Role overview:
As a member of MTL’s senior management team, you will take responsibility for the organisation’s growth and outward facing initiatives. You will lead and manage the organisation’s portfolio of social mobility leadership strands, and develop strong working relationships with key stakeholders. You will provide dynamic day-to-day leadership for the MTL’s directorate responsible for income generation, impact, research, communications and policy, and ensure the organisation continues to be an exemplar of innovation, integrity and collaboration. You will also be contributing to, implementing and monitoring delivery of the organisation’s strategic plan.

The role requires effective collaboration, strong writing ability, attention to detail and the creativity to deliver exciting and impactful donor engagement opportunities
The successful candidate will have the following:
- Experience of working in a successful and busy fundraising environment.
- Previous experience providing engaging experiences and written collateral for individuals, Trusts or corporate partners.
- An understanding of donor cultivation and stewardship strategies, processes and events.
- Experience of delivering and improving processes and systems.
- Strong written communication skills.

LSESU is looking for someone who is highly organised and passionate about student experience to join our Student Voice Team. Key Responsibilities
Philanthropy Leadership

This is a senior-level role involves developing and delivering strategic media plans that raise awareness, increase support, and position the charity as a partner of choice for donors, fundraisers and corporate sponsors. The Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) brings together 15 of the UK’s leading aid charities to raise funds quickly and efficiently at times of humanitarian crisis overseas. As Philanthropy and Partnerships Officer, you will play an essential role in helping us build and sustain the long-term funding relationships that support our emergency appeals and strategic work.
