The Role
You’ll be part of our Financial Inclusion team, looking holistically at customers and their household circumstances and finding innovative ways to support them to make sustained changes. You’ll be working with partners, building new relationships both internally and externally, with an overall aim to aid our customers to become financially resilient.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and enhancing financial inclusion initiatives, with a primary focus on energy-related projects
- Collaborating with customer support teams to ensure impactful delivery of financial inclusion offers
- Supporting operational activities of Financial Inclusion programs across SNG communities
- Working closely with the Financial and Digital Inclusion Manager to identify new delivery partners and continue to develop financial inclusion offers for sustained positive customer impact
- Reporting and analysing on program impacts to evaluate value for money and guide future planning
What we’re looking for
Previous experience in a similar role, with an understanding of financial inclusion challenges and its impacts would be beneficial but isn’t essential. You will need:

3. Marketing and communications
- Produce innovative content for the delivery of creative, successful and cost-effective marketing and media campaigns targeting online and off-line audiences.
- Target specific communications which promote our work to wheelchair users, those who support wheelchair users, disabled groups, disabled children, their families and our supporters.
- Manage and produce regular outbound communications which promote WheelPower and our partners’ events and activities.
- Maintain and develop good relationships with local and national media organisations.
- Produce high quality press releases for written media, arrange interviews with radio, and be the point of contact to organise and arrange TV media to attend our events.

4. Content Creation
- Promote our events and activities by telling the stories of how our work has had a positive impact on the physical and mental well-being of disabled people

- Create original social media graphics, leaflets, posters and a wide variety of marketing materials to promote sport and fundraising activities.

This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to establish effective rapport and deliver therapeutic interventions via telephone or video link. We are looking for a professional who can work in a flexible, intelligent, and creative way. Candidates should have experience of working as a remote counsellor within the NHS, charity sector or private practice, and have knowledge, experience/understanding of how cancer treatment can affect a patient’s health and wellbeing.

The Digital Content and Communications Officer (DCCO) reports to the Digital Communications Manager and has responsibility for the SAT-7 UK website, digital marketing and social media.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Website: Developing and updating SAT-7’s websites as inspiring platforms to raise profile, income and engagement.
Emails: Work with colleagues in the Communications Team and across the organisation to build, test and send responsive email templates for all SAT-7 UK’s email requirements (meeting SAT-7’s brand guidelines and conforming to industry standards). Use email marketing tool DotDigital to develop automated communications that strengthen supporter engagement and convert recipients into committed donors.
Content: Deliver engaging and inspiring rich media content across a range of digital channels, including web, email, podcasts, social media and other digital marketing platforms.
Social Media: Work closely with other team members to deliver strong social media content and engagement across various platforms, chiefly Facebook, Instagram, X, YouTube, LinkedIn.
Digital Marketing: Support the digital marketing of SAT-7 resources and campaigns through social media advertising, external agencies and other channels as required, to engage more deeply with existing supporters and donors, raise profile, acquire new supporters and to raise funds for SAT-7 UK.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- In all communication ensure consistent messaging, branding and tone of voice for the intended audience and that content conforms to the security and style guides.
- Use Customer Relationship Management systems to ensure efficient and secure storage of information.
- Assist members of the team in responding appropriately to communications from supporters and other organisations.
- Liaise with SAT-7 staff from other offices to share ideas and resources.
- Assist the Digital Communications Manager and represent SAT-7 UK at conferences and events as required.
- At all times operate within relevant statutory requirements and guidelines, following best practice recommendations wherever possible. Specially ensure compliance with the Fundraising Regulator and General Data Protection Regulations.

Main responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, attend and execute a range of charity programmes and events.
- Oversee all event logistics, including venue selection, contract negotiations, transportation, accommodation, and catering arrangements.
- Agenda and room allocations
