About you

Do you want to use your skills to make it possible for people with myeloma to live longer and better lives?  Are you an experienced event organiser looking for a new challenge?  We are looking for someone with event and project management experience who has excellent communication and relationship building skills to join the team responsible for delivering our programme of events. 

You’ll have good negotiation and presentation skills, a focus on detail and the ability to manage a variety of tasks often to tight deadlines.  You will need a thorough understanding of the principles of event management and how to identify and meet the needs of service users through event delivery as well as knowledge of systems for event evaluation and service improvement.

Previous experience of organising digital events and training or facilitating groups would be an advantage but not essential. 

About the role

The Information Events Coordinator will deliver the patient and family myeloma and AL amyloidosis information events programme consisting of face-to-face and online events hosted by the team and held throughout the UK, developing the strategy for the programme and implementing event activity with the aim to increase participation and attendance.

The role holder will organise the planning, coordination and delivery of the information events programme including administration, promotion and marketing, dealing with event logistics and delivery on the day.  You will monitor the associated income and expenditure for the information events programme ensuring that the programme is delivered to budget.

You will also be responsible for organising the planning and delivery of the digital events programme, dealing with promotion and marketing and taking ownership of technical aspects of running online events as well as developing marketing material and a publicity and communications strategy for the information events programme.

The Opportunity   

The postholder will be responsible for supporting with the oversight of our Aspiring Professionals Programme and Programme Delivery team, with approximately 70% of the activity provision sitting within our Volunteering and Mentoring provision.

The SMF offers in-person and online support and opportunities, so this role will involve providing virtual and in-person support to students and working with employers across the UK.

1. Line Management  

• Set and monitor goals for performance and development with direct reports  
• Coach staff, providing timely feedback and guidance 
• Evaluate performance on an ongoing basis, providing training and development opportunities where required  

 2. Project and Delivery Management  

• Project manage key delivery projects including the recruitment and retention of volunteers and mentors, event provision, student services and other programme work areas 
• Allocate staff to work areas across the Aspiring Professionals Programme, ensuring priority areas are being considered and work is allocated effectively  

3. Monitoring and Evaluation  

• Monitor progress on ongoing key delivery areas, taking corrective action where necessary and supporting the team to adapt where necessary  
• Oversee Salesforce data and other relevant platforms ensuring accuracy and timely updates  

4. Stakeholder Management  

• Steward relationships with critical stakeholders  
• Support staff to communicate efficiently with stakeholders  
• Identify opportunities for efficiency within process and work with the team to implement change

This is an exciting opportunity to support the work of a small psychotherapy and mental health charity 

Working alongside our office administrator and houses coordinator, you will support the Chair and Treasurer to ensure the smooth running of the finances of the organization.

This is a permanent role for the equivalent of one day a week (8 hours) hybrid working. You will be based in our office in Hampstead, London one afternoon a week (day can be negotiated), and the other hours will be worked when needed. Working closely with the Area Manager, Service Managers, NHS Trust partners and Experts by Experience, you'll identify emerging needs and design volunteer roles that genuinely enhance clinical and support pathways. You'll champion a whole‑person approach supporting physical, emotional, social and spiritual wellbeing, while inspiring staff teams to think creatively about how volunteers can add meaningful value. From recruiting and training volunteers to delivering befriending and activity programmes, to supervising their day‑to‑day involvement, you'll ensure every volunteer feels confident, supported and aligned with service priorities. You'll build strong relationships across Hestia, particularly within our crisis alternative services, and offer expert guidance to colleagues to ensure best practice. With responsibility for maintaining accurate records and contributing to the smooth running of the Volunteering Programme, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our services remain responsive, compassionate and impactful. About the role

We are looking to hire a Senior Fundraising Events Coordinator within Restless Development’s UK Fundraising team. The fundraising team’s income has grown year on year and there is huge potential to continue to grow this further and create impact at scale.

The Senior Fundraising Events Coordinator will be primarily working on the Schools Triathlon programme and managing all PR & social media comms, and also supporting on both merchandise and sponsor management. The Schools Triathlon is the UK’s largest fundraising and sporting event for children aged 7-13. Its aim is to encourage more children into sport while also teaching them the importance of fundraising. Over the years, the events have raised over £3.4m for Restless Development and local charities and over 9,000 children have taken part. We are aiming to deliver 15 events in 2026 and significantly expand the series.. 

We are looking for an energetic team-player, proactive individual with great interpersonal skills who is happy to learn and get stuck in. 

Key responsibilities

Deliver and event manage high-quality Schools Triathlon events in 2026 and beyond 

• Throughout September to February, present assemblies for the Schools Triathlon to inspire school-age pupils to sign up and take part in the Schools Triathlon series, and motivate them to fundraise by delivering a fun and engaging presentation.
• Develop strong professional relationships with various important stakeholders from host schools throughout the year, in person and online; as well as with participating schools through the delivery of assemblies and in comms prior to the event day. 
• Work with our event delivery partners to deliver 15 events throughout April, May and June 2026, ensuring that the event logistics, host school requirements, participant details are finalised and managing host school relations.
• Respond to enquiries from parents and guardians on our dedicated inbox and mobile phone when needed.
• Develop a good working relationship with the Triathlon Committee, made up of Restless Development staff and volunteers, while still keeping the appropriate members informed and bringing in support as and when needed.
• Update on relevant KPIs and income where needed
• Support the Senior Fundraising Manager with recruitment of regional volunteers when needed

Schools Triathlon social media & PR 

• Lead on all social media activity for the Schools Triathlon across  our social media channels
• Lead on liaising with external PR and Host school stakeholders to deliver exceptional PR across the Schools Triathlon event series
• Lead on being the main contact for all Host School marketing teams, ensuring effective working relationships are in place and maintained to an excellent standard
• Report monthly on KPIs, ensuring effective tracking for social engagement across all channels
• Work closely with the Comms team, to ensure best working practices and collaboration is in place
• Together with the Head of Fundraising, lead on the drafting and development of the Schools Triathlon parent comms
• Manage the partnership with our events photographers

Sponsors

• Together with the Head of Fundraising, develop a sponsors partnership prospect list that aligns with our social values for year 2027 and beyond
• Lead on the project plan for our sponsors with support from the Head of Fundraising
• Set, monitor and report on the progress of KPIs and fundraising as and when needed
• Work with the wider team to plan and deliver an excellent stewardship journey for sponsors ensuring continued engagement 

Systems, Processes & Communications

• Support the wider team with event comms responding in a timely and professional manner.
• Use DotDigital to communicate to  schools and event participants 
• Competent use of Excel to process data and regularly update internal and external databases.
• Manage the Schools Triathlon website, ensuring that it is up to date and relevant.
• Accurate and timely logging of information into Restless Development’s registration system Eventrac and CRM, Salesforce – executing mass imports, new individual records, and regularly cleaning data.
• Understand and manage fundraising using the digital fundraising platform, JustGiving, ensure all pages set up are logged on our CRM.

Other 

• Must attend the Schools Triathlons as needed across April, May and June and other occasional evening and weekend work, for which time off in lieu will be given.
• Support on wider charity initiatives as and when needed
• Many of the schools we have relationships with are not accessible by public transport, so it is vital you have access to a reliable roadworthy vehicle. All travel will be reimbursed in accordance with Restless Development’s travel policy.
• Manage our Schools Triathlon Leader programme, working with the wider team to recruit and develop the opportunity for graduates/young people

Working hours and location

This role will ideally be hybrid / London-based. We can currently provide London office space on Mondays (Victoria), Thursdays (Shoreditch) and Fridays (Victoria). (Please note we don’t currently have any other staff members in the office on a Friday.) We will occasionally hold team days in London - you will be given advance notice of these dates. We may be able to offer remote working for an exceptional candidate, but our preference would be for a hybrid schedule with at least one day in the office (Monday or Thursday) per week - please note this could be a shorter day, e.g. 9-3 to accommodate other commitments.

Change for Good recently grew from a local mentoring charity in HMP Wandsworth to an innovative resettlement charity serving 4 London prisons. 

We provide prison leavers with one-to-one mentoring and welcome them into our peer-led support group Next Chapter Community.  

The Volunteer Coordinator will be self-motivating and energetic, with experience and heart for vulnerable people leaving prison. They will be comfortable working with members with lived experience of the justice system, and with using interpersonal skills to develop relationships with diverse communities and congregations who may be a source of volunteers. They will be engaging and recruiting potential volunteers and managing and equipping volunteers in their work. The Volunteer Coordinator will have empathy with Change for Good’s faith-based values and ethos.

Contract Type: Full-time, fixed term until 31 December 2026, with the intention of extending, depending on funding. 

Location: Hybrid (2 days per week in the London office) 

Reports to: Senior Consultant 

Salary and Benefits: £28k, plus discretionary annual bonus, 35 days leave per annum (inclusive of bank holidays), a 6% employer pension contribution, the option to work from any location for up to 25 working days per year.

The Role

Future Advocacy is seeking a Research, Advocacy and Communications Coordinator. This is a great opportunity to be thrown in at the deep end in a small but growing, dynamic organisation that places a strong focus on team and personal development. The successful candidate will gain hands-on experience in a range of skills, including research, advocacy, writing, and communications. They will work closely with, and learn from, our energetic and talented team at all levels, contributing directly to our campaigns and initiatives from day one.

Requirements

About the role:

We are excited to be recruiting a 0.4 FTE Success Projects Coordinator to join the Success Projects team.

The role will support the delivery of success projects. This will include supporting with our university transition programme, Join the Dots, alongside supporting bespoke projects delivered in partnership with universities and schools that sit outside the charity’s established programmes. Priorities for the team include delivering and evaluating Join the Dots at a high quality, ensuring good engagement in our programmes, and prioritising projects that address discrete inequalities (for example, working with mature learners and young people who have been in local authority care). 

This role will support the delivery of projects to support these priorities. This includes working with partners to define the scope and objectives of projects, working with colleagues across other teams in the charity to deliver projects and managing the logistics of project delivery.
