregnancy up to 1 year). This year marks the service’s 10-year anniversary, supporting over 4,000 parents across South East London.

Our peer support volunteers are at the heart of what we do, helping us to deliver weekly wellbeing groups, walking groups and one-to-one befriending for new mothers and birthing people. Their dedication makes a real difference, and we are committed to supporting them every step of the way.

We are seeking a proactive Senior Peer Support Coordinator to lead on the provision of a high-quality peer support volunteer programme for over 50 volunteers. This role is responsible for all aspects of the volunteer life cycle, from marketing and recruitment, delivery of induction training on perinatal mental health and psychoeducational tools used within Mindful Mums, through to reflective supervision, delivering our CPD programme and finding the right role for each volunteer within the service. 

You will work alongside Senior Project Coordinators and the Service Manager to ensure we deliver on our targets, supporting with programming our wellbeing groups and one-to-one befriending. You will be a skilled people manager and effective communicator, responsible for the line management of staff and ensuring the service is represented at stakeholder and partner community events. You will be a confident facilitator, as some group delivery will be expected.

Like us, you will be passionate and knowledgeable about the role of peer support within recovery-focused perinatal mental health and the NHS Competence Framework for Mental Health Peer Support Workers. You will be experienced in supporting volunteers, providing supervision and acting as a mentor in their professional development. You will be highly organised with experience of project management in a target-driven environment.  An ability to work independently but collaboratively, to be proactive and highly organised is essential for this role.
