The Role

We have a rare and exciting opportunity for an experienced marketing and communications leader to join the Devon Air Ambulance team and help us tell our story.

Supported by a team of six, and working across the charity, the role will design and deliver marketing and communications strategies to support our mission, vision and strategic aims.

From developing our digital marketing across social media and a new website, to implementing a new visual identity, to underpinning our fundraising activities with creative and compelling communications, the breadth of this role provides a unique opportunity for someone to make a significant contribution to our ongoing success.

The Candidate

We’re looking for an outstanding marketing and communications leader who is strategically minded and delivery focused. They will be able to lead and develop an existing team and be adept at building and maintaining productive working relationships. They will seek out new opportunities to add value to existing activity and develop new ventures in collaboration with colleagues from a diverse range of different disciplines across the organisation. The ideal candidate will bring experience from a charity background and be used to supporting a broad portfolio of income generating activities. They will also be as comfortable leading communications internally as they are externally.

The Package 

Salary: £52,915.20 per annum.

About the role

The Senior Event Manager is a pivotal new position within the Advancement team. You will play a leading role in planning, executing, and overseeing events and experiences which will not only build momentum towards and launch UCL's next fundraising campaign in 2026, but will also maintain stakeholder engagement with the campaign during its duration.

Globally, you will build and deliver a programme of insider and teaser experiences, launch events, tours, reunions, and gatherings around campaign themes. This will involve travel to regions where UCL builds important philanthropic relationships, including countries in East Asia, North America, Europe, and the Middle East, approximately 2-4 times per year.

The job

• We’re looking for an experienced and highly motivated fundraiser to join Chetham’s as Senior Development Manager to manage the development team in securing over £600k of income per annum across Chetham’s School of Music, Library and The Stoller Hall. This is a great progression opportunity for someone currently working in fundraising.
• Supported by the Joint Principals, Head of Communications, the Creative Commercial Director and the Board: The Senior Development Manager will drive forward fundraising at Chetham’s and ensure that storytelling is used creatively to promote our vision – to make music and education more accessible, to enrich the lives of people in Manchester and beyond, and to improve wellbeing through the magic of music and learning. The role is ideally suited to somebody looking to grow into a senior fundraising role, and you will be supported by colleagues and mentorship from board members.

Working alongside our communications department, the development team manage a variety of income streams including a successful trust and foundation portfolio, donations, growing major donor and patron programme. There is opportunity to grow income from regular giving, legacies and corporate.
• The ideal candidate will have 5+ years fundraising experience, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and confidence working with a range of different stakeholders. Experience working in a similar arts organisation with a track record of securing five-figure gifts and a knowledge of database systems is highly desirable.

The RSCM is on a mission to enable the flourishing of church music, and in particular to get children singing.

Working across the whole charity, you will work to sell existing products, courses and events, as well as membership subscriptions. With a passion for the power of singing and music, you will persuade musicians, teachers and members of church communities of the value of RSCM’s offerings. You will build and leverage a network of advocates to help spread the word, accelerating take-up and growing the RSCM’s reach in churches and schools.

The post holder will be expected to work to actively drive sales of RSCM products such as ‘Hymnpact!’ (a singing resource aimed at encouraging singing in primary schools), sales of events such as singing courses, and membership subscriptions; and in some instances voluntary giving. Some of the work will be in support of RSCM Enterprises, RSCM’s wholly owned trading subsidiary.

The sales plan will be delivered with some assistance of external contractors (e.g. social media), and with input from individuals across the organisation.

The post holder is responsible for selling to individuals, corporate customers (such as school federations) and organisations (e.g. choral societies) including through appropriate organisational networks. The Role:

Fundraising at Julian House is stepping into its next phase of growth, and we are looking for a strategic and innovative Senior Fundraising Manager to lead the team to new heights.

Fundraising generates vital income for the charity, helping us to provide life-changing and life-saving support for vulnerable people across the South West. • Significant knowledge and experience of a wide range of fundraising; with a demonstrable track record of growing income in at least two of our fundraising growth areas: legacies, major donors, corporate partnerships or regular givers.
• Experience of leading and implementing strategies, including setting and overseeing strategic projects led by others.
• Experience of using CRM systems to their full potential, interpreting donor data, analysing findings and making decisions based on your analysis. Knowledge and experience of the Donorfy platform is desirable, but not essential. 
• Knowledge of the homelessness or social inclusion sectors would be desirable, but not essential.

The Centre for Ageing Better launched the first ever campaign focusing on ageism in January 2024.

Ageism is the most widespread form of discrimination in the UK. And it will impact us all at some point, particularly as we get older. Ageism affects how society sees older people: they’re often reduced to offensive stereotypes, patronised, or treated as a burden. And it even affects how we see ourselves. As the years progress, we start to believe what we read, see and hear, and come to think that we’re ‘past it’.

The Head of Ageism Campaign plays a key role in a small team responsible for planning and delivering a nationwide public-facing campaign to bring an end to ageism in England. The public-facing campaign is one strand of a wider ‘age-friendly’ social movement aimed to make people think, feel and act differently about ageing, which will work on a number of levels and with a range of different audiences.

Under the direction of the Director of Communications & Policy and with an expert external consultant, this role is responsible for planning, delivering, measuring and iterating campaign activities that lead to measurable changes in attitudes and behaviour amongst the public.

The campaign will position Ageing Better as a thought leader and expert on ageism in England and mobilise the public and stakeholders around key activity and campaign moments, working at a national, regional and local level.

The postholder will jointly manage a creative agency to deliver phase two of our mass marketing campaign, ‘always on’ activity, and a moment of collective action once a year for warm audiences and ambassadors for the campaign.

You are a passionate and committed campaigner, determined to create societal change.

You will have excellent experience in campaigning techniques and communications, with first-class writing skills. You will understand how to influence the public and move people along a behaviour/attitude change journey.

You will be comfortable working across the full marcomms mix and using different channels and platforms to reach audiences.

Role Summary:

As the In2careers Manager, you will be responsible for developing and delivering the alumni offer which is the In2careers platform. This currently includes a mentoring scheme, monthly newsletter, online workshops, Alumni Conference, job boards and more.

You will be responsible for developing any new activities and initiatives for this platform that build on our aim of getting young people from low socio-economic backgrounds into employment. 

Duties and Responsibilities

As the In2careers Manager you will be someone who enjoys working with young people and has an understanding of the barriers facing young people from low socio-economic backgrounds to access higher education and STEM careers.

This role sits within the Development team but has strong links across the organisation.  This role has elements of fundraising mixed with programme delivery and will suit someone who can get excited about programme development and delivery as well as building lasting partnerships with key funders.
 

Your specific areas of responsibility will include but are not limited to:

• Evaluating current activities and developing new ideas and initiatives for the programme

• Securing partners that support the mission of this programme

• Generating income for the programme

• Developing and delivering the ongoing Alumni mentoring programme

• Online and in person event development, management and delivery, including careers fair and networking events

• Generating relevant content for the platform

• Maintaining up to date records through the programme’s database, supporting

• Managing the evaluation of the programmes in collaboration with the Operations team

• Communicating Alumni activities to the wider team

As Viva’s Head of Impact, you will work closely with the Network Partnerships Team Leadership to lead the development of a new approach to Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning, with the primary purpose of supporting partner networks to know their impact and share learning with each other. You will enable partner networks and Viva to build, measure and learn together, evaluating the effectiveness of programmes and methodologies, adapting them to ensure desired impact is reached and sharing learning with each other and with other development partners.

You will also work to ensure all programmes funded by Viva are accountable, well-monitored and contribute to our learning environment with clear opportunities to learn and adapt throughout the programme delivery and reporting processes.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

• Shared leadership: You will contribute to strategic decision making as part of the Network Partnerships Leadership Team and be part of shaping the vision and practice of Viva as an organisation from a Christian faith perspective.
• Viva MEAL framework: You will develop and manage a robust MEAL Framework for Viva
• Network health: You will work closely with the Network Partnerships Leadership Team to review Viva’s Network Health Check process and develop a system designed to support partner networks to build strong and sustainable networks
• Reviewing project delivery: You will work closely with Network Coaches to agree the most efficient outworking of the MEAL Framework with the Viva partner networks for projects where Viva has brokered funding.
• Evaluating Viva’s work: You will lead the process of evaluating Viva’s work, including but not limited to needs assessments, baseline survey, final evaluation, data quality audits, collecting monitoring data, network satisfaction surveys, and field supervision.
• Representing Viva: You will at different times and ways represent Viva externally, for example, through speaking in churches, prayer meetings, meeting with other Christian organisations.

This role will suit you if you:

• have at least a Bachelor’s degree in impact measurement or international development with a MEAL module, or a related field
• are experienced in working in Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning-related functions or related field
• have experience in project management including grant management and reporting
• are to demonstrate an active Christian faith, with an understanding of the Christian faith and church culture to be able to effectively engage with partner networks and churches
• think creatively and have a growth mindset, willing to challenge established ways of doing things
• enjoy working with people of different nationalities and cultures
• are looking to join a welcoming, creative, supportive and international team

Due to the nature of some of the key responsibilities, there is an Occupational Requirement for the postholder to be a Christian (Schedule 9 to the Equality Act 2010).

This is a part-time role for Viva, based anywhere in the world where Viva can employ you. If based in the UK, the full-time salary range is £36,000 to £40,000 per annum (pro-rata), depending on experience. If you are based outside of the UK, the reward package will be adjusted to reflect the relevant local market and terms and conditions.

The role can be remote, hybrid or office-based where Viva has an office (Hong Kong, UK, Uganda).

As a Projects Officer for Live Unlimited you'll be helping to make a difference to the lives of care experienced young people living in Barnet, north London.

Here at Live Unlimited our vision is that all care-experienced children and young people are able to achieve their potential and lead happy, fulfilled lives.

Most care experienced young people will have experienced trauma and adverse childhood experiences before they went into care system. 

Early intervention is key and we know at Live Unlimited the life-changing impact our schemes can make. As someone who shares our passion for social mobility, you'll be driven by a desire to help us to deliver first class opportunities to these incredible young people, providing support and inspiration along the way. 

Reporting to: Operations Director & Fundraising Manager

Location: Flexible and remote working is offered to all of our staff. We have an office based in Colindale, London, which we tend to work around two days per week, with two days remote working.

About the Role: This is an interesting and varied role. As the post holder you'll be not only be setting up, administering and delivering schemes and activities to benefit Barnet’s looked after young people, you'll also be creating marketing materials and supporting fundraising events.  Promoting the work of our charity is key too through updating our website, writing our quarterly newsletter and social media channels, as well as supporting the running and administration of the charity. 

About You:

You'll have experience of managing and delivering projects, schemes or activities and supporting administrative tasks including keeping accurate records, financial tracking and expenditure.
 
You'll also have experience of creating engaging content for newsletters, websites and/or social media channels especially Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram and building effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders to deliver common goals.
 
Having a passion for Live Unlimited’s vision and objectives is very useful in this role. We particularly welcome applicants with experience or being a looked after child, care leaver or personal experience of the care system.

Working hours: 28 hours (4 days per week) Could be split across five days. Core hours: 10am-4pm
