Purpose of the role

As Fundraising Assistant at sister charities, ACCT UK and CCFA, you will play a key role in the growth of existing fundraising and in the creation of new income streams. Stewarding fundraisers, helping to develop new and existing fundraising campaigns, building relationships internally within the cadet organisations and externally with Trusts and Foundations, corporates and major givers. You will provide administrative and operational support, including maintaining the fundraising database. About the role

As the Events Fundraiser you will be required to research, promote and deliver fundraising events, campaigns and activities, providing excellent stewardship to supporters, whilst working to help achieve monthly fundraising income targets.  You will work to deliver an annual calendar of runs, walks, challenge and sporting events across the UK as well increasing support through Myeloma UK virtual and Facebook events.

The role holder will work with the Senior Event Development Fundraiser to provide the highest quality of event delivery as well as developing relationships, securing support, marketing, delivering and monitoring the event ensuring post event evaluation and future recommendations are made.  They will also work closely with Community Fundraisers, supporting them as they identify opportunities to expand and diversify their fundraising portfolio.

You will work with other teams, develop materials required to support all marketing and promotion of events, ensuring organisational brand, style and key messages are adopted and ensure maximum use of database and other technology to increase operational efficiency within event fundraising.

The Role

As Fundraising Manager, you’ll play a central role in helping Winning Scotland deliver sustainable growth by identifying and securing new income across trusts and foundations, corporate partnerships, statutory and government funding, and public sector contracts.

Working closely with programme leads and the senior leadership team, you’ll research, prioritise, and secure funding opportunities to support the charity’s ambitious growth plans over the next 2–3 years. Background information

Education

• A relevant professional qualification at SCQF Level 9 or above or equivalent knowledge acquired by other means.

Experience

• Experience in both fundraising (multiple and sustainable income streams) and communications(fundraising and organisation-wide), with evidence of developing strategy and delivery as well as management and leadership of these areas.

• Proven success in securing  income through a range of income channels including grants and trusts, partnerships, running campaigns, and raising profile.

Fundraising Officer

This is an exciting opportunity to join an ambitious and talented fundraising team

We are looking for an experienced Fundraising Officer to join our small and friendly fundraising team. You will support the High Value Partnerships Manager and Community & Events Fundraising Manager, both of which are already well-established income streams with lots of great potential. It’s a great opportunity to work across varied income streams including Corporate, Trusts & Grants, Community, Fundraising Events and Individual/Regular Giving.

Contract: Permanent
Hours:  37 hours per week (negotiable for the right candidate)
Flexibility: We are a flexible employer and most of our staff are juggling things (including caring for multiples!) We are great at making jobs work around life.
Salary: £24,000 - £27,000
Reports to: High Value Partnerships Manager 
Work location: Hybrid/remote. Office space in London Bridge, although entirely remote option is fine. Travel to partner meetings/events will also be required.

Purpose of the role

• Reporting to the High Value Partnerships Manager you will provide support across our two priority Fundraising streams – Community Fundraising (Community, Events and Individual/Regular Giving) and High Value Partnerships (Trusts, Grants, Corporate and Sponsorship).
• Conducting prospect research (Corporate and Trusts/Grants) creating a pipeline of targeted opportunities, and submitting applications for lower level funding
• Providing excellent relationship management to those in our community who fundraise for us, whether that’s as a Regular Giver or Marathon runner
• Providing support to the Manager planning Fundraising Events, recruiting participants, attending and cheering on our fundraisers and thanking our supporters
• Accountable for delivering our annual raffle and ongoing Lottery programme
• Support the wider Development team with admin relating to Fundraising

Ideal candidate

The ideal candidate will have experience either in supporting the delivery of High Value partnerships or Community Fundraising. They will be able to demonstrate how they have researched partnerships and/or submitted funding applications, providing excellent stewardship and creating meaningful partnerships that lead to long term support for the charity.

As a Community Fundraising Manager for Dementia UK, you will lead a team of regionally based fundraisers to grow income across community fundraising streams, with a strategic focus on high value supporter acquisition and engagement across regional corporates, organisations and individuals.

You will collaborate with the Head of Community Fundraising and Senior Relationship Fundraising Manager to deliver the community fundraising strategy and develop annual budgets.

You will be responsible for guiding your team to identify and secure community fundraising partnerships, building a strong pipeline of new business and developing exceptional supporter journeys. You will deliver exceptional stewardship for some of the team’s highest value supporters, that drives increased average gifts and long-term support.

Additionally, you will produce regular reports on marketing activities and stewardship performance, monitor financial and non-financial KPIs, and continuously leverage supporter insight data and external trend analysis to identify opportunities for income growth and operational improvements.

To succeed in this role, you will have a proven track record of delivering income across community fundraising streams, and an understanding of effective relationship fundraising techniques. You will be a strong motivator with experience in using a relationship database to support, inform and report on fundraising activity.

This role will predominately cover a defined region including North East England counties, East midlands, East Anglia, London and South East England, but you may on occasion be required to travel outside of this area to meet business need and attending mtgs and training in the London head office.

About the Development Operations & Stewardship Manager role:

This job sits within the Museum’s Development Team, supporting a team of fundraisers to build philanthropic relationships, corporate partnerships and run National Museums Scotland’s Membership programme. The successful candidate will report to the Head of Development and be a senior member of the Development team. The post holder will bring experience and knowledge of best practice across the full Development Operations function, including CRM and supporter insight, prospect research, and financial reconciliation and reporting. They will be excited by the opportunity to embed new ways of working within the Development team and to contribute to National Museums Scotland mission.

As Development Operations & Stewardship Manager at National Museums Scotland you will:

• Ensure that the CRM system(s) support fundraising objectives, processes and reporting requirements, maximising opportunities for actionable insights that enable fundraising growth
• Analyse and use supporter data to advise the department on strategic decisions, as well as preparing financial reports and forecasts
• Devise and lead a strategic prospect research plan, aligned with strategic funding priorities
