Through the partnership of Macmillan Cancer Support, Self Help UK and the Nottinghamshire Integrated Care System, the Macmillan Beyond Dagnosis service delivers support for people affected by cancer, as well as facilitated access to voluntary and community sector cancer specific support and wellbeing interventions across Nottingham and Nottinghamshire. Support and interventions will be identified using electronic health needs assessments (eHNA’s) and personalised care and support planning. This will provide a structured and clear ongoing support plan for those living with and beyond cancer which are integrated with primary, secondary and community clinical care pathways.

The aim of the service is to provide an improved experience for patients beyond their interactions with clinical services by contributing to the overall holistic approach to supporting people living with and beyond cancer. This will integrate the ‘beyond medicine’ approaches offered by the Voluntary and Community Sector (VCS) into existing and developing cancer pathways.

The Macmillan Beyond Diagnosis Service also includes the NUH Cancer Prehabilitation service, where we provide the Beyond Diagnosis model through the Social Prescriber Link Worker role.

Learning and Development Coordinator

Provide technical support and quality assurance to RedR UK Programmes Team, ensuring high-quality, relevant, appropriate, and high impact services to RedR UK beneficiaries and donors.

This position works closely with the members of the Learning and Development Team, as well as working in a support role with members of the Programmes Team to deliver quality learning and development programming. The Learning and Development Coordinator also works in partnership with external partners, including members of RedR’s Associate Trainer network, as well as other RedR organisations, partners and clients.

ABOUT THIS ROLE 

The Learning and Development Coordinator is an essential role within the Learning and Development Team and the Programmes Team more generally. The staff will closely work and coordinate with other members of the L&D Team as well as Programme Managers, Coordinators and Officers, Associate Trainers and Consultants, etc. The L&D Coordinator designs and adapts RedR UK training materials as well as providing technical L&D support and quality assurance to the broader Programmes Team. In particular, this role will focus on building and strengthening RedR UK’s self-paced eLearning offerings. 

JOB DESCRIPTION

Main Duties, Responsibilities and Accountabilities 

Ensure that the quality of our L&D services and material is maintained, improved and expanded: 

• Contribute to guiding, standardising and quality assuring the conversion of learning/training material, content and courses or course modules to e-learning 
• Contribute to updating, maintaining and expanding RedR UK L&D and training material and resources, store & categorise them, and make them accessible
• Contribute to the update and maintenance of RedR UK’s e-learning and open-source learning platforms
• Provide quality assurance of project outputs or deliverables and assist in drafting high quality reports
• Contribute to the development or updating of RedR UK’s L&D and eLearning strategies 

Support the delivery of RedR UK's demand-led services to a consistently high standard: 

• Provide an end-to-end service - designing, supporting, quality assuring and evaluating the delivery of learning interventions, including developing new training and capacity development services (F2F, online facilitated and eLearning), particularly in connection with RedR UK’s self-paced eLearning offerings 
• Coordinate with the L&D team on planning and scheduling of L&D activities and liaise with colleagues across RedR UK to ensure uniform high quality of services 
• Where appropriate, design and/or deliver learning/training services directly to the participants 
• Where appropriate and agreed by line manager, lead the execution of selected projects, especially L&D projects 
• Assist in ensuring that necessary monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning (MEAL) data is gathered and analysed on all activities 

Support Network of Associate Trainers (ATs) and L&D Consultants to effectively deliver RedR UK's services: 

• Support the capacity building of ATs in L&D and technical Quality Assurance related matters, including introduction to RedR UK training methodologies, innovative training techniques, new training tools, etc. 
• Contribute to the recruitment, assessment and onboarding of prospective new Associate Trainers (ATs) into the trainer pool and/or on specific projects as required 
• Coordinate the work, performance, and planning of Associate Trainers when working under the L&D Unit. Quality-assure their work when working under Programmes Hubs 

Ensure that RedR UK services meet the needs of the sector and work to expand our reach: 

• Keep up to date with developments in learning with a focus on eLearning technologies and platforms, as well as other training methodologies and issues in the humanitarian sector and advise RedR UK programme teams accordingly 
• Contribute to identifying and exploring possibilities for expanding the range of services offered by the organisation and source funding for their implementation 
• Support business development efforts and proposal preparation by ensuring that the L&D component of the methodology is appropriate, services offered are in line with requirements, likely to achieve high impact and adding overall value to the programme 
• Represent RedR UK at selected external events and forums, as appropriate 
• Be the Key Account Manager (KAM) for selected Key Accounts (clients and partners) in line with RedR UK’s KAM System

PERSON SPECIFICATIONS 

Essential 

• Experience in design of self-paced and blended eLearning programmes, including experience with Articulate Rise, Articulate Storyline, Vyond and other animation/design platforms including a strong understanding of accessibility requirements 
• Experience managing Learning Management Systems, especially Moodle 
• Experience and understanding of learning and development approaches, adult learning (andragogy) and participatory learning methodologies, including designing and conducting LNAs, designing, delivering and evaluating face-to-face and online facilitated events and revising/adapting training material
• Experience assessing learning, familiarity with the Kirkpatrick Model, and experience tracking, evaluating and reporting on learning data 
• Excellent people skills and experience in the coordination of consultants, including effective cross-cultural communication and strong inter-personal skills 
• Ability to influence, build and maintain networks and relationships, both externally and internally to achieve good results, representing RedR UK at a senior level to a high standard 
• Good workload management skills and ability to use initiative to solve problems 
• Willingness to undertake travel internationally to often insecure and difficult environments for periods of up to two weeks

Our client Peter Bedford Housing Association is a housing association with charitable aims that create positive change in people’s lives. As well as homes and support, PBHA empowers people to learn, access work and discover their creative talents. Based in Hackney, Islington and Newham, we work with people who are homeless, have mental ill health, learning difficulties and multiple needs. The role:

This part time (0.6FTE) post is located within the core services Team, and reports to the CEO. The postholder works closely across the organisation to deliver an efficient Office management, Reception and basic HR service to all managers and staff.

Aims of the post

• To manage the office, coordinating volunteers to provide reception and administrative services. 

• To coordinate and procure office and IT equipment.

• To carry out HR administration tasks acting as a first point of contact for managers and staff.

Specific Responsibilities

Office management

• Dealing with customer & external queries and disputes dealing with in bound and out bound communication, such as hybrid mail, post, phone calls and customer satisfaction surveys. 

• Organise Reception rota and cover, enabling opening hours to be fully resourced. 

• Dealing with petty cash.

• Managing phone and IT systems, contributing to new projects and upgrades.

• Ordering and facilitating meeting refreshments. 

• Promote and manage booking of rooms. 

• Manage all hardware e.g. laptops, phones etc and ordering office consumables.

• Managing small budgets and checking expenditure.

• Ensuring all new staff are set up with correct equipment and IT access e.g. laptops, phones, keys etc with good records kept.

Volunteer and Placement development

• Day to day supervision of customer services volunteers and placements.

• Recruit and plan for volunteers and placements, including contributing to individual learning plans and reviewing progress. 

HR administration

• Investment in staff - To be an impartial point of contact for employees and volunteers seeking HR advice if their line manager is not able to assist, signposting them as appropriate to other sources of advice and assistance. 

• Employment contracts and Consulting employees - To provide administrative support when consulting on Terms and Conditions, investigating Disciplinary and Grievances and any other related matters. To support the CEO to coordinate working groups across employees and volunteers. To administer staff surveys. 

• DBS checks - To undertake renewal DBS checks for all employees and volunteers and make recommendations as necessary to managers. 

• Managing information - To ensure good quality and accurate HR information management for all employees and volunteers with due regard to confidentiality and document control. To maintain electronic files and enable colleagues to make the best use of the HR database, Breathe HR. To facilitate references for former employees in partnership with managers and the CEO. 

• Payroll - To collate information, draft and seek authorisation of payroll changes in partnership with the CEO and Director of Finance. To support the annual pay review. 

• Recruitment - To coordinate recruitment processes in partnership with the recruiting manager. This includes liaising with the recruitment agency. 

• Learning and Development - To coordinate training suppliers and place bookings for courses in consultation with the CEO. To contribute to coordinating the annual Staff and Volunteer conference. 

Customer focused services

• Promote and support tenants/participants to access PBHA’s participation and co-production opportunities.

• Be supportive of PBHA’s ethos of maximising tenant/participant influence over the development of the organisation.

• To positively promote and signpost tenants and participants to report complaints in line with PBHA’s practice. To have a collaborative and co-operative approach towards resolving complaints, working with colleagues across teams and departments. To take collective responsibility for any shortfalls identified through complaints.

General Responsibilities

• Participate in key meetings.

• Contribute to policy development, income generation, strategic and annual planning, corporate and cross-team activities, external partnerships and promotional activities as required.

Main Conditions of Service

This is a part time position. The post is for 22.5 hours per week. It is expected that the hours will be delivered on 3 full days (to be agreed) each week but alternative arrangements, ie 4.5 hours per day for 5 days, may be acceptable. Duties will occasionally be carried out over evenings and some public holidays. Overtime is not paid but in line with Agile working, hours can be averaged out over a 2-week period.

Annual leave entitlement is 26 days per year plus normal bank holidays pro rata. This will rise after each completed year of service to a maximum of 30 days – pro rata.  

Salaries and expenses are based on PBHA’s salary scales and are revised each year. The salary for this post will be in the range of £35,692 pro rata per annum and the starting salary is £35,692 (£21,415 for 22.5 hours per week).

The post holder will be auto enrolled to be a member of the organisation's contributory pension scheme if eligible.

In common with all posts at PBHA, confirmation of appointment is subject to a probationary period (6 months). The notice period for this role is four weeks.

Job Purpose:

WomenMATTA delivers support services to women in Manchester and Trafford who are in contact with, or at risk of being in contact with, the criminal justice system. This includes one to one advice, advocacy, practical and emotional support, and group interventions.

This position will provide strategic oversight and operational management to all WomenMATTA services delivered through hubs across multiple sites in Manchester and Trafford, ensuring quality standards are consistently met, staff are effectively managed, partnerships are established and maintained, and budgets are appropriately managed.

1. Lead on the operational management and strategic oversight of WomenMATTA; ensuring high quality, trauma informed, and gender responsive services are delivered to vulnerable and marginalized women in contact with, or at risk of being in contact with, the criminal justice system.

Purpose of the Role

The Digital Marketing Manager will implement and help develop a new digital marketing strategy, crucial to the ongoing development of ArtsEd’s profile and reputation and the successful delivery of all our programmes.

Understanding the needs of current and prospective students and pupils and their parents, and being able to identify digital plans and initiatives which will enable ArtsEd to meet both the long and short-term needs is a central aspect of the role.

The Digital Marketing Manager will lead in the planning and implementation of digitally creative and customer focused campaigns and will be responsible for the achievement of student and pupil recruitment targets. They will work closely with senior staff and the rest of the Marketing team to deliver highly effective experiences to all stakeholders and potential stakeholders.

The Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for the continuing development of ArtsEd’s online profile amongst all of our target audiences, including high-level industry connections, potential supporters and the local community, alongside potential students, pupils and parents.

In addition, the Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for ensuring that ArtsEd’s messaging is consistent, innovative and compelling across all platforms.

• Use digital marketing expertise to create effective user funnels to optimise conversion rates, tracking user behaviour in order to refine processes.

Design & Brand

• Be a guardian of the ArtsEd brand, ensuring correct and effective use of our branding and house style both internally and externally.

• Develop and manage image library including liaising with relevant staff to select images, co-ordinating in-house photography and film requirements, up-dating plasma screen and fulfilling external requests for images.

Graphic Design

• Create print and digital advertising material using Canva or similar software.
• Design and create in-house digital signage and support the Marketing Officer where needed.
• Support the print production process, liaising with printers and publications, proof reading and adapting print collateral as required.

Recruitment

• Lead on the implementation and delivery of a robust digital marketing strategy to optimise student and pupil recruitment across the whole organisation. This will include:
• Building on existing digital activity to maximise its reach and impact against all of our target audiences, including digital and associated print advertising.
• Managing an associated  programme of recruitment focused events and activities, both virtual and face-to-face, to raise our profile and to maximise our enquires, registrations, applications and acceptances across all of our activities.
• Supporting the relevant teams in the delivery of this programme, which will include existing activity e.g. Day School and Sixth Form Open Days, degree audition days and our outreach programme.
• To programme our email marketing conversion communication using software Mailer Lite/MailChimp
• Overseeing the production of all marketing collateral.

Social Media

• Overseeing the planning and delivery of a social media plan that aligns with and enhances all strands of the marketing and communications strategy
• Create engaging and content drive social media assets.
• Oversee and a schedule the delivery of day-to-day social media content
• Work with the marketing officer to Launch as short form video content strategy for all platforms with aligns with the Marketing and organisations strategy.

• Manage through line managed staff all aspects of the ArtsEd website, ensuring that it remains relevant to all users at all times. This will include:-

Market Analysis/Planning

Women in Prison is a national, women-led, feminist organisation. We deliver front line support to women harmed by the criminal justice system, through our work in prisons, in the community and ‘through the prison gate’ as they resettle back into their communities. Job Purpose:

To provide strategic oversight and operational management for Women in Prison services in Surrey. The role will focus on delivering Surrey Women’s CRS probation contract, which involves providing holistic one to one support and advocacy to women serving community orders, and will also focus on development of the Surrey programme.

1. Lead on the operational management and strategic oversight of the Surrey programme, ensuring high quality, trauma responsive services are delivered to women in contact with, or at risk of being in contact with, the criminal justice system.

The Director of Finance Business Partnering (Operations) is a critical role within the Financial Strategy, Planning & Performance division that will lead, develop and deliver high quality finance business partnering and decision support to all the central services of the university, including providing financial planning, reporting and insight across revenue and capital funded activity. 

You will support the senior Director of the Financial Strategy, Planning & Performance function in development and improvement projects. Examples include the development of a professional competencies framework to support career progression and performance at all levels, supported by learning and development opportunities, improving key processes, resource allocation and financial planning methodologies, and reporting on financial performance.

As part of the function’s senior management team, this role will lead a team of finance business partners who will provide outstanding partnering services to our central services including large functions such as Estates and Facilities, IT, Students & Education, Research Management and on other crucial ‘head office’ activities. Working closely with the corporate reporting team on the provision of management accounts, you will lead on financial performance support in-year and across our three-year financial planning framework. The Foundation/Domestic Abuse Prevention Practitioner (FDAP) will play a key role in working directly with individuals using harmful/abusive behaviour within their intimate relationships. The role will include suitability and risk assessments, delivery of interventions, facilitation of group programmes, risk identification, information sharing and preparation of reports for courts and other agencies.

The FDAP Practitioner will be co-located into Priority Crime Teams situated in Newport Police Station to assist with the identification, screening, and engagement of individuals using harmful behaviour in their relationships, working closely with police to provide a timely and streamlined process for earlier identification, referral, and engagement/disruption of high harm perpetrators of domestic abuse.

For this role is it essential you have excellent understanding of domestic abuse, including the impact on victims and their children. Experience of working with individuals experiencing domestic abuse/ and or causing harm. Experience of group work delivery is desirable; however, we will consider applications from candidates who demonstrate an aptitude for the role.

You will need to be able to build and maintain effective working relationships with statutory and voluntary agencies to deliver the best possible outcomes within a multi-agency setting. As well as being tenacious in support of your clients and adept at problem solving.

IT literacy is a must and candidates must evidence both the ability to use bespoke packages and excellence in their recording practice.
