PURPOSE
The Fundraising Database Manager will support the Development team by overseeing and managing fundraising data analytics and reporting management, data systems, and related processes, to ensure alignment with the WHO Foundation’s strategic goals and data driven decision making. Our data analytics and reporting framework is at a foundational stage and requires development from the ground up, including the implementation of meaningful reporting and insights—making this role critical to its success.
REPORTS TO
The Fundraising Database Manager will report to the Head of Development Operations at the WHO Foundation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Data Management:
-
Administer and maintain the integrity of the data inputted into WHO Foundation’s CRM (Salesforce) and ensure fundraising data records are accurate and up-to-date.

Work closely with the Operations PMO office and the IT manager, which oversees the overall consistency of the information systems architecture to ensure that Salesforce functionality meet the Foundation’s fundraising needs,
-
Ensure that Salesforce is utilised effectively to fully meet the Foundation’s needs, as well as identifying areas for further process development.
-
Demonstrate the ability to clean, format, and import data into Salesforce, using input obtained from team members across the Foundation in a timely and efficient manner.
-
Liaise with the Operations PMO lead and external consultants and suppliers to support integrations with other fundraising platforms or other services when required.
-
Regularly review and update existing data management processes and procedures.
-
Provide ongoing training and develop training materials for Foundation newcomers and team members on the effective use of Salesforce and other relevant data procedures, ensuring adoption of best practices.

Work closely with the Prospect Research team to implement a successful Prospect Management System within the CRM
-
Manages, troubleshoots, and works to resolve data analysis, reporting and systems issues and complexities as it relates to the Development team or data
-
Facilitate discussions between leadership, fundraisers, WHO leadership and other stakeholders to identify needs and develop data structures and a salesforce environment that will support solutions and more effective fundraising.
Reporting and Insights:

Design and maintain a suite of Salesforce dashboards that provide real-time visibility into fundraising performance, pipeline health, and key KPIs.

Deliver accurate and timely reporting - both regular and ad-hoc - for senior leadership, fundraisers, and operations teams.
-
Develop and refine reporting mechanisms that inform the strategic planning of the EMT, Board, WHO colleagues, Development and Operations team.
-
Create complex queries and supporter data selections to meet the needs of fundraising, stewardship, and communications functions.
-
Implement and manage data hygiene reporting, regularly monitoring database integrity, sharing insights with colleagues, and partnering with them to strengthen data quality across the Foundation.
Gift Processing:
-
Ensure that the rules defined for cultivation processes are applied consistently by all fundraisers and partner with the Finance team to ensure reconciliation with our financial accounts.

Work closely with the Legal function to ensure accurate donor research records and due diligence are properly conducted and recorded.
-
Conduct quality checks to ensure the Foundation maintains accurate electronic records within the CRM of all gifts made to the Foundation, including the storage of important documents such as gift agreements and due diligence reports (liaising with the Legal team), which pertain to the Foundation’s relationship with our supporters and stakeholders.

Work with the Ops teams to manage an effective system for tracking overdue/outstanding pledge instalments and payments for the Foundation to be followed up.
PROFILE
-
Bachelor's degree in any academic field.
-
Minimum of 7+ years of relevant professional experience in a Database Management role within a fundraising organization.
-
Agile and IT-savvy approach with a demonstrable record of success in working with CRMs. Candidates with significant experience in Salesforce preferred.

Experience of relationship building and management with various stakeholders internally and externally.
-
Demonstrated success in building data analytics and reporting frameworks to support fundraising pipelines and reporting.

Strong stakeholder engagement skills; able to translate diverse needs into effective technical solutions.

Experience training colleagues, developing process documentation, and managing projects

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; knowledge of French or other UN languages is an asset.

Detail-oriented, organized, and adaptable, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

The Opportunity

Essential Skills and Experience

PURPOSE
This role sits within the growing development team and will be responsible for managing a US and International portfolio of current and prospective major donors, cultivating relationships with individuals, trusts, and corporations and soliciting major gifts and stewarding donors effectively to encourage their lasting support. The Senior Development Manager will connect these stakeholders to our mission through a combination of face-to-face meetings, events, written proposals, and compelling presentations.

The Senior Development Manager West Coast will report to the Director of Development US for the WHO Foundation.
ACCOUNTABILITIES & FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Fundraising and portfolio management:

Responsible for delivering major gifts from HNWIs, philanthropists, corporates, foundations in support of WHO’s strategic priorities in the US— particularly in major markets such as the Bay Area, Seattle, and Southern California.

Manage a portfolio of 60-80 prospective donors (250K to 5 million USD capacity) and develop them across all stages of cultivation.
-
In partnership with the Regional Director US, design and implement a comprehensive development strategy for the West Coast, aligned with the Foundation’s development goals.
-
Meet a yearly set of agreed fundraising KPIs (including money raised, asks made, meetings secured and gift close rate).
-
Efficiently use the CRM to record and report on activity: feeding into campaign data, team reporting and management information for the senior leadership team.
Relationship management:
-
Develop and implement effective cultivation/ solicitation strategies with potential donors to motivate significant gifts to match fundraising priorities.
-
Initiate and grow a personal network of senior key influencers who are able to advise and make introductions to strengthen and grow our major donor base.

Build mutually beneficial relationships with WHOF and WHO colleagues, particularly in relation to fundraising projects, and align programmes of activity where appropriate.

Create shared opportunities that support and advance the Foundation's fundraising priorities.

Translate complex ideas into compelling messages tailored to supporters.

Contribute to the concept, planning and delivery of events and other opportunities to engage with WHOF’s community of supporters.

Work with leadership and fundraisers from across the Foundation to identify potential funding priorities that may be of particular interest to North American prospects.
Collaboration:

Work in partnership with the Finance team, Legal, Comms and wider WHOF teams to ensure gifts are processed in line with donor wishes and financial regulations

Job requirements
PROFILE

Significant experience of managing principal gift portfolios and closing 6- and 7-figure gifts
-
Experience developing and implementing innovative high network individual events.

Experience working in a target-orientated environment and operating at the most senior level.

Demonstrable experience of designing and executing successful fundraising strategies
-
Excellent knowledge of best practice in philanthropic fundraising applied successfully in international development, higher education, health, or nonprofit sectors
-
Strong experience in health partnership with health emergencies and corporate partners is also welcome
-
Thorough knowledge of IT systems, database management and Salesforce.

Experience working in an international organization and/or in international development within a complex stakeholder environment
-
Knowledge of West Coast philanthropic networks and organizations particularly the Bay Area, Los Angeles, and/or Seattle is strongly preferred.

Self motivated, target driven and aptitude to work with flexibility and autonomy both individually and as part of a multi-stakeholder team

Job overview
The role will focus on growing the value of funding from large trusts and foundations globally, as well as from corporate foundations and institutional funders via consortium partnerships with larger conservation actors.
The role will oversee grant and contract management with existing organisational and institutional partnerships, as well as grow this portfolio through developing a robust pipeline of new opportunities, finding creative ways to secure visibility and first meetings, developing relationships, compelling funding applications and ensuring strong contract management oversight.
The role will lead a team of two, work collaboratively with fundraising colleagues based in the US and UK to secure visibility with and develop strong long-term partnerships with new Trusts and Foundations; and work closely with colleagues in Kenya to ensure strong project delivery and grant management. Responsibilities include:
- Lead the implementation of the Trusts & Foundations (T&Fs) programme with a particular focus on growing the portfolio of large T&Fs in the USA, UK and European markets;
- Work with fundraising colleagues across priority markets and with communications colleagues, using innovative and proactive approaches to business development and relationship building to unlock visibility opportunities and develop relationships with new prospects; in order to develop and maintain a strong pipeline of high-value funding opportunities.
- Continue to oversee the current ‘programme funding’ portfolio which includes existing institutional funding partnerships and corporate foundation relationships in Kenya, ensuring that ongoing and new opportunities where they exist are capitalised on.
- Collaborate closely with and provide technical expertise to Ol Pejeta’s Project Implementation function in Kenya to develop and embed ‘programme funding’ systems, policies, processes, to ensure that the organisation works to the highest standards in grant management;
- Oversee collaboration and co-working with Ol Pejeta’s Programme teams and other colleagues to ensure high quality project design content is translated into technical proposals and budgets for donors;
- Work closely with Kenya’s implementation function to support strong project delivery and contract management.
- As a Head of, actively contribute to team and department objectives through decision making and action on planning, budgeting, monitoring and reporting.
Key Activities
- Support the Chief Fundraising Officer with overall strategy development, implementation and adaptation;
- Work closely with the Chief Fundraising Officer to ensure operational and budget planning, management and reporting of resources;
- Oversee the T&F team’s operational planning processes, annual reporting and core performance monitoring;
- Strategic coordination of multiple stakeholders in proposal development processes (programme experts, internal stakeholders, partners and donors);
- Build strong relationships across all departments of the organisation and with existing and new partners;
- Support the recruitment process/selection/appointment of fundraising staff across the department.
Strategic leadership delivery and management of Trusts and Foundations priority in the global fundraising strategy.
- Develop and implement tactics for T&Fs that support Ol Pejeta to meet its overall strategic objectives;
- Ensure that the relevant parts of the Fundraising strategy, planning and practice is adaptive to both internal and external changes and that the team adopts innovative approaches to its work;
- Effectively integrate T&F team objectives and outcomes into wider Ol Pejeta income targets and programme priorities.
Business development and management
- Proactively cultivate relationships with key prospects, donors and partners (with particular focus on US, UK and European markets);
- Network both internally and externally to ensure relevant stakeholder participation and intelligence gathering in various fora;
- Lead and coordinate proposal development, including budgeting, with programme teams and finance;
- Collaborate with Ol Pejeta’s communications and marketing department to ensure communication activities appeal to donor interests, promote our partnerships and help to position Ol Pejeta as a partner of choice;
- Research and share trends and intelligence on T&Fs, and develop relationships that strategically position the organisation to mobilise resources from new and existing donors.
Support effective grant & risk management and compliance
- Support the development and implementation of improved business policies to facilitate improved management of and accountability for T&F funding and other larger institutional partnerships;

We are recruiting for a Senior Philanthropy Manager to join on a full-time basis, working 35 hours per week on a fixed-term contract for 12 months.
As Senior Philanthropy Manager you will lead on the management and delivery of our highly successful Insurance United Against Dementia (IUAD) campaign. You will work closely with an exceptional board of senior volunteers from the insurance industry to deliver the campaign strategy. You will lead on securing income from personal philanthropy and Trusts from within the industry, working closely with Board members on peer-to-peer advocacy.
In addition, the role has oversight and input to all IUAD campaign activities - including communications, events and corporate partnerships. You will lead on relationships with key IUAD board members to maximise fundraising opportunities and maintain their motivation and engagement in the campaign. This role will give you the chance to deliver meaningful impact on the lives of people affected by dementia.
This is a home-based role with occasional travel to London to attend meetings with colleagues or stakeholders, with travel costs paid for by the Society. About you

SUMMARY OF ROLE
This is a pivotal new role within RABI’s Marketing & Communications team, managing the planning and delivery of RABI’s presence at high-profile agricultural, corporate and external affairs events throughout the year, whilst overseeing the management and deployment of volunteers and ambassadors at shows and local engagement activities across England and Wales. The Events & Engagement Manager will ensure that all activities reflect RABI’s values and strategic goals and that our network of volunteers and ambassadors are expertly managed and supported.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic Leadership of Events and Ambassador Programme
- Lead the development and implementation of a national events strategy that reflects RABI’s priorities and enhances the charity’s presence across rural and farming communities.

- A minimum 5 years’ experience working in a successful Events team at a managerial level.

Sebby’s Corner serves families in crisis, many of whom are experiencing homelessness, fleeing domestic abuse, seeking asylum, or living in poverty. Referrals are made by frontline professionals including social workers, midwives, health visitors, and family support workers so we can ensure we are reaching the most vulnerable.
We believe by meeting immediate material needs, we can help stabilise families, reduce stress, and improve the wellbeing of both parents and children. We believe it is impossible to break free from debt, apply for work, or rebuild your life when you don’t know where your baby’s next nappy is coming from and that’s where our support begins.
About the Role
We are looking for a confident and strategic fundraiser with proven experience in major donor and corporate fundraising. You will lead our income generation, helping us to raise over £400,000 every year, with a focus on building high-value, long-term partnerships with individuals and companies. You will also oversee community fundraising, events and supporter engagement, ensuring every donor feels valued and connected to our mission.

Key Responsibilities
MAJOR DONORS

Take the lead in cultivating, stewarding, and retaining high-value individual donors, ensuring they feel personally connected to Sebby’s Corner and the impact of their support.

Grow and manage our Patronage Programme, developing tailored stewardship plans and recognition opportunities for different giving levels.

Work closely with the CEO and trustees to leverage their networks and open doors to new prospects, building a strong pipeline of high-value supporters.

Host and attend events, briefings, and meetings with donors to deepen relationships and encourage long-term commitment.
CORPORATE PARTNERSHIPS

Develop and deliver a proactive strategy to secure Charity of the Year partnerships, sponsorships, corporate volunteering, in-kind donations, and payroll giving schemes.

Build and nurture long-term relationships with local and national businesses, ensuring they are engaged with Sebby’s Corner’s mission and receive excellent stewardship.

Create engaging fundraising opportunities for companies, such as hub-based volunteering, team packathons, and staff fundraising challenges.

Work with the Head of Operations and service teams to align corporate partnerships with organisational needs, ensuring mutual benefit and maximum impact.
INDIVIDUAL GIVING & CAMPAIGNS

Work alongside the CEO to lead Sebby’s Corner’s annual Charity Extra appeal, including developing campaign messaging, recruiting and motivating Champions, and ensuring the appeal delivers maximum income and visibility.

Lead on Sebby’s Corner’s own fundraising events, working with staff, volunteers, and suppliers to deliver high-quality and financially successful events.

Lead the growth of regular giving and one-off donations, ensuring donors receive timely, personalised stewardship.

Design and deliver seasonal appeals (e.g. School Uniform, Christmas, Father’s Day), setting clear targets and analysing results to inform future campaigns.

Oversee the development of compelling supporter communications, including newsletters, impact stories, and social media content, to inspire donors and demonstrate transparency.
LEADERSHIP & STRATEGY

Develop and implement a clear fundraising strategy to diversify income streams and grow sustainable, high-value support.

Line-manage the Volunteer & Community Lead, providing guidance and support across their portfolio, which includes coordinating hub volunteers, managing challenge events (e.g. London Marathon), and supporting community groups and fundraisers.

Contribute actively to the leadership of Sebby’s Corner, working collaboratively with the CEO and Head of Operations to shape strategy and ensure fundraising is integrated across the organisation.

Use Salesforce to manage supporter data, monitor campaign performance, and produce accurate, timely reports for the CEO and trustees.

What We Offer
Salary & Pension
The salary range for this role is £42,000 - £48,000 FTE per annum (gross), dependent on experience and pro-rated if you work part-time. If eligible to join the pension scheme, we will match your contributions by 5%.
Annual Leave
You will be entitled to 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays (pro-rated for part-time roles). We usually close between Christmas and New Year without this time coming off your annual leave allowance.
