From individual giving to legacy fundraising, community events to corporate partnerships – you’ll oversee all our fundraising income streams and build long-term supporter engagement. You’ll champion creativity, collaboration and data-led decision-making in order to drive continuous improvement and sustainable growth.

The Trust offers hybrid working, with staff splitting their time between offices, reserves, visitor centres and some remote work, depending on their role.

What you'll be doing:

• Building and managing strong relationships with corporate partners across Kent and the UK.
• Identifying and converting new business supporters into Trust members and partners.
• Developing tailored proposals and securing funding from new and existing companies.
• Managing a portfolio of corporate supporters, increasing income and providing excellent stewardship.
• Supporting corporate partnerships through staff engagement, fundraising and volunteering activities.
• Contributing to income targets, tracking performance, and assisting with budgeting and forecasts.
• Maintaining accurate CRM records and ensuring compliance with data protection and charity regulations.
• Staying up to date with fundraising trends and supporting broader team initiatives where needed.

What we need you to bring:

• Significant experience working in a fundraising or similar role within a charity or non-profit setting, to include writing funding proposals and stewardship reports.
• Knowledge of high value fundraising techniques including a clear understanding of prospecting, cultivating, securing and managing partnerships.
• Strong communication and storytelling skills, both written and oral, with the ability to turn complex ideas into concise and effective cases for support.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Able to manage a varied workload and balance conflicting priorities to meet deadlines.
• Confidence working independently, as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
• Ability to build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Location: Options for role to be site-based (Buckinghamshire or East Yorkshire), hybrid or home-based contract with regular UK travel for meetings and pitches.

Hearing Dogs for Deaf People, whose mission is to see a time when no deaf person feels alone, is seeking a Case for Support & Impact Manager to develop completing, donor-centric materials that articular the impact, urgency and strategic importance of the charity’s work.

Hearing Dogs for Deaf People has been creating life-changing partnerships between hearing dogs and deaf recipients since 1982. As well as acting as an ear to their partners and alerting them to sounds, the charity’s clever and expertly trained dogs help deaf people to live life with confidence and independence, whilst providing love, companionship and emotional support.

Following on from a strategic review, the charity is now looking to build a new Income Generation Directorate, to enable them to transform many more lives across the UK. This role will be critical to help Hearing Dogs reach their goals to diversify income, expand their philanthropy programme and increase engagement and impact.

Reporting to the Head of Philanthropy, this role will be responsible for translating complex programmes and ambitions into clear, inspiring and emotionally resonant content for high-value supporters including major donors, trusts, foundations and corporate partners. Essential experience for this role includes a proven track record in developing high-quality fundraising cases for support, proposals or donor communications in a charity or social impact setting. As well as excellent project management and organisational skills, you will have a strong understanding of high-value fundraising, particularly philanthropy and trusts and foundations funding.

About the Role

The MENA Death Penalty Caseworker will undertake a range of activities in support of Reprieve’s work on cases of individuals on death row or at risk of the death penalty across the MENA region, including casework and investigations into individual cases and the broader death penalty landscape, support to Reprieve clients, and support to partner organisations and lawyers in the MENA region and beyond. The MENA Death Penalty Caseworker is an integral member of the MENA Team, and will work closely with the Media, Campaigns and Digital, and UK and US Policy teams, and the Directors and Deputy Directors. Background on MENA Death Penalty Work

Several countries in the MENA region consistently rank amongst the highest executing states in the world. Reprieve is one of few international organisations working on combatting the use of the death penalty in the region, working with partners primarily on Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Egypt, and monitoring the use of the death penalty across the wider region. The MENA team’s work is diverse and constantly evolving to shape, respond to, and anticipate changes in the domestic and regional death penalty landscape. Our strategy in any given jurisdiction is developed in collaboration with – and informed by – our partners and fellows. Direct casework on strategic cases is core to our work in all regions, and includes legal, political and advocacy strategies as appropriate. We look in particular to find and develop cases and narratives which have the potential to change the landscape and benefit as many individuals or classes of individuals as possible. We also undertake and assist with longer term thematic projects and engage with regional and international mechanisms and organs where it is strategic to do so.

This is a full-time position on a one-year fixed term contract, to cover parental leave, based on a minimum of 37.5 hours per week. Due to the global and sometimes urgent nature of Reprieve’s work, flexibility on working hours will sometimes be required. 

Youth Futures Foundation is looking for a senior External Affairs professional to lead a busy multi-disciplinary team to drive our reputational, influencing and engagement work as the What Works Centre for Youth Employment.

About the role

• This is a newly created role where you will have responsibility for driving an integrated approach to our audience influencing to deliver our strategic objectives, through collective oversight across our public affairs, stakeholder relations, communications and marketing work.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Halton Haven Hospice as one of our Fundraising Managers, leading our fundraising team to achieve ambitious targets through a diverse portfolio of income streams.

We are looking for an experienced fundraiser who can develop and grow our income streams, including running successful events and campaigns, building and maintaining relationships with corporate partners and working closely with our community supporters and organisations.  You will jointly manage our fundraising team and support them to deliver targets, provide excellent stewardship and raise awareness of our work in the local community.

Demonstrable experience of event management and working with budgets and financial targets is essential, as is the ability to confidently communicate with stakeholders at all levels. Direct experience within the non-profit sector, particularly in international development or aid, understanding of fundraising principles, experience in copywriting, video editing skills, and familiarity with using AI tools to enhance writing are desirable.

Hybrid Working: This role is based in Teddington, operating a hybrid working model with an agreed amount of time spent in the office and working remotely from your home in the UK.

The Fundraising and Grants Officer will support and coordinate the effective delivery of First Steps ED’s fundraising activities in line with our charity strategy. The Fundraising and Grants Officer will assist the Head of Fundraising and Communications by developing and implementing fundraising campaigns and communication with external stakeholders which includes bid writing, external fundraising and fundraising support. This position requires a charity sector communicator who has a background of bid writing, grants and fundraising support within the charity sector.

Role Overview:
The Fundraising and Grants Officer will play a crucial role in developing and implementing fundraising strategies to support our services. This position requires a proactive individual with excellent communication skills and a strong understanding of fundraising processing and grant/bid writing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and Implement Fundraising Strategies: Implement a comprehensive fundraising plan to meet financial targets.
• Supporter Care and Data Management: Manage stewardship data, including maintaining fundraising pages, using Beacon CRM, and other fundraising platforms.
• Bid Writing for Trusts: Research and write bids for trusts to secure funding.
• Prospecting for Trusts, Foundations, and Corporates: Identify and approach potential funding sources, including trusts, foundations, and corporate partners.
• Event Planning: Organise and manage fundraising events, including charity runs, galas, and community activities.
• Coordinate Community and Challenge Events: Plan and oversee community and challenge events to engage supporters and raise funds.
• Manage Fundraising Volunteers: Recruit, train, and manage fundraising volunteers to support various initiatives and plans.
• Assist in Coordinating Friends of Network: Support the coordination of the Friends of Network to enhance community engagement.
• Grant Writing: Research and apply for grants from foundations, private companies, and local authority or NHS bodies.
• Campaign Management: Oversee fundraising campaigns, including online and offline initiatives.
• Reporting: Monitor and report on fundraising activities, providing regular updates to senior management and Head of Fundraising and Communications.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to align fundraising efforts with the charities goals.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a fundraising role, preferably within the non-profit sector/ charity sector.
• Education: A Level or equivalent experience in Marketing, Communications, Bid writing, or related field.

Skills:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Proven ability to create and maintain fundraising reports.
• Proficiency in fundraising software and CRM systems.
• Excellent organisational and planning skills.
