This role sits within Social Impact. Social Impact's primary focus is on 'Building a Movement,' which drives two key objectives:

We are currently looking for Senior Copywriter with 5+ years of experience and a proven track record of crafting bold and standout brand voice, impactful campaign messaging in both long and short form, and is capable of creating engaging and insightful yearly reports.

Key parts of this role include an ability to manage your own time efficiently, hold strong collaboration skills to work with designers, social, digital and strategy roles, and an eagerness to bring colleagues from outside of creative & copy backgrounds (often youth service practitioners) along with you through the creative process.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

-Act as enabler of our brand messaging and voice by coaching and upskilling colleagues and freelancers to develop messaging that is consistent with brand narrative and engages audiences, driving behaviour that creates action and impact

-Working closely with the Chief Creative to craft inspiring organisational messaging that builds on audience insight, tells a powerful story, elevates youth voice, amplifies message and grows support for the charity

-Support development and evolution of brand voice and editorial style guidelines that elevate youth voice, give young people agency and inclusive representation, help to ensure these are embedded across all messaging

Working closely with the prison and their staff, people in prison, Shannon Trust team members, this is an exciting role leading on the delivery and development of creative and exciting literacy initiatives and an ambitious Reading Strategy at HMP Hull, maximising opportunities for people in prison to learn to read.

This role will be prison-based. Job Purpose

• This role sits within our crisis alternative service, Safe Space, which is a core and out of hours service providing a safe and welcoming space for people who are feeling distressed and experiencing crisis. Our aim of the service is to keep individuals well in the community and prevent readmission into hospital. The service operates 365 days a year from 14:00-22:00pm across all our boroughs.
• Staff within the service will provide person-centred, practical and emotional support, face to face or via telephone or virtual on a one-to-one basis to individuals experiencing mental health crisis or preventing crisis.
• The objectives of the service include:
• To improve the mental wellbeing of people experiencing mental health and social crisis in HFEH.
• To proactively work with keeping people well in the community to reduce re-admitters into hospitals by working with WL NHS teams (e.g. discharge, LPS, CATT, MINT and SPA)
• To provide a true alternative to A&E via a non-clinical drop-in service to support clients
• To provide support to clients accessing the service- for instance: signposting, de-escalation and crisis recovery planning.

The Role

The role of the senior support worker is to support the team manager with the smooth running of the allocated site and staff; supporting development and rest of the team including volunteer recruiting, induction (training and development) and supervision. Senior support worker will also lead in delivering interventions on a one-to-one. The role will also involve triaging and assessing all clients accessing the service, signposting and delivering collaborative self-management plans with clients to improve mental wellbeing. As Philanthropy Lead, you will be responsible for designing and delivering a successful high-value donor programme, cultivating relationships with high-net-worth individuals, co-investment opportunities with trusts and foundations, and leading Youth Music’s philanthropy to meet ambitious income and activity targets. 

Your role will manage Youth Music’s donor pipeline, acquisition and retention strategy, making use of relationship management tools to optimise donor experience and track fundraising performance. This is a new position within Youth Music, and so we expect the successful candidate will help shape the role.

Reporting directly to the CEO, you will play a crucial role in Youth Music delivering its long-term fundraising strategy, to ensure a sustainable future for UK grassroots music which enables marginalised young people to make and monetise music.

In 2023, YWF trained a group of young people as researchers, empowering them to lead the way in understanding the challenges and opportunities facing Westminster’s young people.  Their work shaped our flagship report Our City. As a result of these findings, we collaborated with an additional group of young people to co-create Power UP! – a whole framework of opportunities providing training, mentorship, internships, youth associate roles and trusteeships to ensure youth voices are central to shaping decisions in both our organisation and in Westminster as a whole.

As Youth Voice & Engagement Manager, you will work with our Youth Voice Consultant, the team and young people to take a hands-on role in delivering, expanding and embedding these initiatives.

Your Role

Programme Leadership & Delivery

• Coordinate Power UP! - Plan, manage, and deliver activities including youth-led research, grant-making, internships and leadership opportunities.
• Run YEP! (Youth Empowerment Pathway) – Oversee this 3-month, 8-session programme, supporting external facilitators and guiding participants toward deeper engagement with and understanding of YWF.
• Mentor Youth Associates – Recruit, train and support young consultants leading change within YWF and their communities.

• Represent YWF at different public and professional settings, events and opportunities around youth voice, showcasing our work and approach.
• Champion Youth-Led Change – Work with the team to advocate for young people’s involvement in governance and policy within YWF and across Westminster.

Programme Management & Evaluation

• Measure Impact – Work with the Youth Voice Consultant and Evaluation and Data Specialist to use creative evaluation techniques to track the outcomes of Power UP!, ensuring activities lead to meaningful change.
• Manage Logistics – Oversee scheduling, coordination and reporting for all programme activities.
• Manage payments and budgets – manage an activities budget for the YEP! Programme, including overseeing facilitator costs and payments for young people

A fantastic opportunity to join an international charity, and passionate, energetic team, as their new Marketing Officer, where you will increase digital donor acquisition through e-campaigns and e-marketing activities; working across a breadth of social media, digital marketing, digital fundraising campaigns and creative communications and content. In this newly created position, the Marketing Officer will raise awareness of the charity’s work and promote engagement, partnerships and donations.

I’m looking to hear from a confident social media marketer, with experience working across Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn. The role:

This is a key role within the Executive Leadership team, with accountability for Finance, Procurement and IT at the Globe. PRINCIPLE DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Finance 

· Prepare financial management information including regular cash flow forecasts, reports, budgets, grant claims and management accounts for project managers, CEO, Board of Trustees and funders

· Ensure all statutory financial and other records, compliances and related inspections are met on time and records kept with regard to PAYE, NI, VAT, Companies House, Charities Commission, insurance, pension provision, audit requirements and annual reports

· Working closely with the CEO, prepare project and annual budgets, liaising with relevant staff

· Provide support and guidance to all budget holders for the effective management of budgets

· Maintain all financial systems and records for the organisation, including financial administration relating to general ledger, audit trails, Theatre Tax Relief, banking, petty cash management, staff expense claims and credit control

Building & Operations 

· Ensure appropriate licensing and insurance is in place

· Organise the supply of utilities to Emmanuel Hall

· Manage delivery of IT tech support contract and others as required

· Management of contractors and suppliers e.g. cleaner, electrician, waste collection

· Management of supplies necessary for smooth running of the building e.g. hand towels, stationery, cleaning products

Health & Safety

About the role

This role is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting those who struggle with complex needs, substance use, and dual diagnosis. We are looking for someone who can work flexibly to support residents and participants who struggle to engage with the support available to them through various providers. You will be at the heart of engaging our participants to regain motivation and the strength to step down from acute psychiatric wards and other supported living, by empowering them with the relevant skills and knowledge to support their journey. You will support them towards achieving their personal goals including independent living. You will be based across various homes, hospitals, wards, and supported living accommodations based around Lewisham.

You will provide pathways, support, and appropriate interventions that will enable successful resettlements, and deliver to achieve more safer, integrated communities for our stakeholders. The areas of support will include: Prevention, Transition, Activities of Daily Living (ADL), Support, and Social Inclusion. 

This role will work alongside South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust (SLAM) who provide the widest range of NHS mental health services in the UK. They also provide substance misuse services for people who are addicted to drugs and alcohol with 4,600 staff serving a local population of 1.3 million people.

• Support a caseload of participants, contribute to the development of support plans, risk assessments and reviews.
• Positively promote the pathways available towards independent living within the community. Ensure participants understand what tools and resources are available to them to regain independence.
• Participate in, and encourage R&Ps to participate in the running and development of projects, initiatives, training and volunteering.
• Recognise signs of deteriorating mental health and initiate appropriate interventions to prevent a crisis.

As part of the new Dementia Support contract in Hertfordshire, which started in October 2024, the Alzheimer’s Society has taken over the management and facilitation of dementia support group services across Hertfordshire. Currently we manage 22 centre-based activities groups (weekly) across Herts, in addition to another 4-5 online groups (carers and Young Onset specific). The groups are well established and a crucial means of support to service users and carers.  We are in the process of reviewing our groups, this might result in us developing more new and varied groups (respite, specific communities or location specific) in the coming months.
As a group facilitator you will have many key functions, this will include managing and facilitating weekly activities based groups (could range from 2-4 groups per week), structuring a 12 week program for the groups you manage in consultation with service users and carers; managing volunteers that support your groups, working with local Dementia Advisers to provide 1-2-1 support for groups attendees and establishing relationships with local organisations for the purposes of facilitating signposted support for service users.
You will be joining a team of expert Group Facilitators and Dementia Advisers that are experienced and passionate about their work, and they will support you to undertake your role successfully. 
About you

- Passionate about supporting people to maintain their independence, improve their sense of well-being, and help them take more control of their lives.
- Experience of managing and supporting groups.
- Experience of supporting people within a group setting.
- Be creative in developing activities.
- Strong communication skills to deliver advice and guidance with a non-judgmental and compassionate approach.
- Good IT skills, including experience working with databases and virtual meeting software (Teams / Zoom).
- Able to network effectively and collaborating with other professionals to achieve a positive outcome for people.
- Be able to travel independently across Hertfordshire.
- Be able to work flexibly to support existing groups and provide cover when needed
- Working pattern to include Mondays and Fridays

Interviews will take place on the 20th May 2025.
As part of the interview, you will be required to provide a 5 min presentation on a question/ task we set.
What you’ll focus on:

- Manage and facilitate weekly activity-based dementia support groups across Herts.
- Plan and organise 12 weekly activities programs for the groups you will manage.
- Offer light touch support to group attendees and liaise with local Dementia Advisers to facilitate 1-2-1 support for group attendees/ carers (if required).
- Create new groups in consultation with service users and based on needs of the area (quadrant) where you will manage and facilitate groups. 
- Manage volunteers that will support the groups you manage.
- Engage with the wider team and community organisations
