About you:
- Understanding and experience of working with the issues faced by people who experience mental ill health, substance use issues, and who have offending histories, in accessing the appropriate support from services.
- A working knowledge of best practice to support individuals who may be classified as ‘experiencing multiple disadvantage’ including Trauma Informed Approaches.
- Experience working as part of a multi-agency partnership to address complex problems and bring about positive change.
- Familiarity with relevant housing, health and social justice legislation, policy and best practice relevant to systems change and people with multiple needs.
- A good and current understanding of safeguarding issues and procedures.

Your Responsibilities
Lead and Inspire

We’re looking for a strategic, creative Head of Fundraising to lead our next phase of growth.
Your first focus will be stewarding our 3,000 fundraisers - overseeing segmented email journeys, managing a £40k prizing fund, and improving supporter care through deeper, more personal touchpoints. That might mean calls, events, or just finding ways to help people feel more connected to their impact.

About the team
This is a very exciting time to be joining Impetus as we aim to support more young people this year than ever before in our history. We are looking for a highly organised and motivated Team Administrator who is excited by the prospect of working for an ambitious Philanthropy team in a sector leading charity. In this varied role, you will have the opportunity to support a variety of different types of donor engagement, including volunteering, pro bono, and events, as well as partnership management, in particular corporate partnerships.
The Philanthropy team raises income for Impetus and for Impetus partner charities. There are thirteen members of the team who are responsible for fundraising, events, and donor engagement, as well as collaborating with colleagues across the organisation to ensure we make a compelling case to generate new financial commitments and wider support for our work. The team also delivers a high-quality engagement programme of volunteering and pro bono for Impetus’s corporate supporters. Impetus has an annual income of over £10 million which we are looking to grow to £12-14 million within the next few years.
Impetus is driven by a shared belief in tackling the barriers that hold back young people from disadvantaged backgrounds in education and employment. Alongside investing extensive financial and non-financial support in our charity partners through our Investment Team we also seek to influence decision makers to design and implement evidence led policy and direct new resources to get young people the support they need through our Public Affairs team. Donor engagement support

1. Brief job description
Role: Communications and Marketing Lead
Salary: In the region of £41,000 - £51,000 dependent upon qualifications and experience
Holiday allowance: 25 days per annum, plus UK bank holidays

This is a broad and influential role for an experienced communications and marketing professional to amplify our core conservation messaging alongside our fundraising campaigns. - Lead on the development and implementation of all communications messaging and materials, in line with organisational core values and strategic vision

The programme

The role
The Programme Officer (PO) will support the effective delivery of the Foundation’s Knowledge, Learning and Communications (KLC) workplan. The individual
We seek an individual with demonstrated experience in communications gained within a comparable field, especially of social media and online marketing, along with experience of using website content management systems. The ideal candidate will also have experience using the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite and have a good understanding of Microsoft tools and webinar/virtual meeting platforms. They will have strong writing skills and experience in storytelling and reporting, along with an ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders. They should have an awareness of ensuring brand and style guidelines are reflected across communication activities and be comfortable acting as a first point of contact for media enquiries as well as liaising with colleagues and external suppliers.

Our innovative Open the Gate (OTG) programme at our Battersea Hub offers work experience, volunteering opportunities, accredited training, mentoring, and signposting support to participants/ Apprentices at any point on their resettlement journey. The successful candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of the challenges faced by people in contact with the criminal justice system and will work proactively to establish meaningful and sustainable cross-referral pathways with external agencies. Principal Accountabilities for the Core Job:
1. Nurturing a professional working environment where Open The Gate Apprentices are supported to achieve their potential.

Relationship management and cultivation

You will be responsible for the delivery of communications across channels, including email, post and text messaging, ensuring accurate and timely implementation of agreed communications.
Central to increasing loyalty and inspiring positive action from our audience, we share the extent of the work being done by Versus Arthritis for the 10 million people in the UK living with arthritis. Alongside product managers, you will work to optimise in-product journeys across the organisation through consultancy and shared learning. You will work collaboratively with the head of department and other directorate colleagues to create and embed a fundraising and engagement culture across the organisation.
A key part of the role is to provide practical, administrative support and to lead on facilitating the collection of insight evaluation and future development, ensuring this supports team performance and learning. We’re a small and dynamic team at the forefront of innovating the charity’s Income and Engagement directorate.

About you
If your knowledge, skills and experience include the following then we’d love to hear from you:
- Experience writing in different styles and producing content for different audiences.
- Experience delivering audience focused engagement strategies and communications, with excellent copywriting skills.
- Creative and curious, excited to research and test new ways of engaging with supporters, with an appetite to learn about approaches from across and beyond the sector.
- Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills, with an audience and insight-led approach, keeping the supporters’ best interests at the heart of decision-making.

About the Role

The role
This is an exciting and challenging position in a friendly and committed insight team. You will work with our partnerships team focusing on insight of disabled people’s needs to our partners. These can be energy suppliers, parcel delivery companies, and academic organisations.
You will need to have experience and skills in using a range of research approaches and methodologies. User testing experience would also be an advantage.
About you
To be successful in this role we are looking for someone who:
· has 2 years direct experience of running insight projects, preferably in a commercial environment
· is educated to degree level, with an insight or market research element
· has GCSEs for English Language and Maths, or an acceptable equivalent
· is able to manage multiple insight projects to time and work in a team
· has a flexible, can-do approach, with strong skills in establishing empathy and rapport with a wide range of people
