We are looking for someone to work with a clear strategy and then develop, grow and successfully manage our Youth Advisory (YAG) and Alumni groups, as well as lead the engagement of families / support networks. The ideal candidate is someone who will ensure interns accessing the DFN Project SEARCH model are at the heart of decision making and who will champion their rights and their participation. We are looking for someone who has a strong understanding of advocacy and the rights and entitlements of young adults with special educational needs and disabilities.
We are in our third year of running our YAG and yet to launch our Alumni offer. This role will therefore involve leading the implementation, development, and growth of the membership of both DFN Project SEARCH YAG and Alumni group. This will include planning and facilitating a programme of activities throughout the year for YAG and Alumni members, which we hope will be a mix of in person and online events.
This post holder will also provide ongoing training to YAG, Alumni and parent/carer members and facilitate their participation in our advocacy work. There will also be opportunities to deliver training to our central and partner teams alongside members of these groups

The Head of Communications and Campaigns will play a pivotal and strategic role in delivering creative and effective campaigns and comms that align with our wider influencing work, maximising opportunities to influence change as we approach a General Election, and beyond.
Bloody Good Period’s brand and communications have had huge traction and influence in the last few years. The Head of Communications and Campaigns will be working across the organisation, and crucially alongside our Experts by Experience forum, strengthening our communication strategy whilst developing and implementing an ambitious campaign strategy to engage and mobilise both existing and new supporters.

Pratham is one of the largest and most respected education charities in India. We developed a model that can teach a child to read and do basic maths in as little as 30 days for £14. We also have preschool, vocational and women's education programmes.
We have strong support from the UK Indian diaspora and are in a period of significant growth that has seen us triple in size in three years; we now raise £1.5m a year and have an ambition to at least triple again. Our flagship fundraising event is our annual Gala; we will return to Raffles at the Old War Office this year on 8th November. The gala sponsorship pack is included with the job pack below. The evening consistently raises over £500k; this year, you will support the delivery of the Gala, but next year, you will lead it along with a calendar of cultivation and stewardship events that will help us grow partnerships with major donors, corporates and foundations.
While you will work in a small, fully remote team day to day, you will be part of the global Pratham network. The team in India has over 6,000 staff, and they raise $28m locally. Pratham USA has 14 chapters and produces around 12 galas a year, which contributes to its $30m income; you can share the films and branding of their galas, meaning we can really stretch our budget to put on an outstanding event.
We are a small team, and whilst an events person is vital for our development if someone wanted to get involved in other fundraising streams, particularly corporate or major donors, we would be delighted to read about it in your application and discuss it at the interview or in a call before the interview—which are welcomed.
All current staff have visited India to see the programmes, and whilst we can't guarantee you a visit as we grow, it remains an ambition. We can offer a level of flexibility on hours, we'd consider someone four days a week, but flexibility and some extra (paid) days might be required around the gala time. Our Executive Director stops for 30 minutes at 3 to pick up his children from school, work patterns that suit you can be considered.

What's the role about?
You will be responsible for the team that enables delivery of the RSPB's strategy and the key aims of conservation impact, nature positive business change and additional income to the society. In particular you will:
- Lead a team of business conservation advisors, who are based across the UK
- Develop the skills and capabilities of the team towards high performance and positive culture
- Be responsible for the quality of RSPB inputs into business conservation partnerships and aligning with RSPB outcomes
- Work across RSPB teams to bring to fruition new and expanded partnerships that are fitted to RSPB’s strategy
- Be responsible for effective stakeholder management that facilitates collaborative external and internal relationships
- Lead the communications, impact reporting and promotion of the team’s work, to raise its profile with key audiences
- Direct the team’s activities and translate RSPB corporate strategy outcomes into work plans, meeting ambition and managing risks
- Work with colleagues in Policy and Advocacy to enhance the evidence base and business case for a nature positive economy
- Oversee the budget so that financial targets for income and expenditure are met

The role will manage the Donor Acquisition Fundraiser and In-Memory Fundraiser and be responsible for the overall delivery of our individual giving strategy.
As the Individual Giving Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the planning and implementation of our individual giving programme of fundraising and activities, aimed at individuals. It will be the Individual Giving Manager’s responsibility to generate significant income through individual gifts, campaigns and appeals, regular giving, in memoriam giving, lottery and legacies, and to increase activity and income from these sources.
Your primary focus will be on recruiting new donors, retention through a gold standard supporter journey and income growth for these vital areas of fundraising, all while leading a dedicated team. You will be responsible for delivering innovative and creative appeals as well as supporting the fundraisers responsible for in-memory and donor acquisition to achieve their targets and objectives.
Individual Giving is a growing income stream for Birmingham Hospice, and this have been recognised by the Executive Team who are investing in this area, in particular regular giving and legacies.

The Role
You will be instrumental in securing the funding, which the organisation needs to continue to deliver and develop its services, across a wide range of functions and projects.
