About the role
This Paralegal role shall support the Managing Counsel across a range of legal and operational needs, with their primary responsibility being drafting and reviewing of agreements and contracts requested across the organisation (i.e., grants, service agreements, supplier contracts, consultancy agreements). They will serve as partner to the reginal programme teams and work closely with the global functions (i.e. finance, operations), based in the UK. The Paralegal will contribute to process improvements and training efforts, ensuring legal and operational practices are efficient, consistent, and values-aligned.
We are looking for an agile and curious learner who can proactivey understand the context, needs and perspectives of stakeholders. A successful candidate need will be a forward-thinker with keen attention to detail, who thrives on continuous process improvement and working collaboratively with a varied range of stakeholders. A formal legal qualification is desirable but not required.
What you will bring
· A minimum of 2 years’ experience drafting and reviewing contracts. Experience working in a not-for-profit environment on grant management contracts and administration is preferable but not essential.
· Proven project management, time management, and organisation skills, with an ability to manage competing priorities across global teams.
· Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and consistency in all aspects of contract management, documentation, and communication.

Harris Hill is supporting the wonderful charity AfriKids, to find maternity cover for their current Philanthropy Manager post, starting ASAP for 9 months, possiibly longer.
This role can be full time, or 4dpw, working hybrid based, mostly remote, with 1 day per month in the London office.

We are praying for a talented Director of Fundraising and Supporter Partnerships to join our Leadership Team. You will be inheriting a skilled and diverse team raising income from individuals, legacies, trusts and foundations, corporates and major donors with the support from a new CRM system, to fulfil your responsibilities.

The Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) is a unique and dynamic membership organisation which comprises 15 of the UK’s leading humanitarian agencies.
The DEC launches appeals when there is a humanitarian emergency of such magnitude to warrant a national UK response, with most DEC funds being raised over an intensive two-week period following a disaster. DEC fundraising appeals benefit from the combined expertise of our member agencies, resulting in wide-reaching appeals across high-profile TV, radio, and an increasing number of digital channels.
Reporting to the Head of Public Fundraising, the Direct Marketing Manager (Retention) is responsible for shaping and delivering new and existing supporter journeys for DEC individual, community and legacy donors, and leading a programme of improvement across all major contact points between the DEC and the public.
As Direct Marketing Manager (Retention), you will:
- Contribute to and develop DEC direct marketing strategies, including the refreshing, implementation and analysis of DEC’s segmentation, in order to maximise future income and continually improve the retention of individual supporters for future emergency appeals
- Lead on the production of retention and reporting back materials for individual and community supporters
- Manage the development and maintenance of specific supporter journeys
- Develop and oversee the materials and supporter positioning for a light-touch and mainly reactive legacy marketing programme for the DEC
Person specification:
- Strong direct marketing experience with a focus on high volume donor retention, with demonstrable knowledge of donor motivations, managing donor relationships, and direct marketing techniques such as direct mail, email, SMS and SMS content management systems
- A proven track record of developing effective digital and direct marketing strategies, which resulted in significant growth of income and retention of a charity’s individual supporters
- A key driver for success in this role is the ability to work under extreme pressure during appeals and to very tight deadlines
- Experience of managing complex budgets and proven ability to manage a complex operational plan within very short timeframes and within budget
- Ideally you will have experience of working in the international humanitarian aid sector
PLEASE NOTE: This is a hybrid working role, where there is a compulsory 2-week office attendance during an appeal (meals provided). Therefore, this role is suitable for those living within a commutable distance to DEC's Angel, London office.

You will work with key suppliers and agencies to implement the offline marketing campaign (e.g. press, outdoor, DRTV and direct mail), and the Public Fundraising team to utilise a large database of supporters for communication by email, SMS, and direct mail. You will identify new fundraising channels and ideas for increasing the impact of income generation.

- Implement the direct marketing strategies during each appeal with income maximisation and supporter acquisition as the key focus
- Manage the capturing and analysis of results to ensure channel optimisation between appeals

Legacy Stewardship Manager
Home based, remote working

The Legacy Stewardship Manager will plan and deliver an ambitious new legacy stewardship strategy to bring about growth in future legacy income. It will diversify the current legacy stewardship programme to convert more legacy prospects and maintain more pledgers using a combination of relationship and mass fundraising activities. It will be responsible for planning and delivering high quality communications and experiences which make supporters feel inspired, valued and deepen relationships with them over the long-term.
This role is critical in growing future legacy income for RNID, which currently represents 72% of RNID’s income. It will play a pivotal role in a Legacy Fundraising Team of four people, reporting into the Head of Legacies, working alongside the Legacy Marketing Manager and line managing the Gifts in Wills Specialist Officer.
This role is a new addition to a growing team in an organisation where legacy fundraising has a high profile. It is an ideal next step for an experienced and confident legacy fundraiser wanting to make their mark by growing the legacy stewardship programme to a new ambitious level that matches an increased investment in legacy acquisition.
You’re an experienced and ambitious legacy fundraiser with the ability to think strategically as well as deliver a full and varied programme of operational activity. You will be responsible for:
· Working with the Head of Legacies to diversify and plan the legacy stewardship programme, applying test and learn principles to evaluate and improve performance.
· Operational delivery of a varied legacy stewardship programme including supporter care, supporter journeys, in person and online events.
· Overseeing all one-to-one interactions with legacy prospects and supporters, either directly or through senior colleagues such as RNID’s Chief Executive.
· Educating and training colleagues to confidently support legacy fundraising activities.
· Line managing and developing the Gifts in Wills Relationship Officer.
· Working with the Head of Legacies, contributing to annual operational planning, budget setting, phasing, reforecasting and contingency planning.

Our day centre service is currently open three days per-week offering respite, food and somewhere safe to be for anyone facing street homelessness. It provides advocacy and casework services to those who are vulnerably housed or homeless, supporting them to address their individual crisis and the underlying causes. We also provide a small year round night shelter provision.
APAP works in close partnership with a number of key agencies locally including drug and alcohol teams, street outreach services, local authority housing teams and the wider VCS. We are a gateway service in the community through which our clients can access a range of support.
The Community Fundraising and Partnerships Coordinator will be responsible for developing and nurturing relationships within the local community to support APAP’s fundraising efforts, including schools, local businesses, faith and community groups. A key feature of this role will be developing increased year-round community engagement and fundraising, leading into the planning and delivery of at least one annual fundraising campaign. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to engage directly with stakeholders to build strong partnerships, whilst contributing strategically to the growth of the charity's fundraising efforts.
