This key role presents an excellent opportunity to see projects through from conception to completion and to play a part in shaping how we work and what we do. You will have responsibility for day-to-day operation of UCISA, including technical Infrastructure and systems used to deliver UCISA’s services to our members. You will deputise on operational matters for the CEO and represent and advocate for UCISA alongside other management team colleagues.
You will be reporting directly to and working closely with UCISA’s CEO and have opportunities to develop your own skills in running an organisation in an innovative and agile way. Ultimately, you’ll ensure our operations run smoothly and that people are productive.
The role sits within the Management Team and the post holder will deputise for the CEO alongside management colleagues.
Summary of key Terms and Conditions
Contract: Permanent Full time, Oxford based, hybrid
Hours per week: 37.5, Monday-Friday with some flexibility to support UCISA events and participate in team days
Salary: £55,000-£65,000 per year (depending on candidate experience and skill set)

About the role

What you’ll be working on
- Lead on IHP’s 20th anniversary campaign including overseeing a pivotal stakeholder engagement event
- Implement and embed IHP’s newly developed brand identity across the organisation and across external channels.
-Oversee the marketing strategy for our self-designed and revolutionary software system, Boaz, helping to reach new customers and position as a leader in its field.
- Manage relationships with external stakeholders to develop communications opportunities and amplify IHP’s voice including employee engagement opportunities.
- Manage relationship with our social media agency to effectively execute IHP’s communications objectives and grow our audiences and engagement.
- Oversee the marketing delivery of our annual Christmas fundraising campaign.

Your new role
The Corporate Fundraising Manager role is instrumental in driving the charities' mission forward by creating, managing and expanding their portfolio of corporate partnerships. As a Partnerships Officer (PO) you will be responsible for providing support across our national partnership team. This team is responsible for developing and engaging our corporate, trust, school and individual supporters, helping Envision to grow with impact. This role will have a particular focus on the development of corporate partnerships which provide mentor teams to support our young people’s development and funding to support our own sustainability.
Working closely with the Director of People and Partnerships, Regional Managers, the Senior Partnerships Manager and another Partnerships Officer, you will provide research, administration, and business development across the wider team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Partnerships Team in meeting income targets from diverse donor sources.
- Research and grow potential supporters across various donor types.
- Manage partnership records and serve as the primary contact for inquiries.
- Provide administrative support to the wider team.
- Uphold Envision’s values and be a role model for young people and volunteers.
- Ensure that all activity is delivered in line with Envision policies and procedures.
Essential Experience, Knowledge and Competencies:
- Experience of project management – highly organised, with the ability to manage your own time to meet deadlines
- Experience of working collaboratively with internal and external colleagues, partners and stakeholders – communicating effectively through written and verbal communication
- Experience of working within a fundraising capacity or generating new business – including desk research and self-generating new leads
- Commitment to Envision’s vision, mission and values and ability to work well in, and contribute to, our organisational culture

- Understanding of, and/ or lived experience of, the barriers that young people face, that contribute to the education and employment gap

People to Places is a charitable organisation based in the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead, UK. It provides a community transport service for residents of the area who have transportation and/or mobility issues due to age, sickness or disability (mental or physical), poverty, or because of a lack of adequate and safe public transport services. With a fleet of minibuses specially adapted to assist people with mobility equipment or additional mobility needs, People to Places delivers high-quality services aimed at improving social inclusion and accessibility. In addition, we also provide Shopmobility services in Windsor and Maidenhead town centres, this service provides the loan of wheelchairs and mobility scooters to people with limited mobility, to help them shop and access leisure and commercial facilities within the area.
We’ve been fundraising since 1988, but this newly created role allows you to consolidate our past successes, significantly diversifying and enhancing the quality and value of our supporter base.
As a senior manager in the organisation, this post gives you the opportunity to develop our support for local people who are lonely, isolated and with little or no mobility. Therefore, you will contribute to enhancing the organisation, as well as playing a critical fundraising role.
You are ambitious, with the drive and expertise across a range of fundraising activities. So, you will have:
- Experience with identifying funding opportunities, particularly through grants, maintaining a pipeline of opportunities, taking a creative approach to problem solving, to capitalise on opportunities.
- A good track record of achieving fundraising targets, generating income through a range of sources including Trusts/high net worth individuals, Corporate Partners and Commissioned Services.

Our charity is growing, and we are now looking for our first employed Fundraiser who will take the lead on all fundraising activities and will be responsible for helping us raise funds from Trusts and Corporates. The role will be focused on grant bidwriting and will include exploration and development of other partnerships, as well as helping us develop other areas of fundraising activity such as individual giving.
The Fundraiser will be part of a small dedicated team who work to help families and professionals to support children and young people with ADHD. Researching and creating a pipeline for target grant applications and being proactive in identifying grant opportunities.

Agree with Chair and Executive Director annual approach to grants to be targeted ie core vs project.

Prepare draft applications working closely with Executive Director to include relevant case studies and quotes, service statistics, etc.

Coordinate review and sign off process and make submissions within the required deadlines of funders.

Maintain databases on grant applications and ensure all applications and related working papers are filed on the central filing system.

Ensure that monitoring and evaluation forms are completed on a timely basis.

Other partnerships

Develop and maintain a plan to identify corporates and other parties to partner with either in sponsorship arrangements, seeking donations or becoming a corporates selected charity to receive organisational support.

Work closely with colleagues on mapping out local corporates and schools to be approached by them.
